My Go-to Project Management App
What do you like best about the product?
I love everything about Asana, from it's intuitive interface to it's ability to communicate with other team members. For us, it's the "outline" type layout that works perfectly for our projects. We can set calendar due dates, make notes and communicate across different team channels to make sure every one is on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana works for us. There are some premium features that it would be nice to access on a more affordable plan for freelancers or one person businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps us keep all of our projects on time and up to date. We are able to instantly add research online using the Google plugin, add tasks, notes etc. We've been able to layout our projects and work through them as a team on a systematic basis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is an easy to implement Project Management software. It's fast, it's online,it's easy to use. We also can communicate as a team for changes, questions, suggestions and due dates. The free version is super powerful and the premium version is reasonably priced.

Small office delgation system
What do you like best about the product?
Our office is small and you'd think that because of our size, we wouldn't have much miscommunication on tasks, but that it simply not the case. Asana helps us eliminate any cross-wiring in communications regarding tasks.
You are able to create different “projects” – we use this function to keep our many events separate. Then, within the project, you can select tags, such as “registration” or “marketing”. Then, you can assign one or more people to the task.
Another perk is that within a task, you can create subtasks AND you can mark a task dependent on another task that needs to be done first. It’s very stream-lined once you learn how to navigate the software.

What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing that I dislike is that if someone makes a comment on a task that is meant fo ryou to see -- it could very well end up lost in the shuffle if you don't check your tasks and notifications regularly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has help us delegate tasks in a more streamlined way and has allowed us to see what everyone is working on so we don't overwhelm anyone with extra work. It's also been helpful to track the progress on certain projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We love Asana, but it does take time to set-up and learn how to navigate all it has to offer. Once you set up everything you need and become familiary with the functionaly of it all as a whole, it's smoothe sailing going forward.
Project Management Livesaver
What do you like best about the product?
I would not be able to keep all of my tasks organized without Asana. It is by far the best project management tool out there. It is intuitive and supportive to any team and their goals. It also keeps everyone on track an in communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was chat capabilities between teams. I also wish the downloads were more customizable so we could adjust before sending to clients Otherwise, I cannot live without it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to keep all of my projects organized, tag team members, assign tasks and deadlines, see timelines, and export tasks to send PDFs of tasks to partners and clients.

The Best Way to Stay on Track and Organized with Your Projects
What do you like best about the product?
I love that the basic version is free for one and that it is so extremely easy to use. I use it to organize my to-do list and also my projects. It's a great way to keep everything in one place so you're not all over the place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything to dislike about it yet. May have more eays to design your dashboard for esthetic reasons but I like the way it is now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being disorganized. I was constantly scrambling for notes and trying to find links and information for projects I am working on. Asana just makes my life so much easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out it's free unless you need to add a large team of people on your project.
Great Tool For Making Sure Nothing Falls Off The Radar
What do you like best about the product?
The feature that I find most helpful from Asana is the daily to-do list roundup emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app (for iPad anyways) is a little wonky when it comes to showing notifications. For example, it will show 40+ notifications and then when I go into the app there is only 1 at most (sometimes none).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A few of the clients that I work with use Asana for making sure that tasks are completed on time and don't fall under the radar.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is a great tool for companies who have a lot of things that need to be done or find themselves forgetting about tasks.
Organized and fun interface
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Asana makes a to-do list for you, listing the tasks that are assigned to you and when the due date is. I love the fun interface--and the rainbow unicorn that flies across the screen. It's a great visual representation of how I feel when I complete a task.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing that I dislike is the file upload limit. I design emails in photoshop and we upload the psd to the production task for it to be programmed by our CRM team. I have to rasterize the images in the file before uploading in order to make it as small as possible to upload. Also, sometimes I get email notifications for tasks or people replying to tasks that I follow and sometimes I don't. I would like a bit more consistency with that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for email design. We have a big office and big teams. Everyone that I collaborate with is in a different area. All areas of email design have a separate subtask--one for merchandising, copy, design, production, testing, etc. It is an easy and fast way to collaborate with different team members without having to email back and forth or talk on the phone.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend for anyone who wants to have an organized system for task management and communication.
