Great for managing teams and projects

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has multiple options for organizing different types of projects and even company documents. I love that you can assign and view tasks in a calendar mode versus a list dependent upon preference. Assigning due dates with reminders is a great way to hold our team accountable for tasks. I also love that it's updated in real time so changes are instant.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be slow to load. I often find delays when I start typing for the words to appear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to manage our program launches for everything from graphics, video, social media, email copy, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The tutorials are great. Even if I didn't think I needed them I found some great ideas for ways to use it. It's also very customizable in terms of making it work for any organization.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to organize projects with clear timelines, assign responsibilities, and see progress at a glance has made it much easier for our team to stay aligned and keep work moving forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once everyone understands how it works, it becomes very intuitive, but the initial onboarding and learning curve could be a bit smoother for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is the best platform to share with other employees on future projects.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to assign tasks to different team members on different projects and reports on who has done what and what is still remaining to be done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Calendar integration could be a little smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps milestones for multiple projects on time and under control

What do you like best about the product?
Excellent user interface that's extremely easy to use all included in the free version of the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
No cons here. It does everything need currently need and it's free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping our team organized and on schedule while keeping everyone in the loop.

If you're looking for a free task management software, this is a really good option.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to make subtasks and assign them to different people. Being able to keep all projects and related documents in a sharable, centralized platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
You cant assign a task to multiple people.

Keeping on track with projects and due dates. Easily sharing progress with coworkers.

AMAZING Project Management for Events

What do you like best about the product?
My team and I use Asana mainly for any upcoming events we have. We create columns that say To Do, In Process, and Completed with a list of tasks under each one. It's been great because we are also able to assign the task to each responsible people. It's a great project management tool that gives insight to everyone needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't seen any software updates in a long time or new features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Event planning has been a breeze- we don't have to email each other on who has done what. We can just check the board and see what has already been completed and by who, along with what's left to do.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I'm able to collaborate with different teams and groups. We use it for onboarding and larger project managing and it's great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the reminders for past due items don't get sent to you or you can't tie it to a google calendar alert to notify you to get it done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Larger project managing problems.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a great way to organize team efforts and easily see the priorities of what needs to be done. It was immediately understandable for everyone involved and a great way to keep things moving. I found the calendar function particularly useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I suppose there could be more functionality, especially for developers, but for marketing and content its pretty great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a software to organize our priorities and keep things moving. A huge benefit was the calendar function, which helped us keep track of all the content we sent out. Before we used Asana we didn't have a centralized place to keep track of all our outgoing customer-facing communication.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great way to organize your work and team efforts without getting bogged down in the details of how to work the software.

The user-friendliness of Asana enables me to onboard several team members at multiple stages of the projects.

Pricing can be prohibitive in the nonprofit space.

I have used Asana to plan fundraisers and projects for multiple nonprofits. Asana is most helpful in event planning, enabling me to connect a team of staff and volunteers for cohesive task and project management.
