The Best Task Management System

What do you like best about the product?
We use Asana as our internal task management system, and it's straightforward to navigate and understand for the user. There are great features like the list that show exactly what is due that day, so a deadline never slips.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything particular about Asana that I do not like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deadlines weren't getting met internally and this is a great tool to keep our company on track and keep our clients happy.

Asana: The Zen Approach to Productivity and Work Management

What do you like best about the product?
I love how it keeps me focused on work, not on email, other apps, or other tools. I just get stuff done. It's easy to input tasks into Asana and it's easy to track the completeness of them. Also, it's awesome that I get to use the project management aspects of Asana to work on blog posts, email campaigns, social media management, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's very little not to like, but I don't like that you might need to create many workspaces for multiple teams. My goal is to stay focused on work and toggling back and forth between different organizations can be a struggle and take you out of the flow of work, but if you're intentional about your time, you can get over that easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have to constantly check email and other apps to stay productive. I currently handle client work through my business, personal tasks, and client acquisition. This includes all aspects of lead generation, proposal writing, contract origination, execution, and then the work to execute on those terms. Internally, it helps me stay on top of my own marketing campaigns on social media, email marketing, content creation, marketing, and podcasting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are someone who has to juggle a lot of tasks and projects and personal items, Asana would be perfect for you. I'm a solopreneur and work with clients and other colleagues, so Asana helps me with everything I need. I know it can help you too.

Best Project Management and Collaboration Tool

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use, flexibility, tools, and the collaboration function. It makes working virtually or in the office an easy task. I can easily assign, update, and create tasks with the stroke of a key. It is very user-friendly and there is not a long learning curve when I am introducting new staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't anything that I dislike about Asana. It is my go to source.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem that I am tackling is the ability to pull my team together virtually. Asana makes this task easier. I only have to use Asana and not have to have add-ons or anything else to get it to work the way it should. That takes away a lot of frustration.

Excellent for all your tasks and projects

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is supported by chat and E-mail / Help Desk and can be implemented using Mac, Windows, Android, iPad and iPhone. It has a series of functions such as live chat, comments and notes, debates and forums, with an intuitive panel of activities, task scheduling and allows you to keep track of all your projects.
Asana allows you to create projects, create tasks and subtasks for those projects, it has a Kanban board, Gantt view, activity reminder, calendar synchronization, among other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that can displease me, excellent work tools, from chat to project creation, Asana is software that works perfectly, and you can use it from anywhere and on any mobile or portable device. Apart from each project you can add its due date so that you are more organized, and it also notifies you if a project ends.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now I don't need emails to be able to send jobs, with asana apart from improving the organization and being more efficient, you can keep track of all your activities, the process of each task, budgets and cost estimates, bar diagram, creation of reports and statistics and has customizable forms.
Asana is the best tool for managing all your jobs and projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want a better organization asana is the one, its interface is excellent and intuitive, its tools work very well.

No free and native time traking service.

Project management. Great for collaboration and communication about tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very simple to use and it is easy to scale it in a team

None, everything works well for us, it would be great if asana would be cheaper

We track all tasks all tasks and project, hold lots of data which is easy to find and see the history

What do you like best about the product?
There are lots of workflow management tools, but Asana trumps them all. Easy to use, can convert a list to a kanban board and Gantt charts and back again, plus handles depth better than any other tool. You never plan to need a sub task to a sub task, but it happens and it's great to have when you do.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only critique is it can be hard to determine the pricing plan on a live site and the role free users can play in an organisation, etc. You get scared to add users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're a consulting group. We manage client projects through a shared Asana, we manage our own WIP in Asana, and we use it as the home for tasks that are working on the business as well.

Making sure nothing falls by the wayside

What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps me organize and visualize any sort of project that I may be working on. I love color coding, teams, report building, custom fields. Probably my favorite thing is my inbox - I couldn't get through a workday without it. And I love Asana Academy - I couldn't have learned the program so well nor have shared that knowledge with my team without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that subtasks could be added to multiple projects. I feel that the reports feature could be better - it is difficult to pull a report from both tasks and subtasks and present it to my team in a way they understand. I have found every integration that I've used between Asana and other programs to be lacking, especially Slack and Outlook, and feel if more time were devoted there integrations could truly make work more efficient. I find messages within projects to be the most underutilized part of the program with every team I work with and think Asana could benefit greatly from an internal instant messaging system. A big hassle is that annually repeated tasks regularly repopulate to an incorrect date, which means all of these tasks need to be set to a new date manually. My team uses Asana so extensively that it's very easy to lose track of a task or comment that I'm not actively a part of - some kind of bookmarking feature would be very beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As far as benefits, I can't even count them. I'm amazed how much I can share with different people or teams across different projects. It makes it simple to bring in third parties who only need access to certain tasks. Asana has made our hiring process more streamlined, our Marketing more efficient, and Operations easier to track. Over the past two years my team has began preparing for all meetings in Asana and creating an agenda that anyone can add to has made meeting time the most productive it's ever been.
