What do you like best about the product?
The timeline feature is absolutely beautiful, easy to use, and helpful

Asana doesn't work well for teams of all sizes, but it's a great in between point between Trello and Jira

Being able to visualize what we are on track what is pending, what we are late doing when managing a team.

Not that easy to involve software engineering team in the use of the software. They still prefer Jira.

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is pretty easy and responsive to my actions, the organization of My Tasks makes a lot of sense. There are a lot of additional features which I don't necessarily need but they seem to be out for the way for my usual workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many features in Asana and it's clear to me that people use it very differently because of that. It can be overwhelming if you're on a lot of teams and have a lot of different projects to coordinate. I wish notification options were more robust.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization of tasks, reminders of things I need to read or follow up on. It's helping declutter my mind and putting all my post-it notes in one place accessible on multiple devices.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is an effective way to manage your own tasks and assign them to the whole team
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana could stand to be integrated with Gcal, that would allow more accountability for tasks

Intuitive turn on/off for recurring tasks would be ideal.
Insanely Flexible and Customizable
What do you like best about the product?
Love the ability to view projects as either a Kanban-style board or as a sectioned checklist. It makes it very easy to ingest a lot of information quickly to be able to prioritize and tackle action items in a comprehensive manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are lots of integrations, but not a lot of functionality other than using them as alerts and to create new tasks. Would be love to check off an asana task that was linked to an email from that email view in gmail. Also would love to see a Google Calendar integration that would allow me to add tasks and project items to my google calendar and check them off from there as well as create tasks linked to meetings on my calendar as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking and remembering every single task that I should be aware of and/or am responsible for. Also not just cross-team collaboration, but cross-organizational collaboration by being able to assign tasks to others that are not in my org.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Establish best practices within your company for cross-team collaboration otherwise there is the potential for projects to be redundant and/or cluttered.

A lot going on in one screen. It would be nice to have a more simplified layout.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has given helped me in keeping track with various ongoing tasks and projects that I am a part of, the ability to add due dates and keep track of deadlines is very important in my line of work, I also use the mobile version of Asana which in return allows me to manage my tasks on the go and also receive notifications of when certain tasks are due based on what I set it as.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is a great platform that is a big part of my daily routine, although if I had to point out one small feature change, would be to implement an option where we "the user" could customize certains areas of the dashboard, as there are certain "unecessary" features that I personally do not require.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem I was trying to solve with Asana was to find a reliable and easy to utilize platform to manage my daily Tasks as well as ongoing Projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you struggle with managing tasks and projects, then you should probably experiement with Asana, you can sign up for a Free account and start managing your dues today, if later on you decide the platform is for you, you can upgrade for more functions

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to know what tasks need to be done for the day and what the due date for each task is. My team is able to comment on issues we are having on the tasks and everyone is able to see the process of what is happening.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn’t much that I disliked about this software

Being able to give tasks to team members and receiving tasks from them. And the clear picture of what needs to be completed for the day or week or month or for future projects

I am using Asana for my Software Engineering course. It has been very helpful for managing team assignments. Has an easy to use interface, can keep track of tasks easily and efficiently .
