Would recommend Asana for team projects.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the company managers can assign projects to anyone and we can all see who is working on what.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how complex it is to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving delegation. It is easy to take on tasks alone, but having an organized system to delegate is helpful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend Asana to organize tasks as a small business team.
Asana: Effective and constantly Improving
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Asana makes so easy to connect your entire team and all corresponding calendars in order to make sure everything is on track at any given point in time. They have also been adding features regularly that assist with workflow, status reports and other useful information about your team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how disorganized some of the layouts feel visually. I think that it was an attempt to provide alternative views (calendar view, task view, timeline view, etc) because everyone prefers something different, but because of this feature often times the platform feels clunky and disorganized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have had a lot of trouble finding a calendar that really works for our entire team and out of the 5 or 6 different platforms we have tried, Asana is the only one that has really stuck. Everyone has a different preference for how they want to work with their calendar and Asana provides the opportunity to use it how you want to while also being able to see other team members' tasks and progress.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Everyone has different needs for this type of product, Asana is great but I would shop around for what works for your needs.
Streamline your work process and stay up to date on projects
What do you like best about the product?
What's awesome about Asana is being able to visualize a projects progress and see who on your team is responsible for what task. There are multiple views: list, calendar, timeline.. and it can be customized per user. The app also integrates with adobe, outlook, and chrome (if you pay for a business account). There is a feature called forms that also allows you to take in tasks through submissions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that you can't pick which features you want to use, and that they're packages, but I guess that's every online app now that has multiple tiers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana creates more organization in our workplace and really allows for a great visual on what needs to be done and what is already completed
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Request a trial first through their chat. They'll help you and let your team try it out before committing.
Fine

The task function helps organize tasks within the company
What do you dislike about the product?
The email notification system is a bit overwhelming
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miscommunications
Great for organizing team projects
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to view / add to / comment on each team member's to-do lists.
What do you dislike about the product?
Set up of a system that works for your team can be time consuming and confusing at first. Not all features are useful for everyone, so it can be a bit overwhelming to get started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication regarding long-term projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look past the features you may not need- if you don' need them, then don't use them. Don't disregard the product because of too many features.
Great way to keep organized

What do you dislike about the product?
I get constant emails with all the updates, this can be annoying at times because you receive notification a lot, even though some would say that its good reminders, I don't like getting them for every single comment that gets added. If I know that a project has a deadline or a due date that I want to check the progress of the project when I know that the due date is coming up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complete project with other coworkers and all of us being on the page is becoming easier. When all the details are clearly on the notes, everyone knows what is expected of them and also they cant tell me things like 'I did not know' Or "we did not talk about that" that is actually my favorite part of sharing projects. Also when we are working on projects I like the fact that we can add attachments, this has helped a lot because I don't have to keep going back to my emails and looking for them, also we can always attached the most update form or PDF that we are currently working on. Like that also
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Is a great tool to stay organized
He is a perfect task manager.
What do you like best about the product?
It has a user interface and a nice-looking color scheme. You can manage the lists according to the type of tasks. Everything is saved in the cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you add a task with an expiration date and an expiration time, you do not receive an open bell or an emergent notification at the time of expiration and this is a little inefficient because you have to constantly check the email or Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my company it is a very useful tool for all jobs and it has quickly become a platform of obligatory use within my organization. It has a good time tracking platform so that my employees do not have to switch between windows to keep track of the project they are working on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana keeps me organized and helps me to keep in touch with all my employees, at the same time it allows me to see the progress of the projects of each of the departments within my company.
Easy to use team project software
What do you like best about the product?
There are several things I like about this software. It is free and easy to use, which are the most important things. Adding tasks and assigning tasks to users is very intuitive. You are able to set due dates, assign task priorities, comment on tasks, attach files to tasks, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main dislike is the mobile interface. It's not particularly difficult to use, but it's not as seamless and user friendly as the desktop version. This is only a minor complaint and certainly not enough to turn me away. I still suggest this software for anyone looking for free and easy project management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this on a daily/weekly basis to establish progress on many different projects and tasks that need to be done. This is only used to track the 1-off tasks, and not daily tasks that are expected to be completed and repeated on a regular basis. This app has become increasingly useful as we have added members to our team, as tracking projects grows quickly as members are added and more work avenues can be explored.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have a small team this is a perfect software to use. It is free and includes any features that I could possibly imagine anyone looking for a project management software might want. For reference, our team is currently at 5 total people who use the software. We would comfortably continue to use this software for up to 20+ people before considering any software re-evaluations.
Great software for managing tasks and projects.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the web interface and the cloud aspect of the project management software.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost for paid the business version is too much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to manage many Project and Jobs. This software has added transparency to many departments.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is great software for project managing with a great cloud/web style interface.
Very nice, simple project management
What do you like best about the product?
I like the calming layout of Asana. And the overall function of the program helps to cut down on wasted time. It just gets straight to the point and helps you keep larger goals in mind. It's easy to use and there is no way to mess up or lose your place.
My favorite part was probably the color coding. I am very big on this feature in any program.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's not that I "dislike" anything, but the issue is that Asana was not right for me. I found that Asana does not have the robust document upload capabilities and other bells and whistles that I prefer. And actually, it generally did not have the features that I enjoyed in some other programs I have used. I know that simplicity is the name of the game for Asana, but I feel there are ways to add features without making it busy and cluttered.
That being said, those few and bare features may work for some users, especially solopreneurs and small teams. I think Asana is what it needs to be, I just don't fall into the category of person who needs it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For a short period of time, we were using Asana to manage our individual tasks. We found that we outgrew the system pretty quickly though.
