What do you like best about the product?
I like that it allows me to see everyone's projects based on departments, and it's easy to collaborate with co-workers by adding comments/feedback to show the progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like when a project gets too complicated with too many sub-tasks, it's hard to visualize the progress of the project or the priorities. Also, if you don't have your dashboard set up the way you want, it gets challenging to see your preferences without manually writing them down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to solve project management and task management. The benefits are being able to see them in multiple views. Calendar view has been extremely helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
* I personally dislike the design - it looked like an organized mess. Still a mess though
* on the same note, I don't like the design - lack of graphics and visuals to make it easier for an eye
* I don't like templates that they offer - it's easier to create a new one myself rather than using one of their templates and wasting so much time to customize it to my needs
* Recurring tasks are a pain - you can only see the first line of the tasks and can't see the remaining ones until you complete the first one. It doesn't even make sense. They probably think they're helping us to stay on track, but in reality, it creates a hassle.

We're a small business, and each person in our company wears multiple hats, which means we have lots of responsibilities and things to do. Asana helps us track our tasks, collaborate, assign people and follow up.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is pretty balanced when it comes to mail notifications. It does not bother as much as other task management platforms. Also, if you're used to more classic UI looks, Asana is for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most important feature of a task management software is that it is easy in terms of UX. The way to ensure this is to follow the UI fashion. I think it won't spoil its classic structure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning your sprints and managing your team's tasks is possible with Asana. I used Asana to manage the task of my friends working in the same team.

The ability to delegate and assign tasks to direct team members, directly comment and add comments to each task
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to assign more than 1 person to a task. It forces you to have to recreate or duplicate tasks if more than one person should be working on a task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With a large team, Asana is helping me delegate tasks and keep everyone on track to making sure the entire team is able to keep on progress. The benefits allow a remote team to work in a smooth and concise way that goes both ways where everyone on a team has the power to assign tasks to anyone else.
Asana works well whether you are using for simple reminders or tracking large projects.

Asana gives the option to color coat based on various projects, campaigns, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The program can get overwhelming if you make it that, but it can also keep everything simple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana works great with teams, big or small, to review project deadlines and see what is on the calendars of co-workers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If looking for simple day-to-day usage, the free Asana version may be just fine for you. If you are interested in implementing large projects with a rather large team, you may consider the paid version.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you and your team can all see what everyone is working on, so we can go into standups prepared.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is overwhelming- there are a lot of features and places to look, that a new user would have a difficult time getting started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Asana to organize my daily tasks and view what my teammates are doing so I can stay in communication with them.
Works well for remote teams, but I've used better software

Asana is a great tool if you need to keep large numbers of team members who collaborate remotely updated on project statuses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once you are already fully automated with Slack, Google Calendar, and other tools, Asana just becomes another place you need to give updates to. While the multiple options to tag, categorize, add files to can be helpful, they can also be overwhelming.
