Flexible Collaboration Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The tool has a great intuitive (and aesthetically pleasing) task display with an archiving function.
Tasks and all their functionalities are my favorite aspect of Asana, tasks can have sub-tasks, attachments, collaborators, due dates, deadlines, custom fields, comments and can even be linked to other tasks. And in case you don't like seeing your tasks in a list, you can easily switch to a kanban board for even more task-organizing options.
This makes it effortless to find all the information you need in one place, we all know how time consuming it can be to search for a projects work history.

What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately the tool does not have an in-built document editing tool. Although you can attach files and even attach images where teammates can add commentary, there is no live, collaborative document-editing function.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team has always been overworked but have never been able to pinpoint how or why. Finally, we are able to track our workload and measure it using the workload tool. Visibility of each persons struggles and achievements have been fundamental in strengthening our relationship as a team and increasing our team value in the eyes of the business. We have used the extracts from Asana to build a case to secure more head count and expand our team!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're considering switching to Asana from another project management tool or if this is the first project management tool you use, I can assure you that you won't be overwhelmed! Things are simple and intuitive and within a day you will feel as if you have been using the tool for years. Also, there are TONS of materials available to help you become an Asana pro.

What do you like best about the product?
Clear sleek design, easy to use and good interface the connects to almost any existing tools (email, google docs)
What do you dislike about the product?
Notifications and order of what should we do next is not super clear. Things get left behind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking worldwide incidents and documenting the global teamwork. 3 different time zone and work is tracked quite well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't give up on colleagues who refuse to adapt. Find ways to train and be persistent.
Amazing collaborative tool
What do you like best about the product?
Project management, Its timeline feature to have a clear view on milestones and timelines. Visibility on what others are doing. The biggest thing is ability to communicate and collaborate at a task level without dropping email/ pinging anyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be more living with other apps. Right now it is more of "view" functionality. Example: If a task completes on Jira, the same task should also get completed on Asana.

Asana is a great way for employers to stay organized with their daily tasks remotely and share this same template with other team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the app runs on data and runs slower via internet, sometimes the features work slower, wish there was an offline mode

Task delegation is the biggest problem solved with Asana and the benefit is seen when there are more than 4 users

Recommend formulating an offline version of Asana so that multiple users can be logged in and changing things in real-time (Similar to google docs)

Its functionality is strict, because it contains a software for administrative use, with a clear business focus, being the carrier of a commercial organization platform that effectively influences to achieve the most significant changes for their employers, having a service, which exposes the financial values to be understood clearly to give business functions to each user that can contribute to channel a recognizable performance by the company, linked to the asana service.

I recognize that your system brings with it an error within your platform, because in several opportunities I have noticed that it does not respond adequately with its guarantee of supervision, overlooking some very important data, which must be taken into account in order to correct any detail that influences its services to not comply with its patterns of corporate problem solving within the administrative system of your organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been possible to skillfully organize the statistics generated by my organization's system, given by the calculation system that manages asana with an agile methodology. Some features are limited if you are not buying full version.
I would want that i in a list view i would see subtask subtasks too.. like 3 level cascade ( now there is 2 )

Idiot proof PM tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the instinctual nature of this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of options they offer, it's very overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the issue of no PM on the team who is there to address timelines, creative resource allocation, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana's intuitive and elegant design allows the whole company to use it from day one. It is not difficult to see how you can handle Asana and how you can use the application. It is not difficult to see how you can handle Asana in the company of yours and the way to use the application. It's a really stylish and extremely powerful interface design. The ability to use lists and tables and to transition between the formats is quite helpful and this's just among the many customization options, so each end user is able to do what they like with I believe it may be customized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features require more clicks compared to others, but this could be done by accidental deletion for instance. We realize this's a solution to make sure that it's not done. I delight in the point that the staff is continually working to enhance and refine the functionality.
