Best tool for project and task management
What do you like best about the product?
Asana's best features are being able to easily integrate task management and project management. Different views (e.g. list, board) allow users to engage in information at different depths, and the ability to add tasks to multiple projects enables and promotes visibility across teams.
I like to leverage Asana as both my high-level project and milestone planning as well as my day-to-day task tracker, which allows my supervisor to support strategic planning and stay out of the unnecessary details of how that plan gets implemented. All while allowing me to minimize time consuming and duplicative tracking.
Finally, automations and rules are so valuable in saving time as you go!

What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is certainly a tool that gets easier to use the more you use it. The natural downside of this is that it can be a learning curve to onboarding new team members and getting them to adopt the system.
There are also a number of really helpful features that are only available at certain tiers. I've tried the free version, and would only use Asana at a paid level.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows me to do my project management and task management all in one tool. When tasks are shared across projects, details, attachments, and comments follow, which means that there is increased visibility for my team members.
Great tool for collaborating with different teams.

Asana really helps keep my team on track and allows us to stay very organized.

I find I get too many notifications about the same task, would be good to combine them.

I dislike the my task tab as for me in events whenever a type form is completed it files here as well and this is double work as there is already a completely spectate folder for type form.

What do you like best about the product?
What I really like about using Asana is how much it's streamlined the way our team works. Once I spent some time going through their tutorials and help articles, getting everything set up was pretty straightforward.
It's been a game-changer for keeping everyone aligned—deadlines are clear, tasks don’t fall through the cracks, and it's easy to see who’s responsible for what. The approval workflows and task dependencies are especially helpful for keeping projects on track without constant check-ins.
We’ve been able to move most of our internal communication along with project tracking into Asana, which has made a huge difference. No more digging through endless message threads trying to find who said what—everything’s organized and easy to follow.
I also really appreciate how simple it is to structure and manage different teams. Whether we’re planning a marketing campaign or coordinating logistics across offices, everything lives in one place and everyone’s on the same page.

I honestly don't have anything negative to say about Asana. Looking forward to building my company up with the ease of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the things I really value is how Asana helps us stay ahead of deadlines instead of just racing to meet them. Having clear timelines and task visibility means we can actually plan properly—especially when it comes to equipment purchases or workshop upgrades.
The approval feature has been a huge win in that area. Instead of going back and forth over messages or email, we can track requests for new gear, get the green light from the right person, and move forward without delays. It keeps everything moving efficiently, which is crucial when time-sensitive decisions come up.

Great for team organization!

The ability to have one place where everyone on our team can look to see what is happening on any given day.

Consolidation of tasks, review comments, etc.
Asana Experience

I like the user friendly feel and the way it easily organizes tasks. This makes meetings very efficient to know what the status of tasks are. There are a lot of ways to customize the board that makes it effective for departments to understand where things are and who is working on certain items.

In Marketing - Asana helps keeps track of tasks. It also allows us to share the board with guest users to include our marketing agency we partner with. Asana helps us keep everything in one place from goals to action items and even meeting agendas. It's a great source for all open and closed marketing tasks.
In Sales - Asana helps them keep track of leads coming in through web and calls, quotes that need to go out, and what projects have had shipped products.
