One of the best tools to keep your tasks organized
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Asana is that it is pretty easy to start using without much setup. It can cover simple tasks as well as more complicated cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is some ambiguity in creating new tasks and filling in the details. Everything gets published right away without having a clear trigger for posting the newly created task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps you keeping track of your daily tasks, especially since you can quickly write down anything that you get asked to not forget about it when you are in the middle of something. Pretty straightforward. Another great thing is that it will keep reminding you of the tasks that you need to do and tasks that are upcoming.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana will be a great fit for you if you need to keep a simple task organizer and tracker for any types of general tasks

What do you like best about the product?
Allows me to manage my own daily assignments and keeps me updated on the tasks completed by my co-workers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to discover anything that I dislike about Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana removes the necessity for me having to constantly ask my co-workers whether or not they have finished a job. My editor is also constantly updated with the work I have completed.

Asana is simple to use and keeps me organized with projects both completed and in progress.
Perfect for project management for the team
What do you like best about the product?
Free online project management tool for our team. Easy to learn. Work for both desktop and mobile devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot track time. And you have to pay to unlock advanced functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Help our team a lot on keeping track of workflow of different teams on different projects. It saves us with a lot of time in our meeting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is free and easy to learn. It saves you time on communicating about keeping track on workflow and completion of teams on different projects. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
One of my favorite PM tools
What do you like best about the product?
The Basic version is free, very easy to have multiple projects and users without confusion, sub tasks, comments, file upload.
What do you dislike about the product?
No GANTT view of project, although there is a separate extension.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing the launch of new government websites and having clients log in to see progress rather than sending emails constantly.
Efficient, organised, aesthetically pleasing task organising tool - for individuals and small teams
What do you like best about the product?
It's amazingly detailed enabling you to break down all the tasks within a project and schedule them, delegate them and organise in the diary. No more lists on paper or emails to collaborators - it's all in one place - and with daily reminders to keep on track. And - it looks beautiful!
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything as yet that I can comment on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Far easier than making lists on paper, or the basic reminder lists in google or outlook; share tasks with a VA and designer and track progress; can see months of projects laid out in the calendar view and reduce overwhelm.
Great Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I use ASANA to document the timelines and high-level deliverables for my projects. What I love best is that I can share this information with my team and key stakeholders, using a simple visual where I can provide updates and important files during the project's progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their timeline feature is not as user-friendly or visually appealing as I would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ASANA has helped keep my team on track by reminding them when tasks are due or when updates are required. It's also saved me from having to keep my management team up-to-date on the project's progress as they have access to this information and can see for themselves what we are working on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a simpler and more agile tool than Microsoft Project. I would highly recommend you test it first with a "small" project before using it for larger endeavors.
Repo Deluxe
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to organize and view repositories.
What do you dislike about the product?
When there are too many items in a repository, it becomes visually overwhelming due to the format of the website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Asana, we are able to provide shared repositories that all employees are able to view.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's one of the most convenient ways to manage ideas, tasks and projects simultaneously, I strongly recommend using it!
Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
Great integration with Outlook. Very easy to use. Easy for user to understand and set the targets. We usually update our goals during weekly meetings and set due dates for the goals. Due dates determine issue priority.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be nice if they made the integration with outlook even more intuitive. However, that would probably require assistance from the Outlook team instead of the Asana team. Also, did not see the GANT chart features in Asana. Would prefer if users have access to it down the road.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team project management. We set goals and complete the task in Asana when the issue is resolved.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want an easy team management tool, Asana is a solid solution.
Breaking Self-Motivation Down Into Steps
What do you like best about the product?
I work solo a lot, so knowing how to move the needle on many projects at once is a challenge. The minutes it takes to break down projects, explain the step, and check the task off save me hours in lost productivity. Just the fact that I can see exactly how I spend my time each day is helpful in performance reviews, as well as allowing me to make sure I am just as efficient as I was in previous years, if not more efficient at each turn. The benefits will only increase if more people at my company decide to work on the same platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing; I simply don't know a lot about the collaborative feature since I don't work with others in a fully integrated way. Our company hasn't fully implemented every aspect of the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of clarity on exactly what to do in what order. Sense of accomplishment is higher at work as well!
Helping our team get on track
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to organize all office tasks by functional area and see deadlines and all who's responsible for each task. Can immediately see what is falling behind and what needs rescheduling.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to copy and paste and entire board to another project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our office has no active manager and essentially we are self managed so we implemented Asana to help keep us on track and to manage the scope and schedule of all our work.
