No other better Project Management software than Asana!

  • May 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's got all the tools and more to manage my team and their projects. Where they stand, due dates, attachments, instructinos, it's got it all and more!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the cost would be a bit less for the paid versions, and be able to carry more users. Especially for bigger companies, having more users would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None currently right now personally for my team or me.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is very easy to use to keep track of the status of projects, tasks, and who is doing what. The different layouts help you see visually where things are at, and setting deadlines and owners help keep everyone accountable and on target. The help articles and videos are very helpful so you can get up and running quickly, and the platform is user-friendly enough to figure out on your own with usage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain functionalities like changing dates of subtasks and moving list items around is a bit clunky and can be improved from a UX design perspective. Recurring tasks/deadlines could have better UX as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accountability
Organization
Hitting Deadlines

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy how easy it is to prioritize and organize my work tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that instead of marking tasks as complete right away, that there was a way to acknowledge the task without completing it to fit a calendar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication difficulties, project breakdowns, assigning workforce tasks

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it helps me stay on top of absolutely everything. I also love the shortcuts, the possible collaborations, and how they keep me in line by reminding me of stuff I haven't checked/answered yet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Messages can easily get lost in my inbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem they solve for me, is make it less likely for me to forget stuff I have to do and when I have to do them by. It helps me stay in line and perform much better at my job.

Build to Scale

  • May 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As the first marketing hire at an early-stage startup, I implemented Asana to build structure around our marketing operations from the ground up. Asana was instrumental in streamlining workflows, improving communication across teams, and creating standardized processes for handling ticketing requests. Its flexibility allowed us to quickly organize campaigns, track project milestones, and ensure accountability at every stage of execution. Asana helped lay the operational foundation that scaled with the team's growth and evolving needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some fields, like "Due Date," can’t be renamed—for instance, on our communications calendar template, we used it to represent the publishing date. It’s a minor detail to nitpick, but it shows there really aren’t any major complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before implementing Asana, there was no centralized system to manage marketing operations, track requests, or standardize workflows. Communication was fragmented across emails, chats, and spreadsheets, making it difficult to prioritize tasks, ensure accountability, or maintain visibility across projects. Asana solved this by providing a single platform to streamline task management, formalize processes, and create a clear, scalable system for handling marketing initiatives and ticketing requests.

I like using Asana for it's ease of use and collaborative features.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has been an invaluable tool for keeping our team organized and on track. Its collaborative features make it easy to manage tasks across departments, and we especially appreciate the flexibility in how projects can be structured. The tagging system is a standout—it allows for easy filtering, prioritization, and tracking of progress. The ease of integration as a new employee at this company is also a highlight of Asana.
What do you dislike about the product?
While you can kind of use custom fields as private organizational tools it would be great if Asana offered a dedicated "private tags" feature. Allowing users to add personal tags that remain hidden from collaborators. This would enable individuals to organize their own workflow without cluttering or affecting the shared project space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us stay organized and enables us to work on tasks independently while still collaborating as a team.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Asana is its user-friendly interface combined with powerful project management features. The ability to create customizable workflows allows teams to tailor the platform to their specific needs, making it versatile for various projects. I also appreciate the integration capabilities with other tools, which streamline communication and collaboration. The timeline view is particularly helpful for visualizing project timelines and dependencies, ensuring that everyone stays on track. Overall, Asana enhances productivity and keeps teams organized, making it an invaluable tool for project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything negative to say about Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves key problems in project management by helping teams organise tasks clearly and track progress effectively. It reduces confusion by breaking projects into manageable tasks, ensuring everyone knows their responsibilities and deadlines.
The platform also enhances communication by centralising discussions and file sharing, which cuts down on lengthy email chains. With visual tools like timelines, I can easily monitor project progress and identify any bottlenecks.
Overall, Asana boosts productivity and keeps my team aligned, making it easier to deliver quality results in my role.
