Asana is Great for Cross Country Management
What do you like best about the product?
We have marketing people in our East Coast and West Coast office. It is simple to use Asana to make sure everyone is on the same page with the status of projects. I like that you are able to break down things by category and then have different headings and sub headings within each project.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love using the mobile app and usually, just use the web version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps connect our east coast and west coast teams - we have two marketing people and a lot of different priorities and projects going on all at once. This allows our marketing staff to log in to Asana and determine what we project we should be working on.
Accountability Booster
What do you like best about the product?
Using Asana to assign tasks and deadlines to fellow associates in a transparent manner that others can see allows for higher morale and greater accountability. No longer are the days of thinking others aren’t working or meeting deadlines, as you can see work get done before your very eyes, motivating you to do the same.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ease of use can be confusing at times, especially in keeping certain tasks confidential from others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is allowing for greater teamwork within the organization by allowing multiple people to tackle certain tasks.
Easy UI and amazing UX
What do you like best about the product?
The easy to use task management system is perfect not only for my work life but also my personal. You can easily put in sub-tasks and also attach files for easy project management and there is a unicorn that flies across your screen when you've marked a task done!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a better coloring system. I like to color code my projects so that I can keep track but all the colors seem to be very similar and hard to distinguish
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With all the different projects that are going on, it's hard to keep track of everything in emails. And also I use it for all my one on ones

What do you like best about the product?
It works well for putting in tasks and completing them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Features can be overwhelming and sometimes too many places to look and find things. Can be confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keep track of tasks and get them done. Benefits are everything is in one place.

I like asana because you can make a time line of important things you need to keep track of

Asena was easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
I used Asena with the other managers at my job. It was very user friendly. We even used it to schedule our days off so they didn’t fall on the same day! We were also able to assign tasks to each other and comment on post!
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn’t dislike much about Asena. I had difficulty using it at first but I ended up getting the hang of it. I got a little confused with assigning tasks or my days off but once I picked up it’s pretty user friendly. I may have missed this feature but a stop watch or reminders tab would have been helpful for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped keep us organized and assign tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It was very helpful when running a hectic store.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Asana is being able to effectively assign projects within the team that I work with to get assignments done.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that I dislike about Asana was that it was a bit confusing to navigate as a first time user, but it became easier with continued use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Asana, my coworkers and I are solving problems that we face on a daily basis in our field or E-Learning.

This is a great product!

What do you like best about the product?
I can see tasks assigned to my team and get emails when they have added updates or completed tasks which keeps me informed in real time. I am not glued to an app constantly checking on the status of everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app isn't as easy to use as I would like for managing team lists. It is mainly focused on "my tasks" but I like to see what others have pending. You can see it but there is a lot of drill down to get there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everyone on my team knows that anything task related goes in here. It keeps things from falling off teh radar and we all know who did what. We rarely have anything fall off the radar these days. It allows for recurring tasks and has a beautiful and easy to read layout both in calendar form and task lists. I have real time updates from my team. It allows for an ongoing history of closed out tasks that I can refer in a very easy search method to view if need be. I keep copies of emails in some tasks so it is easy to print to PDF and tuck the correspondence of what had happened throughout the project in with any other documents. It is a life saver - no doubts about it. I prefer it over Slack (only used it briefly) as it is more task oriented, not all the chatter, and I can get email updates in real time that to keep me up to date without being glued to an app.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just try it for a week and you will enjoy it.
Project Management Heavaen
What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to have all the projects in one location and to use one email to move across the various business entities that I have.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that you must purchase 5 licenses in order to upgrade your plan. I have been using the software for a while but I don't need 5 licenses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time and Project management. I can have everything in one location and I can be more effective and efficient when working with my clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure that you have written out your process flow in great detail. Because you will have to included additional integrations for things that are necessary for your specific needs.
Great Communication and Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the checklist/task feature. It feels so good to write down all the tasks I need to complete, including the deadline and dependent tasks, then check it off.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like how there aren’t automated categories for type of projects. Our team has a lot of different types of projects (billable, marketing, admin, etc) but we can’t add those kinds of qualifiers when creating a project to auto organize them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like that our team can see everything each other is working on so we can stay in the loop on workloads, projects, etc. Before no one really knew what others were working on but now we see it laid out clearly.
