Comfortable and useful platform for task management. The boards are very easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Creating a project using Asana is really useful. It gives you every tool to create tasks and sub-tasks and make your team involved in the teamwork. Having the ability to sue emojis is fun, it keeps the team motivated and helps us create a friendly board
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I don't like about Asana, it's one of the project management tools I've used and I'm totally good with it. One thing i do not like is the amount of notifications it sends to us
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me create boards where all of my team members can see their products and progress. Assigning a task to a team member is a great feature, you do not need to send emails or text them on another social media channel anymore.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
excellent platform for task management!
Keeps Me Organized!
What do you like best about the product?
I love Asana's ability to create teams, see timelines of projects, and communicate with teammates. It makes collaboration so easy and keeps me organized as a solopreneur.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to mark a Project as Complete instead of having to archive it. I also wish the paid version was a bit more economical per user compared to the free version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem I've solved with Asana is organizing my workflow. I can see everything mapped out and I can sync it to my calendar, which is great for accountability. Besides that, it's been a great tool to help me work with contractors. Saves me from sending multiple emails.
Easy way to track projects and completion
What do you like best about the product?
Asana provides an easy way to keep track of projects. You can quickly identify who is part of a specific task, what projects are a priority, and see if any of them have a due date.
What do you dislike about the product?
On the board view, once you mark a task as completed, it's not as intuitive to identify how to get the task back. Usually, rather than using the "Mark Complete" option, I prefer to move a project to a "Done" or "Completed" column. This way, I can quickly refer back to it if needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of active projects and seeing what is coming on the pipeline.
All things that require Project Management are centered around Asana for our Organization.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana gives us a centralized, collaborative workspace to task and track the important work that our programs require. It integrates nicely with our existing tech stack tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though we qualify for a non-profit discount for the licenses, the cost is still the main pain point of utilizing the tool. Other than that, we really enjoy the features and impact on workflow that it provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The days of managing projects and communications in spreadsheets and chats are long gone once we implemented Asana for our organization. We improved communication, efficiency, and productivity thanks to our adoption of Asana.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're a non-profit organization considering Asana for Project Management, make sure to apply for their non-profit discount through Techshoup. It can help sweeten the deal and adoption for stakeholders. Utilize their community and academy resources for answers to common questions and best practices for implementation, onboarding, and daily use.
Asana makes the mountain scalable!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana's ease of use makes it accessible to almost anyone. The ability to toggle between views based on project type or style of consumption along with ability to stay agile makes Asana stand out from the rest.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything I dislike per say but I do wish that there was currently the ability to generate and assign tasks to various users/teams based upon form input values.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team size has been reduced but we have been able to keep pace, track and stage our workload without missing a beat. In turn we have kept on pace for end of year goals.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dive in and get flowing. Asana makes it easy.
Great project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana ties in very effectively with Slack and Google Workplace providing great complementarity... as a project management tool, it has all the features I need to track activities, set milestones and assign resources. It is the combination of all these factors that make it my go-to project management tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting the alerts right and ensuring the tie-in alerts with Slack and Google are properly configured has been the biggest challenge. Some of the views are also hard to track but there are enough options to find the one you want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this across the organization tracking both our projects and our organizational development goals. Asana allows us to now only assign tasks but to also include those providing inputs into the tasks and ways to communicate across the project team with its communication functions... I also like its fun features like visual awards when tasks are completed. The alerts allow us to flag when project activities are do so we can track where we are ahead or behind in the schedule. It also allows us to take a look at our work at the global level to see which project activities are occurring concurrently to see if we can get efficiencies of scale.

Fully endorse the use of Asana
Gamechanger for our Team!
What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive platform. This program has been a gamechanger for our team to organize and manage big projects and daily "to-do"s. It's easy to learn and fast to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
As they continue to roll out more features, the platform continues to improve. I think I would just appreciate the ability to customize even more. But that changes regularly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple departments with big projects that overlap among all members of the team. This platform makes it easy to manage my tasks, as well as know where we are with a larger team project to stay on track.
Amazing, helps me be more productive
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy tagging people in messages, the boards in which to keep posts, and due dates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email invitations are rather annoying and sometimes hard to manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana to manage IT projects in our office and hold each other accountable.
Asana All The Way!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes task management and to-do lists so easy. We use Asana to assign tasks internally as well as to free-lancers, & we love having it all in one place with attached deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing missing from Asana is a way to see when someone else from the team is working on the same project simultaneously. It would be nice to see live updates without refreshing the task each time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has helped our team immensely with productivity and organization. It is much easier for a group of creatives to flow when they can easily find the details and deadlines for their projects.
Asana exceeds my expectations even with the free version
What do you like best about the product?
I love the multiple ways to track my tasks. Being able to make my tasks in a list view and then swap to the calendar view has been a gamechanger.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could assign a task to multiple people at once. The current way of duplicating a task for multiple assignees seems like an okay solution, but I'd like that functionality to be a little cleaner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management has been such a headache for my team. We've used 4 different project management softwarew over 3 years and full-circle came back to asana.
The transparency of tasks between teams and projects has been incredibly helpful and simple to manage. As a person who manages a team, it's essential for me to be able to understand the complexity of projects and the delegation of tasks throughout the company.
