Organized and On Track
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to keep track of conversations about a specific project instead of looking through multiple threads, emails, and multiple platforms. Everything can stay in one place
What do you dislike about the product?
You need to make sure your entire team is on board with using it the same way, and at the same cadence. You have to live in it or it doesnt work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple eyes on a project so everyone can stay up to speed and has access to resources, knowledge and information needed to complete a project.

What do you like best about the product?
Keeps our team focused, aligned, and moving forward on our work on a daily basis. Easy to use, good interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes it's a challenge to keep track of comments and communications within tasks -- we also use slack and email.

I like that Asana updates you continuously regarding upcoming due dates and overdue items
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Asana had better organizational features in Projects where you could group tasks into their own "projects" within a project, so you don't have to see other department's tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana updates me on tasks and due dates, including updates from other team members who are collaborating, which helps be better keep track of individual tasks that I have assigned or are assigned to me.

I like that all the to do's, notes, meetings, and separate projects can live in asana.

I think it can be a bit confusing at times knowing where everything is.

The most helpful thing about Asana isn't just one feature – it's how everything works together to keep your team's collective brain organized. It's like having a really efficient personal assistant who never needs coffee breaks and doesn't judge your task-naming conventions.
Integrations are easy to use and easy implementation. I use ASANA frequently for project management. It customer support is responsive enough as well. overall a good experience

What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful thing about Asana is its tendency to overcomplicate the simple stuff while making the complex stuff feel like you're trying to solve a Rubik's cube in the dark. It's a bit like that friend who insists on turning a quick coffee catch-up into a full-day event – sometimes you just want to get things done without all the extra bells and whistles.

Keeping track of time and get overview of current tasks with my clients

Pricey if you want to also be able to track time. This however is crucial as a consultant.

Keep track of time to make sure there are no disagreements with my clients on billing. Also get overview of which tasks we are currently working on

Super user friendly UX allowing easy task management

It was a bit challenging to change the admin in my case

If the board is not yours, it can take a while to understand what's going on. Also the search capabilities are limited

1) Enable the possibilty to have a task which can assigned to differnet projects so that different groups of people can also see the same tasks in their own project.

3) Clear Inbox to view all the updates/message. You can dimiss those message that you handled and read. You won't miss any information even you are busy in managing other works.

What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot do the conditional formatting for the tasks under my own rule. e.g. if the task was late, then I may want to highlight the due date in big red background.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1) Same tasks to be viewed by different projects. I have my own team to discuss this topic, setting the actions and owner. Meanwhile, same topic will be interested to be shared with different teams or even upper management, then I don't need to create another tasks and repeat all the information again to others. I just need to add this task to another project(s).
2) Setting sub-tasks and owners. This can help the team to know what exactly the steps for different team members to work on this main task.

What do you like best about the product?
Our team is able to share tasks and ongoing to-do lists all in one place and keep track of the progress of each other's tasks. I also like the workflows for ongoing tasks to be able to repeat each day/week, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful if items that I was a collaborator on would be added to my tasks section to follow along.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing my team and I to collaborate and stay up to date on tasks we are working on so that we can keep each other accountable and projects moving forward in a timely manner.
