Streamlined Collaboration and Task Management for Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes it incredibly easy to organize projects, assign tasks, and keep track of progress across the team. I love how customizable it is, from creating templates to using subtasks and dependencies to build out detailed workflows. The visual layout options like Boards and Timelines also help us stay aligned on priorities and deadlines. It’s especially helpful for my remote team, offering clear visibility and accountability without needing constant check-ins.
What do you dislike about the product?
The flexibility can sometimes lead to clutter if teams don’t stick to a consistent system. There’s a bit of a learning curve when it comes to maximizing all its features, especially with custom fields or advanced reporting. It would also be helpful if time tracking features were more integrated instead of relying on third-party tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps our team stay organized and aligned across multiple clients and projects. It solves the problem of scattered communication and unclear responsibilities by centralizing everything in one place from task assignments and due dates to client updates and project timelines. It's especially beneficial for tracking recurring tasks, managing team capacity, and maintaining transparency on progress. Since implementing more structured systems in Asana, we've been able to streamline our workflows, reduce missed deadlines, and gain better insight into how time is being spent, which supports both team collaboration and strategic planning.
Great tool
What do you like best about the product?
This tool has really helped keep my team organized and "in the know" of multiple projects going on at once and their progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it feels a little overwhelming with the amount of tasks to filter through. It would be nice for more of a streamlined way to filter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staying on task with operations and completion of tasks for many projects.
Asana changed the game!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has significantly streamlined my work organization for the past three years. Its platform has demonstrably boosted my productivity and accountability across numerous projects. The real-time calendar feature is invaluable for project tracking, and the ability to assign tasks and monitor team progress is a major asset. In my current role, I've discovered Asana's seamless integration with platforms like Salesforce, which has revolutionized cross-departmental collaboration and visibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Asana excels in many areas, its list view of tasks can feel disorganized. I find it challenging to get a clear sense of my deadlines in this format and would greatly benefit from the option to organize the list view by date for improved clarity and time management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana's visual project development fosters strong collaboration and clear accountability within teams.
Good service for project managing
What do you like best about the product?
I use the service every day. I like the intuitive interface for different features: change the stage name, update the status, sync with Slack and other services. The ability to have multiple dashboards and quickly switch between them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Completed doesn't sync with the Completed stage, if there is one, and in fact I have to mark the task completed twice. I also don't like that it's standard that when screenshots are added to a task, they appear on the board, and I need to note separately that I don't want to see screenshots on the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solves the need to mark tasks and their statuses in a clear and intuitive way. It also solves the problem of assigning tasks to a specific product using tags. Also solves the problem

The only downside is making people be onboard to use it. It can be hard at first but once people starts using it they understand the value.

It is solvingAsana is solving the organization problem in my company and team. It helps us keep track of tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities in one centralized place, which reduces confusion, improves accountability, and ensures projects stay on track.
Really great and helpful
What do you like best about the product?
I love how I can make tactical steps to do, inside a project. I also love how I can include attachments. so helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like how sometimes, I am unable to see what to complete immediately. It can feel like information overload, when I see a bunch of notifications and it doesn't entirely align with projects im working on. Or some tasks can be hidden if its so embedded inside a project (e.g. a step inside another project, inside a bigger project)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
managing my projects and helping me stay organized!!
Perfect for remote small business planning to grow
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I could start with a free account when I went full time with my business 5 years ago. As my business grew, I was able to upgrade and utilize the added features of Asana. I love the versatility Asana has; my team and clients can customize how they see the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Upgrading my account was not as easy as I'd expected.

I love being organized and feeling like nothing is slipping through the cracks. There is good training and customer service. (I could actually talk with real people!)
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, it is a very thorough platform with a lot of functionality. So while the basics are super simple, now that our team is using more advanced functionality, there is a bit of a learning curve. It's like using Android compared to iOS, it isn't dumbed-down for simple use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More efficient communication and management of our team.
