A Must Have

  • November 11, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I couldn't fuction without this organization tool. It organizes clients, tasks, is user friendly, and have mutliple view types so you can browse your tasks how it works best for you. This is a MUST HAVE.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is there isn't a live chat help option. I don't personally like waiting for help, but I use the free plan so I really can't expect that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to sort a really large amount of clients and see their status and whats needs to be done, and being able to see a different view of only tasks that need to be done.

Super organized with every feature you could ask for

  • November 10, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love all of the features. Most platforms only have a handful of what I'm looking for so I have to settle for what I think is most important but this has every single one I could ask for
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how much time we have to take to set it up. I would love if there was more templates to choose from to start. I also don't like their customer service. Very difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems that are being solved are organizing and holding our teams accountable. There's so much visibility into who it doing what, how and when. We didn't have that prior and as a project manager, that's exactly what I need.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do your research into setting it up. It's so custom which is really nice but it's a lot of pressure to sit there and figure out exactly how to do it and what features to use

Simple yet effective task management platform.

  • November 10, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite parts of utilizing Asana are the community, the ease of use, and their knowledge base. The community is quite active and can often problem solve or explain alternative methods for the vast majority of issues. Asana is a simple task management platform, that lacks the customizability of some of its more sophisticated counter-parts, but is easy to deploy and train on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is missing some common sense functionality that would enable power users to get more out of the platform. Specifically, things like conditional logic for rules or the ability to more actively integrate the platform with outside software (the Asana API seems to struggle when dealing with massive workspace [1+ million tasks, 10,000+ projects]) and so that's another option that would be good for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has reduced the amount of meetings that we need to have and it has simplified my ability to produce project updates, meeting summaries, and weekly reviews. My favorite feature here is posting portfolio updates to make concise text around what is being done for specific groups of projets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you'd like an ease to use and quickly implemented task management software platform, use Asana.
