works well as content management system
What do you like best about the product?
I've used it for one project with my current editing job and for the entirety of my contracted time with a freelance client. It's very easy to use and helps organize tasks and deadlines. It's easy to mark something off as completed, assign it to the next person, tag someone, add an emoji reaction or a comment, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had any issues yet but also have not been the one to create content and deadlines in the system. I can only speak as a user who marks tasks off and reassigns them (or reacts or comments). And I've had no issues with any of that yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For the special project I worked on, Asana was the perfect content management system to keep us organized and on track. Especially since I needed to collaborate with others outside of my team, it made things much smoother than if we were relying on emails and chats to keep each other updated.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I know there are a lot of content management systems out there to choose from, but if you only need something for up to 15 people, this is a good one to consider if the budget is an issue. It's easy to use and really keeps teams and projects organized.

-The tool can be slow sometimes. Have noticed performance issues creep in every now and then

Is almost the industry standard for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like the compatibility and how user-friendly it is. I like that is the go-to software used for the Google Project Management certificate training.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires some getting to know it at first but then is smooth sailing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am keeping track of projects and a quick and easy way for doing project time estimations.

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Asana because I can focus on a specific project and tasks and can then zoom out and see the whole picture and what is on my plate for the day, week, and month. Also, narwahls!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had to turn off all of the notifications for tasks and updates, which otherwise get pretty overwhelming. I don't really have any other challenges with the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a freelancer with at least three but up to seven clients/projects at any given time. There are a lot of moving parts to these projects and I am usually the one responsible for keeping them all on track. Asana has helped me build out project plans, make assignments, and set deadlines - and then all of that can live in Asana and not in my brain, which means that I have the mental power to work on other projects and even, occasionally, feed and bathe myself.

Nothing in specific. Sometimes the service goes down though.

I love that there are so many views to see the same information. I can use what works for me!

I would really like there to be a way to show subtasks on my timeline

Best Task Management Tool Ever
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Asana is organized for projects within work spaces, this makes it easy to have a professional and personal projects separate, which allows for privacy as well.
Within each project you can make tasks, and within the task, you can make subtasks. It's super easy to change a task from one project to another.
Each task has a comment section that allows for you to give details on the status, which is really good for remote work and/or team collaboration.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is NOTHING i don't like about Asana. I have been using this product for 5 years and I can't even think of what to suggest to Asana as a feature I would need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like that the app allows for easy team collaboration and easy status checking. I think it helps the office focus on the next steps, rather than going over the entire file to verify what tasks have and/or haven't been completed.

What do you like best about the product?
I've used Asana to keep my tasks organized when I worked in my publicity internship. I was able to add team members and they were able to see what we were all doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first it was overwhelming because I'm used to writing on pen and paper, but Asana has small video tutorials to help you learn how to use the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is good for administration work. Instead of sending Google calendar notifications, then having to call my boss about what tasks I need to complete and then having to email her about something else, I can just use Asana for all of those. That way I won't have to be all over the place, Asana is useful for everything.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Asana lets me work directly with my team members on projects and we can all contribute to it, update status, share comments and ensure we meet our deadlines. It's super user-friendly, intuitive, and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a little bit of a learning curve to fully embrace the platform. So when other team members aren't entering things correctly, it can be hard to find some tasks and projects at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is allowing us to plan and manage all our projects, set key timelines for deliverables and add everyone on the team who needs to be involved for visibility and feedback.

Being able to plan out projects and include co-workers on them, with dates to hold you accountable.

Not always very user friendly, had a hard time remembering how to use certain functions.

Project management has become more streamlined, and it helps everyone stay on the same page.
