Great for staying organized!
What do you like best about the product?
One of my favorite things about Asana this past month, has been the organization it has created to my workflow. I am constantly able to see when things are due, what needs to happen first, second, third, etc. It has allowed me to stay MUCH more organized when I am collaborating with coworkers with the way it is set up. If you are looking to get or stay organized, Asana is for you!
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside, that may not be a downside for all people, is that you receive a lot of emails. I know that you can unsubscribe to these, but I still want some of them. I guess my request for this is that I will be able to receive only a limited number of emails, without canceling them completely. I will say, the emails giving reminders to complete tasks, are quite helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Asana, I have stayed on top of my work like never before. I know what needs to be done, for and from each department. I really have realized how much time I have been saving, because Asana figures out what I need to do for me! Without me sitting around, trying to recall what tasks need to be completed, I can just look at my workflow.
Virtual Checklist - Remote Team BFF
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it's a virtual check list that a larger team and collaborate on. It's extremely useful to stay on target and hold everyone accountable! It's deadline function is key, that way you can close the loop on any upcoming projects and ensure completion. The assignment feature is great too so there is clear expectations set as to who is responsible for each tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of moving parts for something that is so easy to use. A bit cluttered! I was super anxious to learn the platform, but now that I understand -- it's not so bad. I felt extremely overwhelmed when learning the platform. But it's all about how you decide to train, and define the program to beginners. There's definitely a lower level and higher level way of explaining its functions and you have to have the discertion as to who needs what training, and how detailed it needs to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps keep everyone on task. Especially with a team being fully remote, it aids in collaboration and teamwork. Which is vital for a remote atmosphere!! I also think, within a startup atmosphere, it helps with fluidity and exposure to the team so they understand company direction.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to implement this not only to high level employees -- lower level can benefit greatly from this application! So allow management, and entry level, employees to utilize this. It'll create a greater sense of unity!

Easy to use, highly intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive the controls are and the modular interface. I also love the colorful animations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I were able to customize the colors and themes fully. I am also not a fan of the email which allows me to like a comment, because it does so by opening another window. I would it recognize the tab I have open or not offer that functionality at all - I don't need 15+ tabs open for the same app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great for project management - particularly handling multiple deadlines across several projects. There is also a great deal of transparency regarding ownership of each task.

I like the multiple visualization tools!

The color-coding was a bit cumbersome at first, I feel like it is a bit of a workaround.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are organizing our projects much better. We are also able to communicate with stakeholders in a much better way.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend that you watch a few videos to take full advantage of this feature-rich product.
Really nice project management with lots of integration opportunity
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is very user-friendly and can be integrated with lots of different apps and sites. I mostly used it with slack, which was awesome. It's easy to get the hang of what you're doing from the get-go. The interface lets you see all of your projects at once, which I love.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any complaints about Asana; it was great to use when I was with a company with access to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was great to use for both personal and professional project management. It's easy to assign tasks, check the status of things, and tag people when they need to see anything.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is great for a small team with many different groups or projects to manage all at once. It's much more organized than some of the other programs I've used in the past.
User-friendly time-saver for me and my colleagues
What do you like best about the product?
Communication, attaching drafts and deliverables, easy to delegate, less clutter in email, cute rewards when you complete a task or sub task. We haven't rolled this out to the whole team yet, but those of us who have been using/testing it think favorably of it!
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up projects can be a little intimidating, but you can copy from other projects and the help guides are very clear

Asana is helping us track different steps of large, months-long projects, and keeping us accountable

I use this app with one of my clients, and it makes it so easy for him to assign tasks and for me to see everything that i need to do!!

There isn't anything that I dislike about the app! It is very user-friendly!!

Before Asana, my client would text me a list of to-dos, and I would often forget to write them down and then lose track of them. With Asana, I can check the app to see what needs to be done and communicate the progress of each task directly with him!

Honestly it's the best,I have no dislike towards it.

With it you can easily set up multiple projects and as well assign team to various projects at the same time.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked the simplicity, it covers the basic needs of your daily task management with your team.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is absolutely nothing to dislike about it, however, it just gets logged out by itself, which gets annoying sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a Social Media Manager, so I need to assign tasks to my teammates a month prior and Asana helps me easily achieve it, I can upload the media and everything in a single place and set deadlines accordingly. No more use of E-mail.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is one of these apps that takes 5 minutes to start with, hides complexity but for every feature you think "I wonder if it can do X", it always does.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way it links domains and accounts into one automatic system without full control of a CTO.
