Dynamic Project Management with Asana's Flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana for managing projects in my organization. I appreciate its multi-homing feature and the ability to share information across teams without exposing all variables, keeping the board simple. The customizable Asana API makes it easy to create custom reports and web apps, like sending Slack messages on project updates or building custom HTML dashboards. I value how Asana allows me to create different views for different teams, offering control over how data is displayed, which is incredibly beneficial for efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Access for users gets confusing, especially with what Edit and Admin rights entail, and I can't change access for users in bulk, which is a big issue. This makes it difficult when I need to grant Admin rights to my team, requiring me to do it manually for each project. 2. Rollover fields are not available, making it hard to pull up information on fields to show count, average, etc., at a higher level. 3. The automations are good but not extensive, limiting use cases. If Asana could invest in features like what Make or Zapier provides, it would be a huge advantage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for project management and tracking progress. It helps manage priorities and efficiency with custom views and automations, enhancing team productivity.
Streamlined Project Management with Impressive Customization
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana for project and team management. I love its ability to look through multiple projects and see how work is assigned across multiple teams. The custom fields and dashboards in Asana are very useful. Custom fields allow us to track metrics that are important to our organization. Dashboards offer a quick and easy way to present information to leadership at our organization. Setting up Asana was very easy and integrations were simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Asana could have more customization to dashboards and better rule implementation. The rules don't have a way to manually launch when you create a new rule for a project. I'd love more dynamic dashboard widgets which can change based on the information you're filtering by.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana lets me organize tasks by due date or category, preventing me from losing track. I also like how it allows me to check multiple projects and team work assignments.
Keeps My Clinic and Content Work on Track Without Overthinking
What do you like best about the product?
I work as a Dietician and Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health education content, so my day usually has follow-ups, diet work, and content planning going on together. Earlier, things were spread across notes and reminders, and I had to keep checking different places. Now it’s easier to see what needs attention.
It didn’t take much time to get started. I added my work and began using it without needing any setup help. I use it regularly to keep track of pending work and upcoming tasks, especially on busy clinic days. This helps me stay more consistent with my nutrition and health posts too.
I like that I can set timelines and priorities so I dont miss small follow ups. I also keep short notes for myself about what is pending or what I need to work on next. I don’t need advanced tools for my work, and the simple features are enough to keep my routine organised without extra effort.
I also use it to attach small notes or files to a task, like diet details or content ideas, so everything related to one piece of work stays together. Being able to see updates in one place helps me move through clinic follow ups and content planning without switching between different apps.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I open Asana on my phone when I’m outside the clinic, and the screen feels a bit busy on smaller screens. A few options take a couple of taps to reach, so quick edits are not always smooth on mobile. I also feel that the free plan shows upgrade prompts more often than needed, which can be a little distracting. When I have many tasks for the week, the list takes a moment to load properly on slower internet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier, my clinic follow-ups, diet work, and content ideas were sitting in different places, so I was switching between notes and reminders a lot. Now I keep ongoing work in one place and check it when I start my day, which makes the day feel more planned. I dont have to rely on memory for small things anymore.
This has reduced the chances of missing follow-ups or leaving diet work half done. I also plan my health and nutrition posts ahead of time, so my posting doesn’t stop when the clinic gets busy. On days when work piles up, it helps me pick one thing at a time instead of feeling rushed.
I also like that I can add short notes and links to a task, so details don’t get lost. Overall, it has made my daily routine smoother and less stressful.

Streamlined Task Management, Effective Team Coordination
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Asana helps avoid missed deadlines by clearly assigning owners and timelines. This feature is what I like most about it. All project updates are tracked in one place, which reduces follow-ups and confusion. These elements remove confusion about responsibility and deadlines, meaning everyone knows what they are accountable for, which reduces delays and repeated follow-ups.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana can feel complex for new users. The onboarding can take time for teams unfamiliar with project management tools. Managing a large number of tasks can get overwhelming without a strict structure. Notifications can sometimes be excessive, making it harder to focus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to manage tasks, track project progress, and coordinate work across teams. It solves task mismanagement and lack of visibility across teams, helping avoid missed deadlines by clearly assigning owners and timelines. Project updates are all in one place, reducing follow-ups and confusion.
Clear Task Assignments and Live Status Updates Make Collaboration Easy
What do you like best about the product?
The best is the clear task assigment and status updates. It maked team collabration very easy because everyone can see the live progress of a project without needing constant update meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike about this tool. But sometimes the interface can feel cluttered when a project has hundreads of small tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me divide large projects into smaller sprints and specific tasks. This benefits me because I can assign work to team members and see excatly who is working on what part of the project at all times.
Streamlined Team Communication with Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana's ability to communicate with Outlook because it allows me to capture conversations sent to me via email easily. The integration is valuable as it opens a tab and drops the conversations into Asana without having to flip through pages or manually transferring the information. This feature makes managing tasks and communicating with my supervisor more efficient. Also, setting up Asana was really easy thanks to the resources available at Asana Academy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see automatic tab drop-downs instead of having to click an arrow to open them. Some tabs I just want to get an overview of, so having automatic drop-downs would make a big difference for me personally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana as a task manager and to communicate with my supervisor. It solves the problem of tracking conversations between peers by consolidating information. Its integration with Outlook is valuable, as it captures email conversations seamlessly into Asana without extra steps.
Clean UI and Strong Milestones, but Collaboration Assignments Feel Limiting
What do you like best about the product?
It’s amazing how much a clean UI matters when you’re dealing with a long to-do list. Asana looks great and helps me keep my tasks organized. I especially like that tasks can live in multiple projects, and the milestones are a great way to track progress across projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like most project management software, it forces you to assign one person to one task. That’s not how collaboration works in the real world. Also, the goals feature could use improvement so it can provide smarter, organization-wide insights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple projects at once takes a lot of organization, and it can be hard to keep everything coordinated.
Customizable Platform with Minor Recurring Task Hurdles
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana is customizable and that we can add our clients as collaborators so they have full visibility of the status of their projects. The customized fields help me set up rules/workflows and keep the timeline to completion on track. Also, the initial setup of Asana was easy for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the way that recurring tasks regenerate in whatever section they're in when marked as complete. They also keep attachments when the next instance is generated, and both of these are an issue in our workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps us track progress, manage workloads, and set client expectations. Customizable fields let me create workflows and ensure we stay on schedule.
