Easy and simple to use task/project management
What do you like best about the product?
Sub categories for tasks, pictures, @ mentioning someone within and categorizing of importance and mobile
What do you dislike about the product?
pretty much the only thing so far, when you get started a little confusing on how to add in task vs overall project
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication, transparency and task / projects. nothing falls through the cracks, accountability

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to share with colleagues. It's also creative for view.
What do you dislike about the product?
The different category is hard to find. And the title is hard to write.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easy to manage a projet with Asana.

Simple, intuitive UI for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like the pin-board type UI. The integrated messaging feature by task is also nice - including the autologging when you reply by email.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes its difficult to filter out assignments by individual task assignees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team has a TON of projects going on at once. Some are quick turn, others are multi-month projects. Asana helps keep us on task for all of them.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to better organize into groups. I can tag but then i can't view everything open in clear buckets. I mean, i probably can with tags, but it's not intuitive and i dont spend a TON of time in it.

Tracking and managing tasks around development of our web/app products.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana because we use it as a living check list that makes it easy to keep track of things done at work and conclusions we drew from our research.

There is not much to dislike about Asana. The app could use improvement

We are solving biological research problems with Asana and using it as an organizational tool

- allows us to create timelines (work backwards from due dates) to launch campaigns
- easy to see where we've left off or where the ball has dropped in a project

- wish you could review/comment pdfs rather than just jpg
- wish you could upload documents and different users could make comments directly on it at the same time (similar to google docs)

What do you like best about the product?
This project management tool makes assigning tasks and responsibilities easy. You know exactly who is responsible for which task and when.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can’t assign multiple people to a task when sometimes more than one person is responsible
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deadlines were slipping and we needed to know why
Helpful for small team projects
What do you like best about the product?
I like the layout; I have used other project management softwares and they are oftentimes confusing and not clear on what project is past due, Asana has a very manageable layout.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that when you complete a task and you check it off your list it disappears; instead, I wish you could choose between archiving something and actually wanting to delete the task/subtask.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with a group that is in the office at different times so communicating about the status of a certain project can be difficult; Asana makes that easy with the tasks and subtask combination. Also being able to assign projects to people and attach all the relevant files that they need to complete the project is helpful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give your team small trainings on Asana; there are a lot of features that you don't realize when you initially start using it so make sure that you are utilizing their web resources to understand the full amount of resources that are available to you.

Licences aren’t too cheap compared to some alternatives

It's amazing at coordinating tasked to users.

The product is quite complex and while the ui is good feature bloat is a challenge.
