Asana is a great task-giving tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to assign tasks to a team and manage completion of tasks
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very user friendly. Can be complicated without time dedicated to learning the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to assign tasks for our church website and social media platforms. It is great to assign tasks to our design team as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great tool for large companies that need strong communication skills

It is easy to follow, assign tasks and prioritize workflows

You need to have paid version to see all the cool features. The free one only gives a handful of features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Asana to assign my team different project tasks and due dates for completion. This has helped to organize my day to to day better.

Asana is easy and straightforward to use. I like that it keeps those that you've assigned to a task responsible through reminders and alerts when I need a task completed.

I currently do not have any dislikes within Asana as of now.

One thing that I can say about Asana, is that it is so easy to use. You, including members of your team will not have a hard time using the software as it is very straightforward.
Asana For Taskkeeping
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I was able to create a project template for all incoming IO's which allowed for easy tracking company wide.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not like that once a project was archived by the admin then it erased for everybody.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workflow and project management tracking problems have been solved by ensuring everyone is taking ownership for assigned tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When using Asana, you should take the time out to build a base line template for most of your projects. By having the templates available at startup, when new and recurring projects begin this will reduce the amount of setup time and allow for maximum efficiency.
I enjoy Asana, it has great tools but can replaced by many other options

I like that everyone on a team can check in, work, update and comment on task or upcoming projects

At times, or in the first few uses, it can seem like a lot. Could be simpler

its great to have your to do list all in one place and be able to add reminders, comments etc.

What do you like best about the product?
I think Asana has a very user-friendly interface and is much easier to use than some of it's competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel as if Asana works well for single projects, however sometimes we have clients with multiple projects or ongoing services and I feel as if Asana could improve with managing those types of instances.

Keeps the team organized, task oriented, and helps us meet deadlines.

I like that I can access the program through the website or through the mobile App. It is very easy to access.

It takes getting used to the format of completing a task then assigning it to someone else as you progress through projects

It has been a great resource to use when I write blog articles.The editors assign mea topic and we work through Asana from start to completion of any article
The Convenience of Asana
What do you like best about the product?
It's really helpful when you're working in a team on a project with lots of moving parts. Using the kanban you can coordinate and increase productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the tasks will buildup in the "My Tasks" section which can make it hard to find what you're looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving the problem of having tons of projects and making sure none slip through the cracks
Asana for Creative Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
I love the calendar view as a visual representation of my and my teams workload.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t care for marking off my tasks within a project, only for them to disappear. If I wanted to reference something I’ve done I’d need to search through the timeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to manage a creative digital marketing team that needs to constantly shift due to market. The set up for teams has allowed everyone included a space to view our changes and stay on the same time age.
This product is great for teams that need to keep up with where projects stand in the workflow.
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing is the unicorns and other critters that fly across the screen in celebration of completing a task. I also like that you can customize the fields in projects and make templates for types of projects you do frequently - it saves you from having to add the same tasks over and over. I also like how you can set it to spooky mode close to halloween.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that they got rid of the "love" option. I also wish this product had the option to automatically general project numbers. It would help us match up print pieces to past projects and find original materials. I never could figure out how to export things from Asana - it would've been nice to see how many projects we did in each category.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool let's you enter in to-dos quickly and easily. The product we used before took so much time to enter a single task we often didn't bother because it took less time to actually just complete the task.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a system where others can submit tickets for your team, I don't think this is it, there's no much flexibility it's definitely more of an internal tool.
