Great task management tool

  • January 27, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Asana everyday. It makes managing my tasks so much easier. It's a really intuitive and easy to use tool. It allows you to prioritize your tasks and keep track of everything that's happening. It's useful especially when several people are working on one single task, everybody can comment and you can assign the task to someone who can then assign it to you when he's done.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say there is anything I dislike. It's easy and useful. There are some features I don't use but what I used so far has been great and working perfectly well, so no problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basically it's just saving a lot of time in terms of task management. When I open Asana, I know exactly what I have to do, by when and I see where we're at already and who's done what so far. It's easy to just comment what you've done, give the task to someone else while still being notified of any changes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's really easy, there is nothing much to recommend, when you start using it you'll see how easy it is to manage all of your projects and tasks from the interface. You can easily give a task to someone, comment on other people's tasks, give a due date to a task and much more. You have a clear view of what you have to do and the priorities. It's that simple!

Building group projects as a unit in real time.

  • January 27, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Managing group tasks was always affected when doing it remotely or when there was a lack of communication between group members. Asana seeks to eradicate this gap by making it possible to edit these tasks or projects, make comments and everything related to them, sending notifications of these modifications to the members of this working group.
What do you dislike about the product?
On a visual level, it presents few options when a person wants to personalize their workspace, making them feel that space is a bit alien to them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps the team leader to have an overview of the progress made by the work group in real time. It makes the allocation of projects to be done within the established time parameters, since it really helps the work to be done more quickly and efficiently, integrating the different points or work fronts of each of its users as a whole, increasing the productivity of this group.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ideal tool to facilitate the realization of a wide range of projects, providing a truly effective working mode.

Asana as an essential tool to manage and collaborate

  • January 19, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana handles very good collaboration tools. Each member of the team is able to receive updates in real time and without any delay as each task is developed. It also allows the sending of messages within the same platform with its integrated chat. The integrations with Google and Slack are incredible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes some tasks cannot be found and have to be closed and logged out so that they can appear and it makes us particularly lose time. You have to find a way to prioritize some projects and Asana doesn't allow you to mark them. The free version limits the process a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has allowed us to provide guidance within the program itself. We improve the individual follow-up of both temporary and long-term projects. We were able to track many applications that we gave as lost.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is an excellent idea when it comes to direct project management. We have many advanced tools to manage such projects. Finally, it has integration with Gantt charts which makes it very complete as a program, even if it is sometimes required to pay.

Best thing to happen in 2020

  • January 15, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana lets you create tasks that you are currently working on, and all your team members are able to see what you are working on. This platform worked so well for our SEO team because we have so many tasks to complete that it was hard to keep track of them all. Asana had came to the rescue and organized our team. We have different subjects tasks that are the main "favorites" and then we organized our tasks into columns with wording like "to do", or "in progress". It helps us understand where we currently are with projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike about Asana. It is a very great platform to use for a marketing/seo team. The Seo team at our company benefited so much from Asana that the Marketing Team joined in on the platform as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Asana we are able to solve a lot of back end problems with our site. We are able to quickly jot down something that we need to fix within seconds and then it's easy for the whole team to remember what needs to be done. The benefits are also adding "collaborators" because then everyone is notified when a new task is created and who is assigned to what. Have a In-progress column also is a great reminder to what work you need to complete and if you are running out of time for your deadline lets say.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get your whole department to use Asana, you will not regret it!

What do you like best about the product?
I LOVE checking those tasks off. It's super organized and being able to sort by project is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it costs $ after a certain number of members and certain add-ons cost extra. But the free version is quite nice too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management is solved! It's so much easier to make a to-do list and stay organized using Asana.

Creates Accountability and Transparency

  • January 11, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Asana allows me to edit projects assigned to me by my Manager, as there are times when priorities change throughout the day. It allows me to update my Manager about shifting priorities without having to reach out anytime a change happens with projects. I also like Asana because it gives me the ability to plan out my day and ensure that no project goes unnoticed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The look of Asana can be overwhelming and slightly difficult to understand in the beginning but as time goes on, it gets easier. Based on my experience Asana tries to eliminate the confusion by having a crash course for navigation and actions when signing in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping to create project accountability and transparency within our team. It is a great tool to ensure that I am completing projects assigned by my Manager.

One of the best project/task management tool for startup

What do you like best about the product?
Easy interface. Even provide insights on tasks and projects when completing it. Good for collaboration within huge team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its price is costly for startup where there's less capital to invest in a project/process management tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped our organisation develop the project management system dramatically. Many of our projects have multiple complicated phases, but teamwork makes mapping and management simple.

Comprehensive Project Organization Platform

  • January 04, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana's many views, tags, and fields for project organization put it at the top of my list for project management software. I love using the calendar view for a social media calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the interface was more customizable with better color schemes and backgrounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem I solve is being able to see a month's worth of content and having that data available to compare to previous months, and even year-to-year. Overall it's improved my social media calendar and content strategy tenfold.
