The only way to keep my brain straight!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how each task removes ambiguity. What needs to happen, who's gonna do it, and by when.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could have different boards have different backgrounds. There's truly not much I don't dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prioritizing! By having all my tasks in one place from multiple projects and when they are due, I am better able to see through the weeds and get things done.
Collaboration & Project Management Task Organization
What do you like best about the product?
This product allows me to manage Projects with my entire company as well as assign tasks to specific people and then create teams so that everyone is on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email notifications for this app could be improved but you just have to sit down and set them up properly and you're good to go.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to organize projects by their status and therefore moves more efficiently through the pipeline. We are also accountable for our due dates and tasks within the projects. The benefits that we have gained from this include faster production time, better customer reviews, higher return on investments, and an overall happier team vibe.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would suggest that everyone give this a try if they are looking for a place where your team can collaborate, communicate and organize tasks in an efficient way.
An easy and powerful way to manage my workflow
What do you like best about the product?
I love Asana's simple yet advanced system that allows you to collaborate with others and track tasks that need to get done. It is amazing for teams and individuals. Also, the daily emails it sends with tasks that I need to accomplish for that day are awesome. Oh, I cannot forget to mention the awesome celebrations it does when you complete a task.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish when I completed a task, it would auto-move it for me to do or delete it instead of manually doing it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I would not get anything done without asana. It has helped me increase my sales and stay on top of all my tasks. My boss says he loves how on top of everything I am and that is due to Asana.
Great tool to manage tasks with my time
What do you like best about the product?
As a company that helps many different clients, it's great to organize our tasks into other clients and inside each client into various projects. I can give access to just the people working with that client, so they don't become flooded with unnecessary information. We can also report weekly on each person's progress and note past due and completed tasks within a time frame. Adding collaborators helps other people receive notifications on jobs they aren't working on but need to follow the progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything yet I do not dislike about it. I have used both the free version and paid version, and both are sufficient in managing projects!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We manage the tasks needed to fulfill on client projects successfully. We also report on those tasks to be sure our workers are completing their assignments in a timely fashion. It gives excellent overall visibility into our project managment.
Quick and Easy Task Management
What do you like best about the product?
Quick setup of each to-do card creates ease of use with assigning multiple tasks to many people on a team. You can create deadlines and mark them off as completed so knowing when a project is ready for the next task to be completed and by whom.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not came across anything that I do not like at this point after three years of use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved many problems with Asana. The most beneficial was the workflow management.
Great product, helps us stay on task and organized
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Asana is being able to communicate with team members about the status of a project and keep track of what each team member is currently working on for a collaborative project.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the upload limit for files was higher, some files we have to upload through Google Drive or Dropbox and then add it to Asana rather than just uploading an item directly to a task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Asana, we had no way to keep track of tasks. Individual team members had their own personal to-do list, but it's been a great benefit to have everyone's tasks in the same place and communicate on group projects. It's also nice for managers to be able to keep track of employee's progress and what they are working on.
Puts Everything You Need in One Place
What do you like best about the product?
It organizes all collaborators and tasks in one easy-to-follow and easy-to-find place.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get TOO deep with sub-tasks and sub-assignments. Sometimes, simplicity is a virtue.

It keeps our team better organized and everybody on the same page.
Great Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I find that Asana simplifies a lot of the project management tasks that my team and I are working on at any given time. It allows for quick, easy, and clear reporting, communication, and now metrics so that we can track our productivity as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see multiple assignees; while the limit to one assignee per task is understandable, having the ability to tag a collaborator or someone from another department who needs to sign off on an aspect of a ticket or project stage—without the need to create a custom rule—would be beneficial. At the very least, the ability to turn this feature on for more advanced users instead of throttling across the board would be excellent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to standardize a great deal of my department's workflow through Asana by creating rules (built-in automation) and utilizing integration with our other software—primarily Slack. This means we can track a great deal of our spending, and we're able to identify bottlenecks, create SLAs, and track spending.
Best collaboration tool for remote teams!
What do you like best about the product?
I think Asana is amazing for organizing all the tasks by projects, and communicating within the team on status and progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
I only wish I could see a combined to-do list across workspaces - since I use Asana not only for work, but also fro my personal life and my side hustle start up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is our central source of truth. Everything is linked there, so we all know what versions of files are current, and we all know what needs to happen next to stay on track with goals and initiatives.
Asana has been a game changer for me in the cloud accounting space
What do you like best about the product?
Great collaboration tool across the entire team and on multiple projects. Can even invite third parties and clients into the collaboration space. Amazing app on phone.

Integration with outlook calendar works but could be better

Solving collaboration and efficiency gaps when working with team members across the country. Productive enhancer. Everyone knows what the status of projects and tasks are. Great for recurring reminders etc
