Great task management for small teams
What do you like best about the product?
The free plan provides ample rooms for small teams to manage different tasks. It has all the features needed for a standard productivity flow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can get quite choppy when too many tasks are shown at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage different tasks and reminders; get easy updates at a glance.

I don't really see the necessity while you already have google calendar

creating tasks for others to create versus using anything else

things get lost in Asana depending on how many different tasks and people you are working with

simple task creation and completion

allow people to have a running task list or a summarized list of tasks that are completed/not completed yet
I have enjoyed using Asana to manage action items that come out of projects I am involved in

I like that it can send you notifications and is easy to access and quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I specifically dislike about it. It's generally a good product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Asana as a project management tool. Since I haven't actually led a project with it, I have never been in charge but from what I've experienced, this software definitely notifies all of us of our actions and allow tasks to have the opportunity to be completed on time!

Loved how easy it was to navigate through most areas in Asana. Very user friendly

The tasks section could use a little improvement. Sometimes difficult to navigate

Solving tasks with website company and who is delegated each task. Benefits are improved efficiency and get quality work done easier and faster!

Great Task Manager
What do you like best about the product?
I love that this task manager is detail oriented but not so much that it makes it difficult to use. It has a lot of robust features that make it significantly more comprehensive than a standard to do list.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is quite a learning curve to understanding the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great for team collaboration on projects.

The learning curve is worth it. Make sure to watch the tutorials and take advantage of the support.
Project management software
What do you like best about the product?
Tracking your and your teams projects. I like that you can see where everyone stands in their project
What do you dislike about the product?
Not many people are familiar with this software. Therefore it’s difficult to implement this with the entire team. For now I’m only able to recommend it.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it send out notifications on task that need attention or where assign and has a due date to ensure everything it's schedule, done according to plan. I also like that ability to communicate with out team in the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It gets confusing sometimes there's so much going on in there that I rather search at the top to get where I need to be.

Better team communication for back and forth projects

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a good way to manage tasks and set due dates for yourself. It's easy to manage access and have managers assign out tasks and times
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of issues with ease of use. For example, you can copy one task over but then if you make changes on the copied task it will make the same changes on the original.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To be able to work across teams. It also allows you to see what is on someone's plate at any given time
Powerful Yet Complex Task Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the malleability of the platform. There's multiple ways to set up project management, and recurring tasks makes managing weekly projects easy. I even use Asana at home to tell me via email when to water my plants!
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana's malleability is a double-edged sword, losing out to competitors in ease of use. Asana is a platform that I'd recommend having an administrator manage to get its full value and help users that are new or lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps solve the problem of efficient task management. The platform is great for keeping stakeholders in the loop with your projects just as much as it is effective at keeping project scope apparent to those tasked.

Asana is a great and effective project and task management platform-- as long as you have the knowhow to navigate its powerful and expansive platform.
