Good for personal and team use
What do you like best about the product?
This platform is so versatile and easy to use I love it. I personally use it every single day, even on the weekends as my complete to-do list, for personal and professional use. I can also use it with my teams to manage larger projects, one on one agendas, and team communications. We also utilize the boards layout for almost every contractor we work with to track their progress on specific projects from "submitted>in review>In progress>for review>complete" which is extremely useful. I've created projects and added members of my team who have never been on the platform and they are easily able to hop on and understand the platform. Its simplicity is its value.
What do you dislike about the product?
I could probably adjust this settings, but on some projects I am a member of, I receive an email for every single change, which can be a lot, but it hasn't bothered me enough to date for me to actual research changing that...I'm literally reaching for something to dislike, if that tells you anything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to track team projects, contractor work, and persona todo lists with Asana, and have realized an increase in documentation around projects which allows us to easily hop in if someone leaves the company or is on vacation and be able to move forward with any projects easily. The ability for us to have a centralized location to document every 1 on 1, project, and to do list has been invaluable to our team and I would highly recommend anyone to check it out.
I use Asana for reminders and to stay organized with my day-to-day tasks
What do you like best about the product?
I like how the UX is designed -- it's clean but fun as well as easy to customize and modify. It makes it easy to create repeating tasks and add small reminders of things that are worth writing down or putting on my iCal. I've been using Asana for years to keep me on task and to add transparency with my team. I also use it for personal reminders that don't need to be on my work calendar. I also enjoy the graphics that show when a task is completed -- it's a small touch that is pleasing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't really anything I dislike about it. Perhaps it could sync more seamlessly to email or a calendar, but that's not a huge concern of mine, personally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Asana, I'm solving the problem of having to write down or put in my iCal small reminders or repeating tasks that I may forget to include elsewhere. It's easy to add a task as well as a description, details, or a URL for quick reference.
Easy to use and manage your projects

Is really good to follow your schedule and never forget an assignment or when is due. It has daily notificacions an shows you the progress made in your gruop projects. Also helps with managing a big group and been able to keep track with everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
It´s stressfull when you keep getting notifications about a certain assigment that you already mark as done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was more productive because all my assigments where done by time it should.

What do you dislike about the product?
it can be time-consuming to create tasks and subtasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me see what are my tasks and the due dates so I can organize my day and week.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
it's a great tool for collaboration and visibility among teams
This is hands down the best all around project and goal management system I've ever come across.
What do you like best about the product?
It's so clean, easy to configure, and responsive. Everything from personal task lists, to cross-functional enterprise initiatives can be monitored and tracked. The level of integration with leading SaaS vendors is world class.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Gmail and Outlook plugins need some SERIOUS love. Make no mistake, 99% of the horsepower comes from inside Asana. But the ability to port over email communications is probably the biggest hurdle to get new users to seriously buy into the tool as a critical system, eventually even killing off internal emails. They need to continue to A/B test the best ways to deploy and enhance this plugin across desktop and mobile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not even sure where to begin. The basic ones are easy: Personal task and project management. The intermediate ones are more reasonable: Delegating and monitoring tasks to interns and direct reports.
At an enterprise level, it's using the rules engine and workload assets to get leadership to buy into this tool as THE way forward for all milestone and progress tracking. This comes with retiring office files and emails as the preferred form of data transfer.
The long term pipe dream is to use the Asana framework to begin hardcoding automated content, process, and cross functional approval processes.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
The enterprise project management space is close to reaching feature and and function parity. It sounds cliche, but at this stage, you should seriously lean into the companies with staying power, enterprise customers, and highly rated customer support. Asana leads in virtually every imaginable category.
Asana makes project management easy
What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes project management super easy. Create a project, break the project down into tasks and assign each task to a team member, set a due date and you're done. If needed you can break each task further down into sub-tasks. Now all deliverables are being tracked, project progress is easy to monitor and all team members know exactly what is expected from them. Setting due dates is key so you receive reminders in your mailbox.
From there you can go into more complex project management: set priorities, program and portfolio management, use custom tags to group tasks, link or chain tasks timelines, ...

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of honestly. Asana is a great fit for our office but I imagine if you need more detailed project management that can also track resources and time tracking (how much time was spent on a task) then Asana won't cut it.
It can be a bit daunting at first when understanding how many features are available in Asana but this can easily be solved by starting with using the basic functionality and as you get to understand the product start using more features.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Asana we did not have any type of project management. Using excel sheets is cumbersome and one person is in charge of keeping the excel sheet up to date. With Asana all team members can contribute, create tasks, mark tasks as complete. One of the benefits I realized is it increased our team cohesiveness as more and more team collaboration took place.
Asana for project management
What do you like best about the product?
Its layout, ease of use and has a great APP. You can reorganize and re-prioritize tasks on-the-fly which makes assigning daily priorities easy and visual for employees. Lets them know what to work on first. Also has a great way to add sub-tasks/list so you don't miss a step or detail in competing a project. You can easily drag-and-drop file to share also so you don't have to fish around for needed assets. It's free for small teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like it to have a CMS for contact management, other than that I love using Asana for our project management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solve the problem of loosing directions or tasks by keeping them organized and archived for reference. It allows me to manage the priorities of projects on a daily basis very easy, from their App in many cases when I'm out of the office. It's a super powered to-do list that help my and my company get things done. When you do get things done you get a little animated surprise too, neat!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it. It has a free version for small teams and is super easy to understand and use. The app also make management a breeze.
The best tool to coordinate your projects!
What do you like best about the product?
Since we started using Asana, it was much easier to organize all the projects, creating tasks and assigning them to the team members who had to carry them out. But not only that, but Asana also allows you to create sub-tasks or To-Do lists to complete each assignment, which makes the job easier.
Likewise, Asana also allows me to prioritize the different tasks to know which ones I should do first, efficiently, and quickly.
Its interface is also excellent, quite flexible, and friendly, and it is straightforward to use and visually attractive, which undoubtedly adds more advantages.
The ability to leave comments on tasks and tag other team members is also an advantage in using this tool, as it allows you to resolve any situation quickly. No doubt, Asana appeared to save our lives.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I have not liked about Asana; it is simple to use from the first moment; it offers us everything we need to organize projects and tasks, and much more. Perhaps the only point against it would be that the calendar is a little challenging to manage at first if you want to see the tasks completed, but it is not really serious and can be solved quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Asana, we used to send all work and assignments by email. This took time from having to compose each email individually and review all pending work daily.
It was also more challenging to keep track of the progress being made in real-time, but with Asana, these problems are a thing of the past.
Now we can assign all the tasks for the week, set the dates they must be completed, create subtasks, and assign each one to the corresponding team members. But not only that, as we can see the progress in real-time, and the development of each one of the projects, quickly and on a single platform.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need to organize the projects and tasks that your team manages, Asana is the best option for your company. You will be more than happy about using Asana with your team, as it's really easy to use and manage. You definitely won't regret it.
SIMPLIFIES COLLABORATIVE WORK AND MONITORING
What do you like best about the product?
Collaborative work and transparency, the whole team can see where you work, your progress and when you finish a task. It helps a lot to set dates, and deadlines for a project.
The labels in the tasks have proven to be very useful, in the case of a team that we manage a scrum board with many tasks at the team level.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that meetings cannot be generated from Asana, to save meetings or meeting notes in the same project.
It would be very useful if you can create meetings in Meet or zoom from Asana and have a template for meeting notes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization and monitoring, the automatic monitoring of Asana, helps me a lot to plan my day to day.
Other benefits are that tasks are never lost, it allows managing a large workflow for the entire team. Although I have not yet tried many features of the premium version.
