Fantastic software for task management

What do you like best about the product?
Simple UI, great time tracking tools, many great 3rd party extensions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting could be stronger. Asana does lack in this area compared to other similar software (Jira for example)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
keeping track of team mates time all within one simple UI.

What do you like best about the product?
It was really easy to learn Asana-minimal learning curve. It was user-friendly and we were able to jump right and start utilizing it from Day One
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly nothing, we've tried a few others and this was our favorite hands down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's made it easier to work remotely, when we have people all over the States and not locally for meetings, it keeps us connected and minimizes email.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's really great to jump right in, and start using right away with minimal learning curve even for those that might not be very tech-savvy. No tutorials needed, self-explanatory and truly useful. Especially for situations where you might be working remotely!

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love Asana. I enjoy how you can organize every project and create tasks and subtasks then assign them to a team member. Absolutely fantastic. I've used Asana for a few years now and I tell everyone about how they should use it. It's helped me manage my life.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! Absolutely nothing. I suppose you could get a little crazy if you kept nestling the tasks to subtasks, but I can see the value of you do require it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving deadline problems with amazing results. People understand the bigger picture and see how important next steps are.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It will change the way you think about organization.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it does everything, from communication, tasks, alerts, deadlines, it has helped our business become much more organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish we could use it as a labor-management tool but we are making do with what we can and all it has to offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are finding out where we are over and putting projects together as a whole picture rather then using emails to do so.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out! The free version has alot to offer and is so easy. All the app is phenomenal.

Asana Makes Everything Better

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Asana arranges all of my tasks by the day or as a calendar. It makes it so easy to see what I need to do each day or which days I can add tasks to when someone asks me when to expect something by. I like the way that you can choose the alerts you get. I also like that you can choose how you want your tasks to appear - by calendar, by list, and then by what is due when. It makes it very easy for me to stay organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can't think of something about Asana that I don't like. I love using it. There used to be an issue where when you clicked on the calendar, it created a task automatically and then you had to delete it but they fixed that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I keep up with all of my tasks, organize social posts and blogs into calendars, and then check things off as I get them done. It's so much better than keeping a notepad with tasks to check off on it. Asana also lets different members of our team assign things so each other so that we can keep track of who is doing what. This makes it easier than just passing someone in the breakroom and saying, "Hey, can you do ____ for me?". Instead, they can assign it to you, add files to it, and add due dates. It keeps thing really organized which improves the ease of us getting projects done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get it! I love using it! It makes things so organized and really simplifies with communicating with team members about projects. You won't regret it.

Works well for tasks

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to put task progress, what it is waiting for, and submit requests
What do you dislike about the product?
The way it does notifications about tasks and how the inbox is a bit messy. The emails are annoying the most. I have it on the lowest settings, and it still feels like too much. Plus, when I go to my inbox to see notifications, they are displayed in a way that it is extremely easy for me to miss things (such as a comment).

The other thing that I don't like is for example we have tasks with due and post date - I wish it switch over
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is a great way for me to see what i have to do each day without having to write it down or constantly ask my boss. It's also a great way for people to make requests of my team. Instead of constant emails (which are frustrating to keep track of after awhile), we can just make requests. The key is to get everyone on it so that everyone is on the same page and knows what to do.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get your team to use it, makes things easier in general. Excellent for requests - instead of consistent emails, people can request tasks and they can be assigned out to others

What do you like best about the product?
I love the mobile app! It has come in handy so often. The ability to assign tasks to different individuals works well for us so that we can see when that task is completed. The fact that it integrates with Office 365 allows us to sync reminders and documents and share them with other members of the team working on the same project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing within the software is a bit tricky and can be improved in future updates to the software. It does take time getting used to the multitude of features and would be helpful if customer service was less automated and more personal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First and foremost for me is the tracking of and status rating for my tasks that has been most helpful. Second, is how easy it is to share back and forth while modify work being worked on between myself and my intern. It's adaptability to just about any project I'm working on is also what appeals greatly to me as I have multiple, diverse, collaborative things going at once.

It is continuously giving reminders for completimg task sometimes task is already completed.
