Asana is easy to use but also a lot of extra perks

Board view for sprints (Kanban board for scrum-style agile project mgmt)

Cleaning up Asana - when a large team has too many due dates all over the place, clean up can be annoying

What do you like best about the product?
The layouts make it easy to see what you are working on and what you have done. The unicorn when you complete a task is really fun.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I can't download it as an app to my computer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes working as part of a team easier, allowing us to assign and reassign tasks and to see where we are in a project.
With Asana project management will no longer be a problem.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Asana is that it is easy to use and allows you to edit content in real time and in collaboration. In addition, it integrates notifications, email, calendars and creation and assignment of tasks in the same panel. As if that were not enough, it perfectly combines the organization and management of the project with the tools of collaborative work. Another advantage of this software is that it provides access to projects from any place or device with an internet connection, which benefits the mobility of users.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of its main disadvantages is that it does not allow assigning tasks to two people, which makes collaborative work difficult for teams. If the user does not assign a task it does not have a person in charge, even if he himself has generated it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The use of Asana in our company has brought very satisfactory results because it offers many possibilities when optimizing project management. This software ensures that our collaborative work is easier, more efficient and more enjoyable because it gives us multiple tools integrated in a single work panel.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I suggest to other users the use of timelines in order to optimize the visualization and organization of the assignments of each project. This also allows prioritizing pending activities. I also recommend going to the technical support service in case of any doubt or inconvenience, usually the technicians provide quick and accurate solutions.
It helps us to manage work flow, organize tasks. We use it mostly for delegating.
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is clean simple and fluid. There is no waiting or load time on any pages, which I consider a very important requirement in any software, especially task management software.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no good solution from time tracking. No good hierarchy option for organizing tasks. Its not built with every day tasks in mind, its more focused on projects. but its simple interface makes it easily usable for any tasks you need. Chat is near real time, but not real-time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Asana helps us to prioritize projects and pending tasks. This is very useful in assigning to teams. Asana solved many problems where I worked as team, this software is truly useful for teams. It is suitable tool for companies to grow larger.

What do you like best about the product?
The best feature is being able to easily assign tasks and upload files. For my clients, each task may need several working documents per task. Their system keeps me organized, I loved the ease of all progress being on one central location. This really helped with switching association management platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The last thing that I like about this is only a minor grievance. From the home screen, the heading of the page is for Upcoming Tasks Due. While this is a great feature, I would also prefer a reminder of any tasks that are Overdue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You can break up tasks in the way that makes the most sense to you, a large project spread out on a Board, broken into tasks, or simply a running list of tasks you need to do that day. Each job has a dedicated chat that also allows for clear communication that is identifiable per job. Communication capability is on point

Asana is beautiful, easy to use, and feature-rich. It makes it easy for me to manage myself and my team deadlines, projects, priority levels, automation, everything is easier.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has become the largest business solution in these times, because its autonomy of work, allows each user to establish a group collaboration for each project development. I believe that this platform is complete enough to provide a stable stay and development, capable of providing a comfortable project creation. This platform has several positive factors which have allowed my experience to be on track during these last months, these factors were:
- Ability to create projects in groups, without any limit regarding how many employees can provide support during project creation. This made the projects more interactive and had more information.
- Asana projects can be easily exported to a cloud storage service, this really is a very positive factor, because it is exported automatically, and makes the information secure in the cloud immediately.

What do you dislike about the product?
Asana has made a breakthrough since it began to be used, because all its functions were quite easy to handle, and it achieved a quick adaptation to the UI it offers, however, I have had several negative factors that have significantly affected the experience I've been having with this platform, these factors were:
- Asana does not allow to create group projects from the cell phone, which forces the user to have to prepare a project individually, without any support fron their colleagues. I think that the Asana App should be more complete in this aspect, allowing you to create projects as a team, as is done from the computer.
- Asana has several disadvantages to throw notifications on the cell phone, corresponding to the tasks or schedules that have been done previously. I believe that this notification system should be improved, so that you send them, at the exact moment.
- Asana does not allow to create group projects from the cell phone, which forces the user to have to prepare a project individually, without any support fron their colleagues. Asana has really served a lot, and has provided the necessary and essential resources to allow me to create projects, customize tasks and develop various schedules in the company I am currently working on. I believe that Asana has a lot of potential, and it has been very noticeable in my company, providing an ROI of approximately 2 months, with which I noticed many changes in the ease of project creation.
Asana has been amazing to use as an entrepreneur. Great way to keep track of projects.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is great for task management and assigning tasks to other individuals. you can create new projects and groupings within seconds and the interface to add people to projects is very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
User management within ASANA is not easy. The ability to remove users completely from your account either does not exist, or is so far buried within the software, that it can't be found. Similarly., it is not always clear who has access to see tasks, or if a sub task is automatically accessible to all users of a group.

It allows you to fire and forget when it comes to assigning work. You can shift responsibility quickly to another team member.
