Clean and useful project organizer
What do you like best about the product?
Loved the simplicity and ease of use. Was my first time using project management software but I had zero problems setting up our project.
It’s free version is more than enough for one project/team although the possibilities of the higher tiers are endless.
The many templates and layouts make it the perfect fit for any project and it’s mobile app doubles the productivity!

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it may be too simple and some tasks or assignments might end up being a bit confusing.
Also if you don’t follow the tutorial or skip those steps you may miss some amazing features.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing a project for a small team. It was our first time but with Asana all the departments (design, analytics, marketing) are perfectly managed.

Try its free tier to see if it cover your needs. For most small teams out there it will be enough but if your projects start to grow just upgrade your plan!
Complete Tasks Easily, Meet Deadlines, Collaborate while working Remotely
What do you like best about the product?
With Asana, it is not just a task management tool but it can be also useful as a learning platform or a tool to conduct special courses or training of new employees. While most of our employees would be from different regions or cities while working at home, Asana is very useful by creating your curriculum and assigning it to numerous employees or students. You may add online resources, links, and instructions per subject. No need to create another one for incoming students or new employees. Just simply duplicate that task and assign it to another person. It will not just save you time but also provide them with a high quality method of teaching which we find effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me it lacks reminders for unfinished task or missed deadline. Asana does not send that much notification of your previous activity log through email of what transpired between you and others while working on a project. You can change settings but for others, it is a must or default settings because progress of a project or training should definitely be emailed to you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More collaboration and easy access on shared files thus more quality tasks are being accomplished.

We have different projects or department in a company and if you are in HR or in Training and Employee Development, you should use Asana.

Asana keeps me very organized in my work, since it allows me to create different projects and create subtasks. I can also work in a team since it has many ideal characteristics to assign and track the tasks of each of them. This software helps me to be aware of the tasks, due dates and subtasks that I need to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
A disadvantage that I can say is that I wish that this software had more options to integrate time tracking, I would also like to be able to separate my personal activities from work boards since by allowing my colleagues to see my boards, my personal information It can be in sight.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every day I review my tasks since this program has kept me focused on my activities and has helped me to successfully complete my projects, for now I have all my projects marked in different colors and I have established due dates to be organized.

I love the way of management of All my tasks. Keeping track of the tasks is very easy here. In our organization, we work upon multiple projects, and thus keeping individual track of performance of the projects has made my life easier.

I love the calendar feature - you can drag around your tasks to plan your week/month.

You can't, at least on the free version, say how long you expect a task to take. This means that on the calendar you can't have tasks taking more than one day.

Planning my week. Allows me to visualise when I can do different tasks.

Creating and organizing tasks and managing the project team is simple and easy to monitor.

I struggle sometimes with the amount of time it takes to stay on top of the tasks. For me there is a little too much correspondence going back and forth with the team. I don't like the duplicate communications that show up in my e-mail.
