great site to get organized
What do you like best about the product?
easy to add new projects as tasks. visually appealing, I like the calendar view because you get overall. Also, the fact that you can upload pictures and files is a great bonus and you can record your voice memos. Its a very easy app for anyone to use. It's foolproof which helps any business owner or anyone complete a task to get to their goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
no reminders for when to do the task..... like something that lets the computer know when to do the task or when the task is ending. like a bell. Having the calendar view be easier to read for specific tasks. Like having it color coordinated so that each task is easily visible. The phone view needs work because It's very plain and you can tend to forget what tasks you have to do. It's not inviting or branded. The computer view is just a bigger version of the phone and it needs some work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
putting all my tasks into one spot so I know exactly what needs to be done.

I felt that Asana made it simple to know what projects I had to work on and also see what’s others had to do for the project as well.

I was a little confused at first learning how to set up my account but eventually figured it out.

I used Asana to work with others on a lot of short term projects for a genetics webpage. It was very simple to know when everything was due and how to space out my work.
Asana - good ui but
What do you like best about the product?
I like the design and ui. It looks and feels great to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The constant emails and notifications. You can change this though. You need to get into the habit of using it if you have a small team it can feel like extra work to input everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning and keeping the team on track. It keeps people organized and accountable.

Use the trial and see if it adds value to your business.

Very personalize-able and great for a free project tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The people you want to collaborate with need to be in the system, and where I was working with this tool there wasn’t a lot of buy-in.

I thought it was great to keep oneself on task and know the steps along the way.
A little difficult to use
What do you like best about the product?
We can put everything in one place and it is free which is good because we all are having a difficult time using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Is too difficult to use and we have never used a program like this before.

We haven't needed to solve any problems. I can clearly see who is doing what or plan to do something.

Manage Team Work Online
What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps manage all project work very easily in few clicks, If you're a manager, track the progress of each individual employee and project, follow up, give feedback. If you're a team member, coordinate with your entire team online. And that too with a sleek and easy User interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to fine tune and improve their notification systems a bit. Sending email reminders of upcoming deadlines isn't the most sophisticated way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Entire project management is now off the whiteboard, excel gantt charts and onto Asana. Tasks, sub tasks ,colleagues working along on tasks. It is all online. Separate message thread on each task.

It is a must try. It can really help in managing projects. It even has a cost free version.

Great to help manage your tasks! Keeps you on track and helps you feel accomplished when checking of tasks. Great motivator.

So far just learning to use it. Would love more quick videos of “tips” to get to learn all the features!

One thing I haven’t figured out it how to properly assign tasks to multiple people under a project. Like project has 4 people, but a specific task id like to assign to 2 people, not just one!

Need a way to assign a task to multiple people under a project. Right now only lets me assign one person as the main person. The remainder I assign in comments.
Helpful for team projects
What do you like best about the product?
That you can make subtasks within a task, add followers if it requires more than one person involved. Also, you can drag images, videos and files and comments/notes. It makes it easy for me to delegate tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Your tasks in my tasks section are set in later/upcoming/today. Wish it was sorted by project and chronologically listed by dates. Also a feature to hide tasks that dont have a due date set (in case the task wss on hold).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to come up with a workback for the creative team that allows us to quality check our work. But we dont know how to do so without it doubling the tasks or overlapping the tasks. Also, i believe there is a feature but it requires an upgrade.

I've generally been a rundown producer. I appreciate the sentiment of having the option to check an errand off when it's finished. Asana steps up the undertaking finish fun by giving you a flying unicorn or other animal after an assignment is finished. I like that it is so natural to see every one of your assignments without a moment's delay and how you can channel finished/uncompleted errands.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very handful number things that I despise about Asana. I don't generally like the segments and how they are shown. In any case, the primary thing that grabbed my attention when I began utilizing it was the design of the bar on the left hand side. I figure it could be improved and permitted to be more modified. I additionally thing the Board could be increasingly moderate.
