It's a user-friendly platform for staying connected with my team, and to ensure that projects get done in a timely and seamless manner.

Not much to be honest. It can be a little time-consuming to get it off the ground and to get all team members integrated and comfortable with the platform. However, that could be more of an "us" issue than an Asana drawback.

For us, it's most useful for project management and ensuring that all tasks are being done in a timely manner.

Intuitive Project Management with Room for More Value

  • January 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana for project management and love how intuitive and simple it is to use. It solves so many problems for me, like ensuring accountability, enabling seamless collaboration, context sharing, providing reminders to keep things on track, and simplifying repetitive tasks through automations. I'm also glad we switched from Google's free project management tools to Asana, and I found the initial setup to be very easy. Additionally, I appreciate that it integrates with Slack, email, Zapier, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's admittedly on the expensive side, so I'm always on the hunt for greater value. More features for the same price or the same features for less.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana ensures accountability, enables seamless collaboration and context sharing, offers reminders to keep things on track, and provides automations to simplify repetitive tasks.

Streamlines Team Management, Needs Improved Views

  • January 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I adore Asana's user interface and ease of use. It makes it straightforward to know where to go to retrieve information, and I can share much more clearly with my team than other databases support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the day-to-day, calendar-based time and task management views could be stronger. Some of the rules functions are buggy, which has led me to stop using them. I also struggle with the Goals function, finding it confusing to tie to tasks and projects for achieving higher-level team management purposes. Additionally, Asana could really use a financial analysis/calculation/trend reporting system to be comparable to grants management software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana streamlines information with a single source of truth, makes invisible work visible, supports clear processes, and improves database management functionality, making it easier to retrieve and share information with my team.

What do you dislike about the product?
At times it can be frustrating how the notifications are not synced with emails to notify on time. However, I could be wrong about the adaptability of this feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps solving the teamwork and collaboration in-between important tasks and deadlines. It is really useful in keeping communication up to date between key responsibilities and discussions that have been addressed within other platforms that are prior attended to before the day commitments.

Simplicity Wins, But Customer Service Is Awful/Terrible

  • January 02, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana for its simplicity, which makes it easy to use. It also allows us to manage our workflow efficiently and complete small incremental projects. Additionally, the initial setup was quite easy, making the transition smooth for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customer service is absolutely awful. We opened a ticket one month ago and it is still not closed. Non-responsive to enquiries and generally disorganised. If you use Asana and do not need customer support, then you should be ok. If you use Asana and have the slightest small issue, you may as well switch to ClickUp or Monday because you won't get help from Asana. I have never seen an online company manage their customer service as poorly as Asana. I am still shocked at just how bad Asana is at customer service (I used it as a case-study last week to show how easily an online brand can damage itself).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to manage our workflow and complete small incremental projects.

Seamless Integrations Make Asana a Standout Choice

  • January 02, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Asana is how well it integrates with Meeting AI Note Taker, Slack, and Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I find lacking is the absence of educational content, as Asana does not offer any certification or course to help users learn how to use the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prioritizing and scheduling tasks.
