What do you like best about the product?
Asana keeps my staff on track with to do lists and management directly through the app. I can easily see what has been completed and what tasks my staff are waiting to complete. The category feature breaks down individual departments or events making the lists organized and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana could have better integration with other popular business app such as slack and outlook. The notifications could also be better tailored for the user and the task assigners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows me to inform my staff of tasks and to dos without the need to write lengthy emails that get lost in the inbox. I also know when a task is complete and can easily assign a task to someone else if needed.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is really helpful for time management. It is very simple to use and it is nice that you can assign tasks to other people.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside fo Asana is the way that you sometimes can't read the entire task that you write if it is longer than the space they give you.

I am solving time management issues. This helps me prioritize and remember certain tasks.

Just as the name suggests

What do you like best about the product?
Minimalist approach to project and task management. If you're looking to keep track of what is due, who is responsible and to keep the message threads in order, look no further than Asana. The tool makes task and resource management a breeze and it is extremely user friendly.

Those who stay away from tools, use it and as a result the project productivity increases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many emails with no way to curtail them. At times, the emails sent via mobile phone bounce back which defeats the purpose.

It doesnt have core Project Management
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management and historical information/activity

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it allows me and my coworkers to keep track of our projects and progress. It's also nice to get updates on projects and subprojects/tasks easily and less clutered.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is slightly clutered and I lose track of projects that I have completed. There's also no easy UI for projects you follow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving a lot of work problems.

Asana has superb interactive workflow charts and more

  • September 23, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I was able to sign up and start using Asana with my department very quickly. I didn't have to read through many documents or watch tons of video in order to get to use it with full efficiency. The tools within Asana are mostly simple to use. Much of the project data we manage can be updated in real time for our entire team to see when they log in.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that there could be more features to enhance collaborations on actual content. Asana can do many things with the right integrations, but the default features are more oriented towards scheduling and managing tasks. It could benefit from having more file collaboration features with advanced drawing and version capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana minimizes our need to constantly communicate with team members for project materials and status updates. I think that most team members are more likely to be motivated to finish tasks so that they can help to move projects forward and not be the one that is holding up anything in the workflow. It's good pressure that keeps people aware of all activities and more focused on meeting deadlines.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should check out one of the many project templates that can give you a well-formed structure that could jump start projects and guide it in the right direction.

A solid project management software

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the way that you're able to manage your tasks with the view you prefer. The interface is user friendly and it's easy to be productive with this tool. Plus, the mobile app is a no brainer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tasks menu doesn't automatically filter the tasks by due date. Everytime I'm checking my morning tasks, I have to filter them manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a lot more productive with Asana than the others project management tools I used.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should at least try the free version and than scale up your needs.

Asana is bit complex for a non techie guy initially. Project assignment to colleagues is easy, but notification should've more appropriate.

What do you like best about the product?
My team and I keep our tasks organized by person and with deadlines. It's extremely easy to use and keeps everyone on track!
What do you dislike about the product?
If you don't manage your email preferences, they will send you countless emails everytime someone does something on Asana! Luckily that has a fix but just a warning to beginners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When there's a massive project and your team gets overwhelmed by tasks at hand, it's an amazing way to add structure, due dates, and assign tasks to specific team members. It gives you a good grasp on how to proceed.
