Easily manage the workflow
What do you like best about the product?
We can't think of any other tool which helps to manage the workflow easily. We use Asana to track every single project of our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish if there is a way to limit each user's view, menu, and features, Also better if the new user onboarding process is much more interactive than the current.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana to manage our workflow, as well as to track what's going on with the company.

Asana is one of the best tool if you are planning to make your company staff much more efficient.

it would get messy and too busy with more than 10 ppl and a large project

What do you like best about the product?
The graphics were great and very tongue-in-cheek. Checking off tasks was also quite pleasant!
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating subtasks or doing anything OTHER than creating tasks required training and mostly a lot of Googling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating on research and writing policy briefs, ensuring everyone is being held accountable and on track with their tasks.
Great task tracker for startup teams
What do you like best about the product?
The project management of task is very streamlined and reliable. We love the ease of commenting inside tasks and the ease of adding in attachments to those tasks. The organization of tasks in the list view help provide us a quick glance at where we're at with each project.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much we dislike about Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project tracking and management. We've realized the need for more organization as our company continued to grow, Asana made it easier to better track all projects as our workload increased.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to duplicate checklists! My team uses a generic checklist that we then customize to fit a specific project, but it's great not to have to start from scratch
What do you dislike about the product?
Calendar view is overwhelming. We have too many tasks due across a specific week (instead of having a specific date as a deadline). So in calendar view, there is too much going on. It's be nice to be able to exclude certain projects/tasks from calendar view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that my team solves is not letting tasks fall through the cracks. Each project has so many minute details to complete, and even those that know the process in-and-out can forget them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your team has trouble keeping track of multiple tasks for projects, then Asana is a great time-management and task-management tool

What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana because it has many work areas that make automation and other projects more versatile.
What I like the most is that these projects can be manipulated or modified by those who are part of the group in ASANA. I loved that idea because it allows everyone to bring their ideas.

Sometimes I find it somewhat complicated to understand the modifications of the other members, it would be good, for example:
three members in the group, there should be three copies of the same project to know the changes each one has made

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have coworkers in different parts of the country and we work on the same project, it has helped us collaborate with each other in the development of our project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend this program or software because if you work with several colleagues on the same project and are at a distance, this program will help you communicate very well regarding the changes made by each group member.

Project Management Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can share projects with the individuals who are a part of it, but more specifically that you can hold people accountable. It is also very clear to see what your tasks are and you can set it up by the deadline. Easy to communicate with people on a project. Also, the ability to be able to upload documents to share with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know that we have found a downside to Asana just yet. At first, my supervisor was very hesitant to use it because she didn't want us to use another system to be able to manage the project, but then after using it and showing her how effective it was she quickly changed her mind.
Actually, one thing that I don't like is that Asana doesn't auto-populate tasks by deadline. I wish that it would individually sort itself by the deadline date. I don't think that it is efficient in having to move every task yourself.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accountability was something that my team was struggling with, but now that we have been using Asana, you can see who was suppose to what and by when. This way people are pointing fingers and it is clear whose responsibility it was. Aside from that, I am not always in the office so being able to communicate with my staff on a specific project is amazing!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have multiple projects to manage and want to hold people accountable then this is the perfect system for you and your team.
Great for marketing project management
What do you like best about the product?
Team calendar function enables everyone to see project timelines and the amount of work load carried by every member of the team. Ability to visualize commitments within the month and see overlapping projects, easily navigate to project details and attached files is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to assign multiple owners to the project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps our marketing team have a single view of all projects and commitments within a time period, manage complex projects to completion and assign tasks to team members. It also helps us collaborate with agencies and people outside of the team, managing projects and assignments as an expanded groupl
