Asana Review

  • January 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes life easier by making tracking all tasks and subtasks properly, hence ownership is defined. It has a clean UI too, and can be easily integrated to a variety of tools. The AI assistant is very nice, helps reduce manual work a lot
What do you dislike about the product?
No Kanban style supported, which is very well supported inside other tools like Trello, one of the main reasons why we moved. For small tasks, setting up Asana boards is way more complicated than others. Learning curve is bit steep hence newcomers take time to adapt. Sometimes feels a bit overcomplicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to manage both personal and team projects. Mainly useful when we had cross functional dependencies with other projects as well. It helps in brainstorming as everything is there at one place.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana helps me figure out what teams are currently working on and what's coming up next, which basically keeps me organized. I appreciate that you can assign statuses to different jobs so you can see the progress, which helps me stay on track and plan my week or month ahead. It was very easy to understand and navigate from the start.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is a bit dull and looks the same as any other app - quite generic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me figure out what teams are working on and what's coming next, keeping us organized. Assigning statuses to jobs lets me track progress and plan ahead.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Great for tasks assignment amongst our small company

Easy Task Organization and Clear Progress Tracking

  • January 20, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to organize tasks, as well as prioritize those tasks according to due dates. It's simple to tag team members, assign roles, and make comments, to gain visibility into projects. I also really enjoy the progress bars that can be created to track completion stages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Email notifications from projects that I'm copied in on can get noisy and create a cluttered inbox, sometimes making it difficult to determine notifications are meant toward me, and what are just team members making updates or comments on projects I'm not directly involved with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping me stay organized with day to day tasks, as well as visibility into company wide projects. I have a much clearer image of what tasks are important, what is due, and what can be deprioritized.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana centralizes our projects and helps align every operational task with the company’s strategic objectives.

While Asana is a leading tool, companies often encounter specific operational and financial challenges as they scale their use of the platform.

Asana eliminates "work about work" by centralizing fragmented communication and automating repetitive tasks, allowing our organization to stay aligned on strategic goals while saving hours of manual coordination each week.

Streamlined Task Management with Integration Challenges

  • January 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana for its seamless integration and easy user adoption. It helps with clear accountability and streamlines both task management and workflow. The initial setup of Asana for my team was easy, which made the transition smoother for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how project templates can't be applied after a project is created. It's frustrating that we can't set default project templates for teams, which makes integration with Pipedrive trickier than necessary. When a new deal is won, it automatically creates a new project but then we have to either delete and recreate a project with the proper template or manually add tasks. The automation between Asana and Pipedrive doesn't allow selecting templates or setting specifics, which makes it more work than automated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana provides clear accountability and streamlines task management and workflow for my team.

Intuitive and Easy Task Management with Asana

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Asana intuitive and really appreciate how it helps organize tasks by internal company team. The user interface makes sense and it’s easy to add different subtasks, and assign other people to projects. This ease shortens the time needed to assign tasks, which gives me more time to execute them. Setting up Asana was very easy too; I just installed it, created an account, added it to teams, and I was done.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the integration with Google Calendar to be lacking. Right now, standard Asana doesn't integrate with Google Calendar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for project management as it helps to organize tasks and keep deadlines in mind. The user interface is intuitive, making it easy to add subtasks and assign tasks, which shortens the time needed for task assignment.
