Enhancing Asana for Different Work Styles
What do you like best about the product?
(1) Asana is a powerful tool, especially for larger corporations that work in silos.
(2) It offers great potential for project management and organization.
(2) It offers great potential for project management and organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
(1) Asana isn’t very intuitive for those who don’t naturally think in systems.
(2) While it works well for large teams, it could be more adaptable for contractors and consultants managing separate clients and smaller teams.
(3) I’d love to see more tailored functionality for independent professionals or access to an Asana specialist and relevant resources.
(4) Adding pop-ups or quarterly email updates tailored to a user’s role—highlighting relevant features and support options—would help prevent users from overlooking key tools or using Asana inefficiently.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since completing the Workflow Specialist training, I’ve gained a better understanding of how our company can maximize Asana’s potential. However, we’ve been using it inefficiently for a few years, so I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned and share these insights with management. Because we’re still in the process of improving our systems, I can’t yet fully speak to the problems Asana is solving or how it’s benefiting me—unless I focus solely on task and project management, which still needs refinement.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has been super helpful for keeping our team organized. We use it daily to manage tasks, set deadlines, and track progress. The interface is clean and easy to use—even for people who aren’t super tech-savvy.
I like how everything is in one place—no more hunting through emails or spreadsheets to find out what’s going on. The timeline view and project boards are great for seeing the bigger picture.
Also love the integrations—it works really well with Google Drive, Slack, and Zoom, which we already use.
Highly recommend if you're looking for something to simplify your project management without overcomplicating things.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Asana, our team struggled with staying aligned on deadlines, project responsibilities, and overall task visibility. Things would often fall through the cracks because we relied heavily on emails and scattered documents.
Asana has completely streamlined our workflow. Now, every task has an owner, a deadline, and a clear place to live. We can track progress in real-time, set priorities, and collaborate easily without endless back-and-forth communication.
It’s helped us deliver projects faster, improved accountability across the team, and reduced the mental load of managing everything manually. Plus, having everything documented in one place means nothing gets missed—even when team members are remote or working different hours.
