Good for keeping track of tasks and deadlines, would like better UI and more robust features.
What do you like best about the product?
The project plans are fairly straightforward and flexible. Great for workflow management and collaboration. The price is also relatively reasonable. We use this for simple projects where there are less sophisticated teams collaborating and where communication and simplicity are the main objectives.
What do you dislike about the product?
This platform is only good for the simplest and most basic of project management tasks. It lacks more sophisticated features necessary for real project management, such as time tracking tools and other features. Also, it's lack of structure proves challenging when it is implemented without a lot of strategic planning and / or forethought.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a simple, accessible tool to manage simpler, lighter projects, keep track of timing and milestones, manage project teams and assign tasks with due dates and dependencies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a simpler tool this can fit the bill, just requires forethought as to how it is being implemented. For more complex product/project management this is not the platform to use.
It allows me to keep an order of my work.

What do you dislike about the product?
The board is not easy to use at first glance, its free version should have more tools, although getting the paid version could really see what it offers you, perhaps an improvement in email notifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customers quickly became familiar with this platform, since it is easy to manipulate, thus obtaining greater user responsiveness. Likewise, I contribute to the management and organization of time to channel it into tasks that deserve more attention, we are very happy with the results.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can have your team very consolidated and in charge with the greatest confidence in different projects. It has a very good mobile version, in general it is a very solid tool for project management and organization.
I must indicate that it can be compared with other software in order to evaluate prices and quality, but in conclusion this software complies with the indicated characteristics to manage the company.

User of asana for a student organization.
What do you like best about the product?
It is an easy way to collaborate on and assign tasks to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an easy way to message others without creating an assignment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Students are able to collaborate on tasks without being face-to-face. This app keeps tasks organized in order to more efficiently complete work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend getting the mobile app to track tasks on the go.
Asana is beautiful and practical.
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is far much cleaner and refined than other competitors like Trello and Monday.com. Their minimalist design helps me focus on my work and see my progress easily without being overwhelmed by too much chunky look.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like that the free basic account offers only a few features. It’s frustrating for people like me that have a small team and especially for when people what to use the app for personal use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana especially for project management. It helps me keep on schedule especially when I have to split y time between different projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try the free basic service and check out the features. If there is a free month of worth of an upgrade test it out. It’s worth spending the time in it to set up the right process for your team.
A useful day to day tool
What do you like best about the product?
Working commission makes it very important to keep track of daily assignments. Asana works very well as a single hub to check all of my current and upcoming assignments to keep my schedule organized.
Asana can also have certain tasks repeat automatically, which is very useful if I have a regular weekly assignment or reminder like “update your schedule.”
Asana also allows different assignments to be seen by different supervisors. If I need to contact a supervisor for help I can see which supervisor is attached to my assignment and easily drop a comment to let them know.

What do you dislike about the product?
One issue is that the comment system has almost no organization or subdivision. It’s all just one comment after another, which can make it difficult to find essential information when many people have to comment on an assignment.
Likewise the notification system doesn’t categorize at all. If you have one assignment due, five “likes” from comments, a new assignment added for next week, and an “at” from a supervisor, you will have to read through all of them one by one in the order of newest to oldest.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is the primary management tool used in my business and it works wonders for keeping my schedule manageable. It also helps me feel like I have a clear work/life balance, even when checking my phone or computer. I can schedule specific time to check Asana every day and not worry about being bombarded with calendar notifications about work in my personal life.
Review of Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how collaborative Asana is, especially in this new COVID era of working from home. It's great to be able to work with your colleagues on something without ever being in the same room. I like that all involved can comment
What do you dislike about the product?
This is a totally personal preference, but I don't like being assigned a task by someone else in Asana. I completely see the value in being able to assign tasks but I cringe when a task is assigned to me without someone speaking to me about it first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps us solve how to tackle large projects spread among many departments. We use Asana to plan on our annual reunion weekend which is a massive undertaking. Asana makes the project management for this event easier as we can track progress in real-time.
Since we are all working remotely, Asana allows us to keep informed on the status of projects without having to sit through yet another Zoom meeting.

Easy to use task-management software
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has been great for our team allowing us to easily manage and distribute our work tasks. Custom fields allow us to move projects across form received to progress and completion while seeing our team's overall workload easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
We're looking into third-party software as it would be great to automatically upload tasks received within our website form, as it can be time-consuming to add every task received into our asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping our team manage tasks more effectively as a group, seeing how much workload is on and provides management an easy way to see how long tasks take to complete and level of workload
"The most practical and modern way of working together"
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is an excellent online tool that connects the entire work team in real time, allowing communication, organization and planning to successfully complete the projects in question. Asana is very simple and easy to use, each project has a roadmap. Each task can have subtasks, as well as an assignee, due date, attachments, comments, and tags. These tasks and subtasks are used to track work. (Completely beneficial)
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is incredible and is the right tool to establish organized team work flows, in order to meet the proposed goals and reach the desired objectives.

What do you dislike about the product?
I used to have access to Portfolios and then they changed it so that you could only get this on a premium subscription. Its pretty pointless using it for oversight of all projects in the business without this, but to upgrade to premium you had to do this for everyone in the business even if they needed read-only access to see the overview which is a huge cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting a good oversight of where individual projects are and whats behind.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its great if you get the full subscription and can have access to all of the features, but its hard to work with if you don't get at least premium as you have to use this alongside other systems rather than having everything you need in one system.
My Asana experience is generally positive.
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate being able to include tasks in multiple projects and complete them from anywhere they appear.
I also enjoy the x@mail.asana.com feature to create tasks from email messages.

What do you dislike about the product?
My Tasks sections Today|Upcoming|Later do not always automatically move tasks between sections as expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task Management is a primary benefit for me. Keeping team members informs on "nest steps".
