We use Asana every day
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of asana is the ability to collaborate with my team of 15+ people easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing, Asana is great but pretty pricey, especially if you have many specialists on your team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem I'm solving with asana is task collaboration and task record keeping.
Excellent team task tracking
What do you like best about the product?
I love the robust task tracking that allows for project management, user task tracking and ability to create sub tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customizing view is available but not the most intuitive to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana creates business solutions by customized recurring tasks, ability to assign tasks and create sub tasks. Being able to manage my team's tasks allows me to determine who I can give projects to since I can see what tasks they have coming up.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Whenever you set up a user go immediately into the user notification settings and turn off email notifications. Otherwise the user's inbox will be inundated.
Asana Helps Me Keep Multiple Work Projects On Track and On Time
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana mainly with their "List" view. I love that I can create sections, enter tasks under each section, give each task a due date, and assign each task to a team member. We keep Asana open during the workday in the background so that we can enter updates into various tasks, change due dates as needed. I also love that we can give each task a priority. It really helps to keep us on task. Since we first started using Asana in July 2020, other teams within our department have also adopted Asana as a platform that helps them to track their work and stay on top of their various projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are using the free version of Asana, and at this time it is meeting all of our needs. If our needs were to grow, I imagine I'd want the ability to report out on our projects and progress, which is already available, but in the paid subscriptions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows us to keep track of multiple projects that and underway concurrently, and all of them have ambitious timelines and deadlines. Using Asana has allowed us to see what the current priorities are, as well as what is looming in the not-so-distant future. This gives us the opportunity to be more flexible with how we prioritize our work on a daily basis (and how we need to manage the expectations of those we are working for) so that we can produce quality work on time that benefits the greater good of the team. Without Asana we would be lost - it has been the tool we rely on to successfully do our work and fulfill the needs of our greater team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend Asana as a project management platform. We are using simply the free subscription version and even at the free level, it includes a lot of features that allow you to schedule, track, and manage various projects at the same time. We "test drove" a couple other cloud based project management solutions and selected Asana for their flexibility and ease of use. I would be lost without Asana.
Keeps me on track and celebrates the wins!
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface design is easy to follow. I love the project reminders and the celebrations on screen when a project is complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
The project access buttons are not clear to access a project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management - staying on task. I can work on multiple projects at once and know nothing will fall by the wayside.

Get Things Done With Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana on a daily basis. Asana has multiple features that are helpful and easy to use. I love how they are always adding new features and tools. This is a great platform for collaborating with colleges and clients. Asana can also integrate with apps that you use daily, and the implementation process is easy. The Asana can be used in several different ways, and you can customize your view to fit the type of project you are working on. Asana has a vast library of help documentation, and their customer support is top-notch!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not a whole lot to dislike about Asana. The only issue that I have seen recently is with the form feature. The issue is that there is not a great process after a form is completed by an outside user. The completed form just shows up on the project that you originally created the form from.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Asana for three years strictly as a task management solution for our Event App. Recently, I have started to use Asana for several different areas of our business. Asana allows us to keep everything in one place and also allows us to integrate with Google Forms and Zendesk. Asana solved our issue of having information in several different places. Asana has helped us stay organized and operate more efficiently.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana can be used in multiple different ways. It is so easy to communicate directly with employees and clients directly from each project. Asana will keep you organized and it will keep you on track to meet deadlines that you might have. Best software for project management
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to use the platform. From project creating, tasks creation, collaboration, etc - it's all done within the application. Inviting people from other organizations to collaborate is also really easy in terms of levels of permissions. The user interface is great as well. Everything in thte software is very intuivtive and makes sense as a logical next step.
I am a big fan of "the quote what doesn't get tracked, doesn't get managed." Asana is the best tool to track and manage all sorts of projects. I'm a fan of the dependencies as well as their reporting. This allows me to spot bottle necks in the process and communicate with the necessary parties to get it taken care of.

What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of many things I dislike. I would, however, appreciate it if they created a solo plan. Also, I don't like the fact that I cannot update more than 50 tasks at a time, and if I select more than 99 tasks, it just says 99+ as opposed to an actual number. Another feature that could be improved - again not a detractor, but could simply be improved is
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, task management, team alignment. If today's day and age, where the workforece is becoming more and more remote, it's imperative to use software like this. Asana makes it easy collaborate with team members globally. The dependencies feature allows you to spot bottlenecks so you can meet with the individual or team to get to the bottom of the issue and get the task done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out. When you compare it to other competitors like Monday.com, you'll see that Asana comes out ahead. In terms of UI, ease of use and community support, Asana comes out ahead. I enjoy going to their local meetups to learn more about their product. Asana Academy is also a good resource.
