Great Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I find that Asana simplifies a lot of the project management tasks that my team and I are working on at any given time. It allows for quick, easy, and clear reporting, communication, and now metrics so that we can track our productivity as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see multiple assignees; while the limit to one assignee per task is understandable, having the ability to tag a collaborator or someone from another department who needs to sign off on an aspect of a ticket or project stage—without the need to create a custom rule—would be beneficial. At the very least, the ability to turn this feature on for more advanced users instead of throttling across the board would be excellent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to standardize a great deal of my department's workflow through Asana by creating rules (built-in automation) and utilizing integration with our other software—primarily Slack. This means we can track a great deal of our spending, and we're able to identify bottlenecks, create SLAs, and track spending.
Best collaboration tool for remote teams!
What do you like best about the product?
I think Asana is amazing for organizing all the tasks by projects, and communicating within the team on status and progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
I only wish I could see a combined to-do list across workspaces - since I use Asana not only for work, but also fro my personal life and my side hustle start up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is our central source of truth. Everything is linked there, so we all know what versions of files are current, and we all know what needs to happen next to stay on track with goals and initiatives.
Asana has been a game changer for me in the cloud accounting space
What do you like best about the product?
Great collaboration tool across the entire team and on multiple projects. Can even invite third parties and clients into the collaboration space. Amazing app on phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with outlook calendar works but could be better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving collaboration and efficiency gaps when working with team members across the country. Productive enhancer. Everyone knows what the status of projects and tasks are. Great for recurring reminders etc
Easy to use and understand
What do you like best about the product?
Easy organizing and simple UI makes creating and sorting tasks a breeze.
Sections tabs is a beautiful way to combine several tasks of similar nature. I use this all time.

What do you dislike about the product?
We can't select a section and move it under anither section. Hope this will be fixed in the future update.

Organizing and following up of my work related tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Tried several apps and always comes back to Asana due to its simplicity and cross platform support.
Great platform I've been using for over 5 years
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of creating projects with subcategories and subtasks for managing projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search feature doesn't always pull subtasks into results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing a robust team with many ongoing projects. Asana allows me to see at a glance where team members are with current tasks and what is overdue or coming up.
Flexible Project/Task Management Tool that Accommodates Many Working Styles
What do you like best about the product?
In Asana, there are lots of ways to organize projects, tasks, and lists. I like this because if you are more visual, there's an option for that. If you prefer lists, there's a way to view projects like that instead. If you want smaller tasks that bubble up to more significant projects, you can make that work. It's easier to work with your team, who all have different ways of looking at their to-dos, and all manage them together. Excellent for collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of the flexibility and style options, it's hard to get a clear picture of what a team is doing as a whole and who is responsible for what for lower-level tasks and projects. But that's more of a comment on teams than it is on Asana!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company is a global company made up of remote workers. We're not in the office together, so Asana helps us collaborate as if we were. It's great for this!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get buy-in on using Asana from the whole team who will be using it. Otherwise, it's just another list of tasks for you. Just make sure that you are all using it to keep track of tasks and projects so that it is a good representation of work you are progressing on instead of haphazard and outdated content.
Favourite tool to stay organised with all my work tasks
What do you like best about the product?
You can easily organize projects for different teams.
It offers the flexibility to assign the same task to multiple projects.
As each task can be assigned to only one person, it helps keep accountability for the work to be done. The UI is very easy, I started as a beginner for Project management tools but it was easy to learn how to use Asana.
It has so many options for direct integrations, I have automated my google events to be marked as tasks in Asana, this makes it easier to keep track of my schedule.
It gets synced fast across devices, when I make changes in the mobile app they immediately get reflected in the web app.

What do you dislike about the product?
Dark mode for mobile app is still awaited, though appreciate them launching the dark mode in web app recently.
Only 16 colours are currently available to colour code the projects and tasks I hope they provide more flexibility to colour code the tasks.

Asana Is Perfect For Remote Working
What do you like best about the product?
As a freelance writer, I am contracted with a company based out of LA. We use Asana to assign work, communicate, and check off our to-do lists. It's super straightforward to use and requires 0 training!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing about Asana that I have found that I dislike after 2 years of use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Asana, we are making remote communication a piece of cake. My assignments are given to me every week with very little communication with my client and when I am finished, I can simply attach the final product for review. There's no easier way to work with others that are in a different state than you

Asana is our reliable platform, it is a great tool for business organization.
I cannot get enough of Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I've never been able to better organize my work and know what's going on day-to-day with myself and my team than when I use Asana. I've converted many teams to Asana and none of them have ever looked back. It's easy to organize—hello multihoming!—and easy to use, very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest thing I could use in Asana is a round-robin style assignment feature that automatically assigns new tasks to members of the team that have bandwidth. That would be a huge timesaver for everyone.
All of the amazing features can sometimes get overwhelming, especially for someone who is brand new to project management tools.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Less work about work! I've automated so many tasks through Asana that would typically take hours to build out—things like adding due dates, creating a templated project, automatically moving a task from section to section, etc. It makes a project manager's life much easier.
