Flexible Task Management with Pricing Constraints
What do you like best about the product?
I most like Asana's strong mobile app and cross-device synchronization because it enables my team members to stay updated and manage tasks from wherever they are, making it very useful. I also appreciate Asana's strong task organization with multiple views like list, board, timeline, and calendar tools, which help my team visualize work in different formats depending on our preferences. This flexibility enhances our project tracking. Additionally, Asana provides visual progress and resource allocation format, allowing managers to track and identify bottlenecks easily, which boosts productivity. The initial setup was smooth for my team as it seamlessly connects with tools like Slack, Drive, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams, fitting easily into our existing workflows without much worry about integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the pricing can be improved a little bit. By the way, the free tier is very good, but the paid plans need some price adjustments. It is suitable for small teams, but I have a very large team, a very large organization. So when it comes to scaling, the price becomes a major issue for us. Also, I will probably give eight out of 10 because of the premium pricing. Most of the great features are behind the paywall, so we have to pay for it to get the best out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Asana provides strong task organization and multiple views, helping my team visualize work flexibly. It offers dashboard and workload reports, allows tracking and identifying bottlenecks, and boosts productivity with visual progress and resource allocation.
Automations Enhance Project Management Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana to keep up with marketing and editorial projects. It makes it easy to stay on track and to see where projects are. I really love the improvements that have been added over the last 7 years. I love the automations in Asana! They're so logical and really help take hours off of our project managers. After we set them up, they allow our project managers to focus on true deadlines, instead of adding links and key information to each task. I also like that there are built-in templates, which made the initial setup easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
AI mode's value to me is unclear. I wish I had more insight into the capabilities of AI Mode. I literally don't know what cool things I can use it for. So far, we've used it to summarize project overviews and updates, and it's very thorough (maybe too thorough sometimes).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana makes it easy to stay on track with projects and see their status. I love the automations which save our project managers hours by focusing on deadlines instead of administrative tasks.
Project Management with Asana
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is often recognized for striking a balance between robust features and ease of use, providing an intuitive interface that still supports complex project management tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The abundance of features can be overwhelming, as having so many options sometimes makes straightforward tasks unnecessarily complicated and contributes to feature bloat. The learning curve is quite steep; new users often find the interface challenging and typically need tutorials to get started efficiently. Additionally, the views can become cluttered—task lists and timelines may appear messy, particularly when completed tasks do not move automatically. Frequent, irrelevant notifications can also be disruptive, often forcing users to disable them to avoid constant interruptions.

Asana: Essential for Staying Organized and Productive
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a game-changer. As a development professional at a small non-profit, I can't imagine how we would stay on top of all of the moving pieces without Asana. Before my email, it is my go-to in the morning to see what I need to do that day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't experience many downsides to using Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that Asana solves is that it allows our team to collaborate across departments, and it benefits us to have it because it keeps us incredibly organized and well-connected to each other.
Effortless Automation and Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like the automations and project crossovers in Asana as they reduce repetitive tasks and assignments when projects reach certain stages. I also found the initial setup to be easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would greatly help our team if we could have more than one team member assigned to a task (rather than duplicating or adding them as a collaborator).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves lack of visibility in remote teams, unorganized calendars, and helps with multi-step projects. I like its automations that reduce repetitive tasks at certain project stages.

Comprehensive Project Management, Needs Better Planning Tools
What do you like best about the product?
I like the automations in Asana and how everything I need to track my projects is in one single place. We use it mostly for requests intake using forms with links, which are created as tasks inside of a project. All the team gets emails and alerts of this new intake. Asana gives high-level control for a manager and granular control for each project owner, providing a solution for different levels of the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Asana lacks tools for the planning phase. For example, a simple Gantt chart that I could create in the project plan would be useful. It would be great if it could transform automatically into a project after it's approved and becomes a full-blown project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for managing projects with automations and centralized tracking. It simplifies request intake and provides control at different levels—high-level management for me and detailed control for project owners.
