Collaborative project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and collaborative, easy to control access/ add contributors to your project. Easy to integrate with other platforms using Zapier. Portfolios are a convenient way to group and track the progress of multiple projects in a portfolio. Filter options for my tasks, ability to see only incomplete tasks or sort by the due date.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search function could be better, it is hard to find relevant records when you search for tasks or projects. Goals are very general and are not tied to specific projects; we did not find this function useful. It would be nice to visually separate team projects in the sidebar, it just looks like one long list.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project and portfolio management. It is a nice tool to break down a project into smaller tasks and assign ownership to people on the project, being able to add comments to each task also allowed us to easily collaborate/ exchange information for each task.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a great way to track projects and tasks digitally.
What do you dislike about the product?
With other competitors coming out, Asana has a bit to keep up with the additional features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was keeping track of tasks and overall projects while being able to keep detailed notes.
Very robust for administrators, less so for users
What do you like best about the product?
I found Asana to be easy to use and easy to learn for new users. It has a lot of useful features for keeping track of projects and tasks within. I don't know of any corporate task management systems that are as good.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really dislike Asana's notification system, it needs to be more customizable because I feel like my options are all-or-nothing email notifications. I also don't like that they added a "homepage" so that now I have to navigate in the sidebar to see the My Tasks page, which is where I actually spend all my time. I wish that it was clearer when someone had included information within a subtask (it's currently just a small gray icon) because I've missed instructions before, thinking that all the subtasks were just titles and otherwise empty. I also wish that I had the ability to assign a task to more than one user, as a designer who sometimes does team projects with other designers where it's really not possible to split it among subtasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana for all our project management, tracking, and organization. It's also great for record keeping, the search function is good enough to be able to find old projects and keep a written record of what everyone said and did.

What do you like best about the product?
Your entire team is able to keep track of current assignments and projects that you're working on or that need attention

Not able to delete or remove "Projects" that you have been added to
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to keep a good workflow. You are able to see and keep yourself organized. You can add deadlines to projects, sub tasks within a project, and mark them as complete when you are finished. So no more wondering if you finished something, or what you need to do next

I am using this softwarw from long time ago this is very helpfull product for project management also it is giving tough competiton for JIRA

Really no thing for dislike but 1 thing its stopped sometime but overall good thats the reason i am giving 7 rating out of 10

Basically Manage our project by this software done easily
Great but with flaws
What do you like best about the product?
Love that it keeps your tasks and projects in one place and that you can collaborate with others!
What do you dislike about the product?
It kicks me out quite often...and when I get back in, it shows me a list of all tasks instead of my original view of incomplete tasks only.

Managing my projects and daily tasks. It helps keep me organized.
Multi-Use Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like that we were able to create dependencies to divide tasks up amongst different staff members. When one person would check off a portion of the job, it would then trigger the next person to complete their step. It's also nice that there is a browser and app version of the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup was very time-intensive to the point that I wondered if we were creating more work for ourselves by setting up these various flows and templates. The way assignments were shown was confusing to a lot of team members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization was growing in terms of clients and clinicians, so we needed a way to show where clients were in their onboarding and treatment process, as well as where we were with various tasks. It allowed our CEO to see what was done, who was doing what, and what still needed to be completed. It also allowed us to delegate tasks to one another and work on projects together without having to be in the same office at the same times.
Great for project management
What do you like best about the product?
I love the gannt chart. it shows the progress of the whole project and how you individually contributed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't feel like there is anything I particularly disliked, maybe the ability to turn off certain columns like budget proposed or other things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me determine which of my projects were dependant on others getting started on their tasks.
Easy to use project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is clear to create projects and associate them with tasks and subtasks. It makes tracking and grouping tasks very easy
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no timeline view of the various tasks, since each task is tracked on a separate line item. I wish we can turn all the tasks into a Gant chart of some sort, so we can track progress and due dates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving project collaboration and preventing things from falling through the cracks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana can have pre-built templates to help organizations follow SLAs and protocols. Definitely make good use of templates to "check all items" off the list and ensure a smooth launch of projects.
