Easy to use and get going
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is easy to get started using quickly and intuitive in how it works. Most importantly, there are multiple formats to track projects - based on project management preference and team needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could visualize sub-tasks on boards as that work often gets lost since it can't be visualized. It lacks built-in time tracking and advanced project timelines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is a centralized tool to track multiple web development projects with distributed teams.
A good tool for managing team projects
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is simple to set up and use. We literally got our department up and running in a day. This included adding team members and getting them up to speed (some of whom were non-technical).
Adding multiple team members to a project item was super helpful and everyone assigned to the task can track the progress on that task from one common thread. This helped reduce the duplication of tasks by different team members assigned to a common task.
Asan can also be configured to have multiple layouts and tasks on one layout can be linked to a different one, allowing progress to be tracked in ways that make sense in different situations. This is a feature that I probably didn't explain well but I'm sure there are multiple video tutorials online that would do a better job of demonstrating this.
I also enjoy the templating feature that helps us save time by starting new projects based on a previous one. How much time is saved you may ask? Try restarting a complex project and figuring out what has to be in place from scratch everytime.
The Asana app for mobile phones also has a fairly intuitive user experience (more on that later) and most of our team members were able to get on board early.

What do you dislike about the product?
Well, there isn't much to dislike about Asana. The out-of-the-box product is set up to send lots of emails notifying users of almost every single item to which they are tagged. This quickly gets annoying and turning off the multiple notifications easily solves this. I do understand the need for such reminders to be sent out, but I would have preferred a less aggressive notification approach especially when onboarding new users. Apart from this pet peeve of mine, Asana has been great for our team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Asana to coordinate teaching in an academic department at a university. We use it to assign Faculty their classes, inform them of any important dates and announcements, as well as in managing the teaching process and sharing experiences.
This has helped us to keep the important parts of our workflow front and center. It has helped us realize the inefficiency of normal email. It has also helped the team to get communicate and coordinate better than before.

Make the most of YouTube tutorials, they are a goldmine for getting started smoothly.
Great Tool for Team Collaboration and keeping everyone Aligned
What do you like best about the product?
The Intuitive UI allows me to work easily on this for long time. Great collaboration, integrations with other apps. The asana mobile app is also very useful to get notifications and manage tasks on the fly. The portfolio view and the timeline creates unique views for specific use cases of your project boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
If not organized properly, can become tough to manage. Reporting capabilities are minimal and would really like to see them build great dashboards on performance
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team alignment on things we as a company need to be working on. Product Roadmaps, integration checklists. We manage our entire SCRUM process using Asana. The product's ease allows it to be shared seamlessly with anyone in the organization.
Very easy and intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
As mentioned in the title, Asana is a very easy to use and intuitive project manager. I've been using it for a little over 3 years and immediately found its interface easy and understandable. The cards themselves are well though out and very quickly get information to the user.
What do you dislike about the product?
Often, cards in Asana can be a bit of information overload and there doesn't seem to be a good way to mute all the excess. Admittedly, this can be dependent on who makes or adds to the card but an option to hide some of the info might good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana very quickly visually relays information about upcoming, due, and finished projects. A quick glance at my team board and I can tell what is coming up and how urgent projects are. I can also see very quickly who or what team the ask is coming from and see who I. might need to coordinate on any given task.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I use two different project managers in my role and find Asana hands down to be the better of the two. It's intuitive, easy, and very customizable. I can't really think of anything it could be doing better for my needs. If you are looking for a good project manager, you can't really do much better than Asana.
Asana is a solid Project management software
What do you like best about the product?
It is an easy to use the program, that you can collaborate with other team members in a time-effective way. To bring together teams across multiple platforms in order to get the job done completely and correctly the first time. I love that I can create as many tasks as needed and assign them to different people on the team. I can also make comments on tasks when I feel the completeness is lacking the quality I am looking for.

What do you dislike about the product?
There could be an easier view of who owns what tasks and create reminders as the project owner for those with tasks to do the tasks assigned to them. I know it is also had when not everyone is a part of this program. I think access should be on an account basis and can be used outside of the main organization especially when you have others in other organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Projects that have multiple teams involved need project software that gives the ability to list every task and assign it to the correct people. If you don't have this ability parts of a project can get lost in the confusion. Asana helps to bring those teams together and list out every task that needs to be completed and assigned.
Is it any harder in a time period to execute projects and activities
What do you like best about the product?
Asana provides improved intergroup coordination. Tasks and subtasks I can create. Asana also gives me the chance to assign my duties to my colleagues, helping to increase our team's productivity. My staff will be updated as to who performs the assignments and I will be able to track the assignments that have already done. Could assignment should be immediately tackled so that my team should work more effectively and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
In reality, I would prefer Asana to be more interactive; the main page is full of information that is of little interest to me much of the time, as I concentrate more on tasks and schedules, so I'd rather see the tasks explicitly reflected on my main page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The manner in which we allocate work, which is the work of each person with Asana, is one of our key problems. Apart from the company, we should fix this issue. Now it is more clear and structured.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When I do this, we work even more successfully and efficiently in the workplace, with Asana's help it is smoother because we run as a cohesive unit because now we do it, we work as one person.
Powerful task management platform
What do you like best about the product?
This is a great application for collaborated team works, which helps you in managing your dash boards and calendar according your needs. Once you have added a certain task calendar will helps you remind again and again you do not have to worry about memorizing the load. Asana will mark all those projects which get completes with time. It makes you feel as you are a winner and this is something special for keeping the morale high.

Since I have been using its services I do not have to face any difficulty with its features or functions. I like the way it is going. Asana has given us wide platform form collaboration and we are taking great benefits from its functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You can upload your files through Google drive and maintain your record. This has prevented the time you spend on finding the documents from various apps. With Asana you will be easily notify about your daily task, if once you had assign the date and task to your team. In this way every one will knew about their progress, your actions and in actions.

Asana is a very user friendly app you can install it on your mobile and can use it from entire world. I will recommend you to try it once and you won’t get disappointed. It is very low in pricing and along with free trail you have a premium version for practice, so I will highly suggest you to use.
A software created to manage projects, and capable of coordinating large projects
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to visually see where we will be in the process of planning a project. This software has a clean interface with shortcut functions, and it includes some customization features through templates. Asana helps me manage projects and stay up to date with project management and coordination. This software is easy to use, its system is very comprehensive, allowing you to execute projects in the fastest way. This project management has become a very important task for companies. Asana offers me a variety of templates, which design and optimize each project being developed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite its importance, Asana's handling on mobile phones is somewhat slow and does not have the necessary management for creating or slightly editing projects. This application should have more opportunities like the web version does. Asana does not work well with company payments and does not offer automatic payments, only manual ones, which has affected it a bit. Asana does not have simple screen functions, which means that users of this application cannot chat and post things so that we can make quick announcements. The subtask screens are not very good, and I cannot see the dates or times of my previous tasks, and sometimes my completed tasks are not on the exact date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me manage project tasks more effectively, it helps my team be more effective. This application helps me visually verify tasks and feasible excesses.

Some of the project management applications are easy to use and allow you to personally manage my own work.
Help your sales team keep track of workload
What do you like best about the product?
I use this tool for helping SDRs keep track of what tasks they need to get done, and what they should be doing for the week. It is easy to get notifications and see when, and by who, things are completed, so that you can check on them and verify completion. It overall helps our team stay connected, not forget about things, and keep unnecessary tasks, projects out of email organization. Drag and drop is easy.

The interface is not very visual. There is a lot of text.
