Overall it is a good PM tool
What do you like best about the product?
It has many features and options to create customized project spaces. So different departments can create its own project.
What do you dislike about the product?
This can not be replaced by Jira which is very suitable for Scrum sprint projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My organization never had one project management tool before so having this and announced to the entire organization is solving a partial problem that we have.

Difficulty while renewing the license.

I really like how I can keep track of team member progress on tasks, as well as my own.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any new app, some of my team members don' t want to use "another new app"

I use Asana for Scrum and for my personal Eisenhower Matrix.
Good tool to keep track of projects on the go
What do you like best about the product?
I've used Asana with my previous employer of 10 people team. Asana's free plan worked perfectly with our basic to mid-level projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to assign multiple people to tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were event organisers and from the planning phase to cross-collaboration, using asana was very effective to keep track of process and also being able to store essential materials within the app under certain tasks was easy to get back to those assets easily.
Asana is great product to work with your team remotely.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana works great. It organizes, fosters collaboration, and works as a great way to stay connected. Would highly reccommend for an organization looking for a communication and project management tool.

Asana can be challenging to get started with unfamiliar staff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very few problems. Our staff was able to focus on some projects and timelines much better.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can nest my tasks under main projects and assign tasks to people. The boards make it super simple to keep projects organized and keep me on task.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you aren't familiar, it can be a little bit intimidating!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it to organize all of my separate projects at work, the main benefit is keeping me on task and keeping track of the project itself.
I used ASANA as a Task Management software to assign tasks for all team mates.

Its very easy to use and very user friendly.

I was using the software to assign daily tasks to check on their productivity.
It was user friendly and easy to put across for my team members to understand and start working on it right from day 1.

Its easy to use software for tasks and projects
Good task management tool, but it can get out of control.
What do you like best about the product?
Drag and drop capabilities. (Kanban style boards). Integrations to many other third-party tools allow for bi-directional communication. Ability to create workflows to automatically takes actions on tasks. Ability to create templates and use them to quickly spin up new projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
From a UI perspective, there is a lot going on and it can be somewhat overwhelming, especially for a new user. Occasionally experience outages. Not a lot of outages, but certainly more than I've experienced with other SaaS tools. Not really an Asana issue, but if you aren't thoughtful in what you're going to use the tool for, it can get quickly out of control. I.e., if you create a lot of projects, you could spend hours every day just keeping up with changes and notifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana to manage our larger projects. For this purpose, it's very useful. We also use Asana as an individual task manager. (allowing any colleague to add tasks to our to-do board). It's this last use case that causes Asana to become overwhelming. (in my opinion)

What do you like best about the product?
I like having all project tasks in one place and the ease of duplicating tasks, setting up recurring tasks, connecting with teammembers, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were better budget integrations. As in, I could set a project budget in Asana and my time estimates on tasks would deduct from it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staying on top of tasks and deadlines to make sure nothing gets missed. Better task management overall within projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to click around and play with features! There is a lot of functionality that is not right on the surface but enhances the overall Asana experience.
