Excellent application for my entrepreneurial needs
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is indeed a solid, user-friendly project management tool for my work, task management, notifications, a customer portal, collaboration tools, task assigning and basic reporting, all at one go. What makes Asana the best productivity tool is the ease of including/removing tasks in your work schedule. More than that, tasks can be prioritized and adjusted accordingly. Asana also has a mobile app that syncs all my tasks from my Mac to my iPhone. It is also available in German, French, Spanish and Portuguese, and being quadrilingual myself, I really like this feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing tiers of Asana make it unaffordable for me to purchase premium. This is the most user unfriendly part of Asana. The ‘Business’ plan is $23.99 (£18.78) monthly, which is more than GBP200 and unfit for my yearly budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Asana, I design my week schedule and coordinate tasks according to my schedule to build a successful business for myself. I have been funded by my University and the free version of this tool makes my job easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is the best project management tool out there that can make not only your life easier but also the lives of the people who work with you, of the people who work for you and of the people who you work for.
A great tool for working together
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has been great to manage tasks across our company. It's very easy to use and helps us to work together remotely. It helps us stay organized and makes sure that things get done. I love being able to assign tasks to my upper management and them accepting it without me seeming too pushy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly think that there's a lot more to Asana that we don't really use. I wish it was more straightforward with the other uses for it so that we can best utilize the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used to track leads. It's easier to track leads in Asana and get quick names and contact info dropped into tasks. It's much quicker than using CRM's which require a contact to be made. Asana is quick and easy and it's a great tool to assign projects to my coworkers without having to constantly remind them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think that it's the perfect software for companies to use to communicate the projects that are going on within the workplace. There are so many uses for Asana but I don't think you need to necessarily use every single feature to utilize it in a way that fits your company. It's very tailormade and easy to use. I would recommend doing some training within the company to learn more about the other features to make sure that you are getting the best experience with it, but as I said, don't worry too much about using every single feature offered.
Asana makes your workflow easier and more efficient
What do you like best about the product?
It helps you track who is doing what, and mark something complete. You can even create assembly line-like tasks that are chronologically dependent. Once someone marks their part of a task complete, you know that you can do your part of the task.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to navigate at times and I wish the page where you can see everything at once was organized more like a flow chart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easier to communicate, track, and assign tasks that need to be done. It also keeps record of daily productivity.

Try it out! Go to a workshop! It really makes things easier and more organized.
Saves Time & Increases Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
The project management tool and built-in templates have saved my company time and money by allowing us to collaborate and communicate in one central space.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a few weeks of work to get everything set up in the way we currently use it. Even though the default/built-in templates are great, a lot of time went into making them custom for our organization and digestible for my employees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now save a lot of time with project collaboration. It's now easier to manage my remote team because I can quickly see exactly what's being worked on and completed. I also love that it connects to the Harvest Time App, so the employees can track tasks & hours from one place, reducing rework.

Spend time learning all of the tools within the software before you start setting it up for your organization.

The user interface is easy to use and functions are actually functional

At times, since it is cloud based it does have a lag but that could be based on the connection as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
having all elements of the project accessible. I benefit from it as instead of sending emails, which can often confuse and clutter your inbox, each project is organized

Asana is any easy-to-use software that allows my team and I to stay up-to-date with tasks, without the headache of email.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our older employees have a difficult time learning how to use the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving the problem of being able to stay organized and meeting deadlines on time, as the software has due dates and you can assign the tasks to employees.
Keeps our small team on track
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Asana for ease of use across teams and projects. The repeat function on tasks allows us with confidence to not miss deadlines. The colour coordination of projects can give us a quick glance idea of what is on our plate for the day. The ability to add pdfs to tasks or projects also gives us the freedom of not being tied to one office and to keep a more paperless environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to have default settings when moving across fields. I enjoy seeing my tasks appear by deadline, instead of the default. Each time I navigate back to my tasks, I have to choose how I would like the tasks ordered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has allowed us to grow our business with confidence. As bookkeepers, we are relied upon to keep everyone (including ourselves) on top of a lot of deadlines. It allows us to manage our workflow accordingly. We have recommended it as a tool to clients as well.
Great for Project Management, with room for a few improvements
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is an incredibly varied tool that allows you to track progress, touch base with colleagues in real-time on the same projects, and ultimately keeps a multi-faceted project VERY organized. Plus, it's color-coded! Who doesn't love that?! I appreciate that it's ultimately very organized and its purpose is overall project management and organization, specifically on projects that require a multifaceted workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the tagging-colleagues process is limited to just typing their name and "following" another task that a colleague is assigned to. The ideal process would be multiple assignees and an organized way of keeping up-to-date with deadlines, internal timelines, and client-facing timelines. I haven't played with the export features, but I would love the integration of your Google Calendar, as well. I also dislike the amount of time it takes to get aligned with Asana's central nervous system of operation. It's definitely not a simple onboard to be able to use it efficiently and strategically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has been able to impact my workflow with my team in a positive way, throughout. I appreciate its ability to track and streamline the general flow of project work ESPECIALLY on a project with quite a few individual components. I appreciate the ability to follow other streams, as well, especially on those working on my team to track their progress. I love love love the color-coding! I also appreciate the little fun "surprises" that arise when you complete multiple tasks in a row! That always adds a fun element to the monotony.

What do you like best about the product?
We can easily be assigned a task by using this application. It is a very user-friendly application. We can perform a team-based work smoothly. Also, we can assign task to someone. Able to communicate and collaborate task by using this. It follows a task management system. We can attach files images on the task. It is using a simple structure and platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not able to communicate a person directly, means we don't have any chat-based environment. It can only be used for task management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have assigned so many migrations using this tool. Also, we have assigned so many taks to our colleague by using the tool.

It is a very simple tool for task management. Don't have any complications.

What do you like best about the product?
With Asana, I'm able to easily track projects my team is working and on and where they are with completion. By linking our entire team on one platform, it has streamlined our review and turnaround process. Its customization allows for easy task management and tailored to my organization needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Truly, I cannot think of a single thing we dislike about Asana - the capabilities are exactly what we were looking for. It is easy to use and has updated over the years to match trends and the growing needs of its users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana makes both managing projects and product development simple. Projects are easy to set up and track, team members can build a clear view of their work. As an admin I can have a clear report on the progress we make.
