Essential Project Management Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is the way I keep myself and my team organized at work. It allows me to track my to-do list in a centralized way complete with schedules. I love that I can add followers to my tasks so my team knows what I'm up to. I also love that I can arrange things by project, too! It allows me to track what small things need to get done to contribute to a bigger picture. I love the different types of boards too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that there was the ability to assign one task to 2 people without duplicating said task. In all honesty, I can't think of anything else I dislike! It's such a breeze to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to accurately track the completion of projects without tons of needless emails and meetings. I can keep myself and others on task easily. Also I love that I can link and share other docs and images at the click of a button within the same task.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Replace your to-do lists and task boards with this and I promise you will never look back!
Use it daily and recommend it to others!
What do you like best about the product?
My all time favourite feature of Asana is the ability to create tasks that automatically repeat after different criteria. This allows me to systemise my work flow very easily. I also love the celebration icons!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about Asana is the font. I which it were possible to choose what font to display in, similar to how you can customise the background. The other thing mildly irritating is that it doesn't yet work with Google Drive teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love the ability to link tasks to documents in Drive and Dropbox. This saves so much time and ensures that everyone is working from the most recent copy of a piece of work.
Great Organized Teamwork!
What do you like best about the product?
I am a "shiny objects" kind of guy and get distracted so easily! I try to used check lists whenever i'm doing chores around the house. But keeping track of things online was difficult especially with a team context. Asana helps keep all my tasks (and team member's tasks) nice and tidy!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could "allow" edits from other members on certain task descriptions. Sometimes i want to have all the information changed along with my other co-workers. But sometimes it only allows the creator of the task to edit the text.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping the team understand where each team member is at on a project. Helps to not skip over important tasks.
Also i love the feature of setting deadlines for certain tasks! It helps keep the most important tasks at the top!

Free and easy to use task management
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's a free tool, yet full of features. It even has a mobile app that syncs well with the web site. My husband and I used it to keep track of all the tasks we needed to do to sell our house. It was nice to be able to assign different tasks to each other and mark them off as needed. We also added comments to the tasks whenever we'd make a phone call or needed to add any other notes. This is a great tool for business or personal use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest complaint I've seen is regarding the performance of the app. I've seen people say that it is slow. This has never been a problem for me personally, but it might be worth Asana keeping an eye on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For business we have used the tool to track tasks and assign them to specific people. Asana also allows us to set due-dates which makes it easier for us to check in on the status of what everyone should be doing.

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the layout and user experience of the program. Asana does a great job of making it effortless for you to create projects, organize these projects into task, assign these task to other group members, and set deadlines that reveal timelines for the overall project.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only qualm with the platform was the notification and outgoing task settings. Regarding notifications, its really difficult to keep the team from being overwhelmed with email notification for task updates and completions. Regarding ongoing task, it seemed cumbersome to update task completion when task are ongoing, which resulted in task going undated when they were reoccurring
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It really allowed for my team and I to visual project timelines, and to appropriately allocate man power for task completion. I really enjoyed the fact that it was pretty self standing versus something like a slack.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My recommendation for Asana would be to pair it with something like google drive or dropbox. It is great for organizing projects, but you will still need to house and organize these projects. Other than that Asana is a great stand alone app.
Reliable and user-friendly project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
I find Asana very easy to use. Some of the other project management software I've used isn't terribly easy to navigate but I don't have that problem with Asana. It's literally a list of tasks within a project and you can section them out, make subtasks, assign to coworkers, create due dates, etc. All the basics but in a much more digestible format.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are little things I wish it did, like being able to edit comments or use rich text editing within a task (I often find myself wanting to highlight a piece of important text). It would also be nice to assign a comment to someone or have multiple assignees for a task if it's a collaborative effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are extremely task oriented and work in an agile environment. Asana is an easy way to keep all the tasks organized. We also utilize templates, custom tags, and other features. I also like the ability to have an "inbox" so it notifies me when someone comments on a task I'm following, and the messaging within a project for members only. It makes it easy to communicate with a team on a specific project without having to email.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Asana to others because of its ease of use. It's very digestible and I never have a hard time finding what I need within it. There are, of course, things I wish it would do but the support team is very responsive and helpful. I feel like they do consider new suggestions from users and appreciate feedback so they're always coming out with something to improve upon it.
Asana is Amazing!
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Asana for over two years now, and it's the best task management system I've used yet. The way you can manage various projects and assign multiple projects to tasks is probably my favorite feature. I really love that you can also use task feeds and add them to your google calendar and other apps like slack.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am a little underwhelmed by the chat or commenting section of Asana as it seems a little cluttered. I feel also that the sub-task feature is a bit confusing to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it every day to write down both business and personal tasks to remember to do. I've had a great peace of mind using this form of task management. The sleek and clean looks keeps all my tasks always at reach and organized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try List view for most projects. Try sticky note view for only brainstorming tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana allows me to easily organize projects and to assign tasks to my team. I love that I’m always on the top of all of the projects and to keep track of every completed task. This is great tool because it lets us know what is completed and what needs to be done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to keep track of the sub tasks.

This is perfect project management tool that helps us to organize our projects and to keep the track of the progress. I love that it allows us to easily assign tasks instead of using emails to keep in touch with other members. I love that everything is in one place.

This is an amazing tool for everyday management. Project management only works if you implement it.

What do you like best about the product?
It makes it really easy to share topics in a timely manner. I used it to pitch ideas before for comedy, and it's really great at helping a whole team come together from across the country. If you're thinking about it, don't! Just go for it!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really like how it's difficult to change labels on it. If I could help the dev team with anything, I'd give them that feedback - moving a convo between labels is difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easy to bring a whole team together through Asana. I have benefitted from it's great refresh rate. It really is responses almost instantaneously, which is important when you're doing timely work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Really weigh the response time. Lag time is harmful if your work is time sensitive. Mine was, and this was a good solution. Check it out!
I really LOVE using Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana at work AND at home too. At work I use it to keep up with all the tasks I need to do (both recurring tasks and one-time tasks), assigning tasks to others (collaborating and updating those tasks as well) and keeping notes for clients too. At home, I use it to remind me when I need to replace my HVAC filters, mow the lawn, flush the water heater, clean behind the fridge and all of the other things you don't remember to do (but you know you should!)
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana can be difficult to navigate between projects (if you have a lot). Finding one obscure task in one obscure project can be a challenge. I think they're improving the search engine and navigation to fix this though
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping control of tasks, assigning tasks to employees and keeping up-to-date with all of the goings ons around work.
