Good but a lot of payments
What do you like best about the product?
The software allows tags and labels to be added, as well as connections to be made between projects, tasks, tables, and so on. It is also straightforward to implement for new users, and the option to integrate with Outlook is a significant advantage. Customer support is responsive, and I have not encountered any issues in my daily use of the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Should you wish to avail yourself of a number of improvements, including specific priorities and AI enhancements, there is a fee to be paid. While it is encouraging that this option is available in a free mode, its functionality is limited.

Impressed with commitment to continuous improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is intuitive to use and can easily scale. And, the team is regularly making the product even better and investing time and resources in helping users like me take full advantage of its many features. I use it every day—it's my go-to tool before I even answer email!
What do you dislike about the product?
Be prepared to invest time at the beginning in setting up templates for projects. Doing so will save you time in the future. Like all productivity software, Asana rewards time spent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps our cross-functional team collaborate on milestone projects.
Finally an organizational tool that makes sense!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana provides hierarchies for managing specific projects and simplifies the way that you take notes and associate documents for future review, and it's easy to collaborate with others. The trainings are also very useful. They garner confidence and competence very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once a task is in place under a project, you cannot pull it out to make it a project of it's own. Still, you can go so many layers deep with regard to a particular task, with sub-tasks, and sub-tasks of sub-tasks that it is ultimately not that impactful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before, I was struggling to stay on top of everything just using notes, files, and my outlook calendar. Now, I can quickly see what needs to be done at what time, with who, and why without having to jump to a number of different platforms.
Excellent service and I'm excited to be learning more
What do you like best about the product?
Asana was very easy for me to pick up the basics on my own. I took this seminar to make sure I wasn't missing anything crucial. I really appreciated how focused Serina was in this seminar--she showed me how I could easily set up and use Asana right out of the gate. She and Meagan were very responsive to questions throughout the seminar. Most of the features I anticipate needing are available in the Free version, though at least one (Goals) is something I would consider spending money on. Since I've set up my account and platform, I've used it every single day. Very excited to continue to use it!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a slight learning curve for figuring out how to initially set up the platform in a way that is conducive for me personally. I probably spent about an hour in total learning how to set it up and inputting all of my tasks, projects, and related information that first day. Since then, I feel like I'm off and running, but I would suggest new users block off about an hour for that first set up, depending on how technologically savvy they are.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a lot of Projects I'm working on simultaneously. They are very detailed and each of them has a lot of moving parts. My regular task list was getting cluttered and disorganized because of this issue, so I wanted to find a platform that would help me categorize my tasks under which project they're related to, assign deadlines to make them actionable steps, and visually track my progress so I don't lose hope. I've only just started using the platform, so I'm not sure about long-term results. But I am very happy with how it's going so far.
The Powerhouse of Task Management
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can put all of my tasks into the platform and my supervisors are able to see exactly what I am working on. We also use the projects feature for large event planning which makes it extremely easy for everyone to know what they are working on at events. It is very easy to implement our other platforms into Asana. We have it set up where ADP applications are tracked through the platform. We use Asana every single day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the AI was able to create projects more efficiently. The customer support is also good, but a live chat would be even more helpful especially when they are dealing with outages which do occur frequently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They have been working to improve their AI and that has been a big help when we need to duplicate tasks easily. It also helps when reassigning tasks in a project by simplifying it instead of having to complete it manually.
Well featured project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Good set of features, generous free tier
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be good to create more custom views as a manager. There are aggregates now but getting priority lists might be helpful.
A way to support agile features like sprints would be helpful

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As the team grows we want to keep track of who is working on what and the status/results of the various projects/experiments running.
Streamlined task management for teams
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has user friendly interface that make task and project management feel effortless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost for larger teams . Asana pricing can be high for larger team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keep team aligned by enabling task assignments, real time updates
Great System
What do you like best about the product?
I like the many routes you can take to customize the system to work best for you and how you focus. It is easy to use, easy to learn, and the customer support team is widely available, as well as training.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps I will find something as I continue to work with it, but have not found anything yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication gaps, mutliple locations for documents used for common processes, lack of organization
I'm the boss - Asana's the boss!
What do you like best about the product?
Tracking our workflow and communicating amongst our team is easy. I'm managing more dynamic teams than ever this year, and Asana makes it easy to track progress on tasks and sub-tasks on a daily basis that are moving us towards our institutioanl goals.
I've loved taking trainings with folks like Devon and the Asana staff, who know how to make fun in stressful enviroments - that's great for helping me and my team feel comfortable, and that it's okay to make a mistake!

What do you dislike about the product?
The system is intimidating with all of it's functionality, but I'm working through that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dependencies and timelines. We have a very young team and work in a hybrid enviroment so it's hard to convey the same sense of urgency to all teammembers at the same time. Visualizing these deadlines in Asana while highlighting everyones role in achieving our goals - that's a gamechanger.
New tricks make this way better
What do you like best about the product?
I love a good check list and the fact that I get unicorns really scratches that itch. The new features I learned about in training are super helpful. Looking forward to making all sorts of rules to automate task sorting!!!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a more useable mobile app. My work takes me away from my desk frequently and I'm currently using another app in the field and then having to transfer over to Asana when I get back to my desk.
It would also be super cool to get my whole team using Asana, but that's on my end. lol

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking tasks! I need things written down somewhere to help me keep track of them. I also love that everyone can see where we are at on any project
