A Multi-collaboration tool that helps keeps teams and a company connected!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is such a useful tool to have, especially if your team has become fully remote. I like Asana because you can manage tasks and different projects across multiple departments and teams. It keeps track of who is responsible for each task and provides clear stages within a task and due dates. You can collaborate on so many projects with just this one tool but even better than that is it integrates with so many other products. Products like Slack, Hubspot, Google Chrome!
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I do not like about Asana is that I find it is not suitable for small teams or single projects. Because of its too many features and options, it can become too overwhelming for a very basic project that doesn’t need all these features. I tend to get decision fatigue when attempting to use it individually or for a small project and often do not use all of the tools it is capable of. Another dislike is that tasks can only be assigned to one person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company and team are able to solve many problems by using Asana. We have been utilizing this product for our OKRs and tracking tasks for the tasks needed to complete them. It is so nice to see it laid out in a format where I know who is working on what and when it is due. Plus we can all share ideas in a centralized place that can be referenced in the future. Especially since my company has moved to fully remote for now, this product helps all of our teams connected. They are always adding new features and updates which is nice!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend if you need a system that is easy to use and somewhere you want to track or collaborate on projects. This is the platform to use! We use Asana for a ton of projects on a individual team and internal company basis. We currently started using the new goals feature to help track our quarterly OKRs and it is making it easier to stay on track and know who is working on what.
One of the best tools for project management in the World.

Asana is a powerful tool for team collaboration but to get started with it is a bit difficult.

We had no problem with the platform, really very good service.

The best thing is that you can save a lot of time, because in addition to being very easy, it is really effective, it is a true support for the work team, it has a very comfortable interface, and the daily update is really excellent.

Great Application for Inter-Team, Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Great Application for Inter-Team, Collaboration. We love the feature wherein we can have different sections for different aspects of a sale. There can be various people assigned to a particular task and get real time update on the progress
What do you dislike about the product?
The application works fine on the website however it is a little slow on the application on the handheld device. Images take time to load and there seems to be latency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved various problems with the app as in have multiple people know real time progress of a task. The calendars are very detailed and have solved availability issues on a larger scale.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great Application for Inter Team Usage
It works well for a small group!
What do you like best about the product?
Compared to Wrike I'd say even the free version has most of the functionality we need. I use Wrike in one area of life and Asana in another. I've used Asana for ~5 years and it has never let me down.
What do you dislike about the product?
They've made minor UI tweaks over the years and from time to time adding a task or moving them around has become more difficult. I'd say they've finally got it just right and it works well for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The 10 or so of us who use Asana are all volunteers and we meet only a few times per month. Asana is incredibly helpful in track assignments and recording discussion items. While I've tried to encourage more participation in comments on tasks, this has yet to materialize.
Asana: Essential for WFH!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is so essential for my work-from-home marketing job. I am able to look at all of my tasks in a list and manage my time in a smart way. And if you don't want to see your tasks in a list, you can look at like a calendar and plan your tasks accordingly.
I love the way you can add collaborators to certain tasks and it makes working on group projects so easy while not being in an office together. And of course-- a review of Asana would not be complete without mentioning the fun unicorn that leaps across your screen when you comlete a task!

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes finding the answer to a problem is hard to find. For example, I don't want my inbox filled with messages about tasks being due because I use Asana all day every day for my task management. Every day I wake up to find "You have a task due today" and I still have not been able to figure out WHY I can't disable that feature?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Asana as a marketing coordinator and it makes my task management so much easier. I am able to see tasks assigned to me and keep track of how my peers are completing their tasks too.
Strongest, most-robust and easy-to-use task management software. Ever!
What do you like best about the product?
I seriously love everything about Asana! I manage events for a living. Whether in person, virtual or hybrid, I can always count on Asana projects, tasks and every other feature it offers to keep me productive and meeting deadlines! Not only am I organized, but my colleagues and student workers are, too! We all know exactly what needs to be done by when.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like about Asana is that recently created tasks that are assigned a due date of "Today" don't automatically move to the "Today" list view. It seems that this automation should be a no brainer, but I'm assuming their must be a reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wrapping my mind around nearly every detail for events by transposing them into tasks within a bigger project/event. This has also translated to my team. No longer do they ask for as much direction since I can create tasks for them in Asana, provide a description/directive for the task and even attach important documents.
Offers great flexibility for building out projects
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part about Asana is the flexibility in the interface. I've used Trello and Basecamp in the past, and I love that Asana takes elements of those two project management applications and combines them for the ultimate flexibility for users. Sometimes I prefer seeing my project as a board/in tiles, so I can drag tasks that are done across the screen. Other times, when the project has fewer steps or involves less people, I like that a project can be viewed as a list or timeline. That adaptability is helpful for users who have different ways of visualizing work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything that I dislike about Asana at this point. My biggest complaint is that I wish the "project details" showed up more prominently when you're looking at project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to work with freelancers and our internal staff on projects that are complicated and multi-process, spanning multiple months. In terms of benefits, it's allowed us to quickly determine where we are on certain pieces and figure out the next steps that are needed to move a task over the finish line.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Because Asana has many different features for customization, I would recommend diving into a short tutorial about the product to make sure you're using it in the best/easiest way possible for your work.
Asana is more than just assigning task in boards
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using asana for almost 6 months and I must say that it is the best tool available online, for not just listing and assigning tasks but to have a bird's-eye view of the complete project.
I m more comfortable with checklists view. I like the feeling of completing the task rather then visually moving the card into different board. Also the UI is really good :)

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Price - It is a very good tool for a small team. You don't have to pay a dime to use almost 80-90% of the features. But if you'd have a larger team (more than 15 members), you have to buy the subscription. The cost of $99 per month per user can actually add up really quickly to a big amount
2. Gantt chart feature - The gantt chart feature is not free but locked behind the paywalls. So if you're someone who'd like using gantt charts, you've to pay $10 per month per user. But it is pretty obvious why they've done that.
3. Communication - In asana you can mention people and directly talk about project and task right at the project/task which is really good. But the downside to this is really easy to loose track of the focus conversation, especially when you've already marked the task complete

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. With Asana it is easy to enlist and plan our project and strategised it for future references
2. You can easily visualise the progress of the task and obstacles in between
3. Integration of other tools with asana makes life easy
4. Before clocking out when you tick mark all the task done in calendar gives a very positive vibe.

Keeping Tasks on Task
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a great project management tool when you are working with internal and external vendors. I love that I can put all my event tasks into one place, assign staff/vendors, keep track of status and then the next year, copy over the tasks and edit. Saves so much time!
What do you dislike about the product?
That we don't pay for the bigger program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping tasks in one place. You never know when someone will leave their job or win the lottery. Makes it much easier for the remaining team to job in and continue the job.
