Great platform!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that this platform has so easy communication methods internally. To me, this reminds me of a better version of twitter as far as communication. This is amazing in the looks and I love how user-friendly it is.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that this is a very organized platforms and being able to assign things to teammates and seeing the overall process on it is amazing. you don't really have to communicate back and forth with the employee. if they complete it you will get notified. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On the day to day bases I usually am doing a lot of project management on here, being able to lay the overall project in front of you and breaking it down in milestones is amazing. It's a great way to actually finish projects before the deadlines. Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely recommend this to other users. On the day to day bases I usually am doing a lot of project management on here, being able to lay the overall project in front of you and breaking it down in milestones is amazing. It is a great way to actually finish projects before the deadlines.
Fantastic resource for project collaboration across locations/orgs
What do you like best about the product?
The 15 team member limit for the free version. This is just the right size to get you started, but also become really productive with a decent sized project. The limitation of paid features doesn't make it unusable
What do you dislike about the product?
The card view/lanes are not very configurable, and could use some additional options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are in the midst of a merger, so finding a common toolset to help manage the project between the two disparate organizations (and partners) has been difficult. Asana allows us to assign tasks and provide some reporting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for task management in a card view, Asana is ok, but it is very limited. I suggest looking for a product that does this as a core feature instead of an afterthought.
Asana Is A Great Tool With Good UX
What do you like best about the product?
It’s streamlined, allows for task assignments, updates, specific deadlines to the minute and is generally easy to organize and use via color coding.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is that mobile notifications seem to be lacking
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization, deadline reminders, overarching project management
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It’s definitely worth using and is a fantastic tool for teams for any size
Best tool to organize projects
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is the best project management tool through which one can share their work, notes, and information on files required for projects among their team members. It has a clean and simple user interface and it is extremely easy to use. You can have tasks assigned to you by the team leader and also ask questions with other members. It is very efficient when you're working with people remotely. Overall, Asana makes collaboration easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
At present it doesn't show any alert or notifications for incomplete projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana to collaborate and work on several projects. With Asana, you're not required to be in the same room or even building as you can work remotely from anywhere. Some of our team members work from home and Asana allows us to continue the flow of our work with no hassle. You can see what fellow team members are doing and ask questions when confusions arise easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I definitely recommend Asana as it is essential for collaboration when it comes to projects and managing them better.
Head the right way
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using it for around 3 years and I can say, Yes its heading the exact way a total recommend product
What do you dislike about the product?
a first it was terrible in the earliest versions, now a perfect product
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
daily work task management
Room for improvement but not sure that anything better exists
What do you like best about the product?
I like how granular you can be when tasking out a project, being able to add subtasks, comment on those subtasks, add attachments etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
That there is no true Gantt chart view, and also the email notifications are overkill. There also seem to be too many ways to get the same thing done. I don't really understand the difference between milestones and projects. I also which there was a better way to have recurring tasks. Maybe if there was some sort of daily checklist...having a task that repeats alongside more project-based tasks is a little strange.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it mainly to timeline/task out bigger projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for most tasks and project planning, but not ideal as a daily tasks tool. Also no Gantt chart view, so roadmapping over the long term isn't ideal with Asana. It is really just more for projects.
Simple and great application for project management
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Asana is that it feels like a super powered and organized to do list. It is simple to use and its flexible to your project's needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the better features require a paid subscription. Sometimes organizing and categorizing the tasks can be tedious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great tool to keep track of tasks and manage progress of projects. You can use it at a broad level or very specific to small projects.
One stop tool for team sprints management
What do you like best about the product?
The kanban board and the gantt chart timeline is the best thing about Asana. It helps in managing the tasks at a micro level which is a very essential feature required for planning a sprint.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being a student it is difficult to buy a paid version of the software. Asana should at least provide their premium version free to students.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving multiple problems like tracking bug fixing, sprint plannings, and project implementation.
Love it
What do you like best about the product?
Super organized. So easy to communicate and share thoughts specifically surrounding the task being discussed. Everything is clean, simple, and intuitive. The mobile app is also powerful and incredibly easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Opportunity for more automations. Like every time this type of task is closed, do this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving time looking through texts/emails.
One of The Best Tool to organize Things
What do you like best about the product?
After trying several tools I found the Asana and figure that out how much this tool is really useful to manage everything such as my company work/tasks, managing team and their tasks and most importantly, it's easy to use. It's really easy to use tool for everyone and i think anyone can learn how to use it quickly, no needed to read about the FAQs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I don't think if there's something I dislike about this tool as this tool have everything you need to manage all of your company work. But, there's always a things which you can add. There's always you can find the improvements but I don't think not just me but anyone can find anything to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basically as a startup, you've several things and plan into your mind and you've to write it out to start working on it so Asana helped me on that. I write out everything about my plans and then shared with team and assign those tasks one by one. That's how we get started working on our new plans.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend Asana to other, specially if you're startup it'll help you a lot.
