Seamless Tool, Great for Professional or Even Personal Use!

  • March 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Asana because it truly is a one-stop shop for many things. It has increased my productivity ten fold. I appreciate how it sends you notifications everyday to keep you abreast of any tasks that are due soon, and if you're working with a team, they send you notifications for updates made as well. I love the layout, and you can change it to how you want it in case one view isn't your style! And this is random, but I love how when you complete a task, it shows a little animation of a unicorn or narwhal, and that it sort of blurs out that task so you don't get it confused with other pending tasks. You can also filter the view for your tasks as well, from assignee, to due date, and everything in between! My team uses it everyday for many different tasks, and it has been great!

It truly is a great app and is very easy to learn to use. I recommend it to everyone, and will even start to implement it in my own business!
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly don't have anything bad to say about Asana. I've had no issues when using it, and when colleagues have used it, they've reported that the customer service is top-notch and very helpful. So no bad reviews here!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In any organization, you can imagine the amount of tasks that are assigned to you. With Asana, I see all my pending tasks in one place, as well as who assigned them to me, the due date, relevant details (and being able to attach things is AWESOME), as well as who else is collaborating with me on the task. With everything always moving so fast, it's easy to lose track of which tasks were asked of you and when they're due, so Asana makes it super easy to track everything in one place!

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to learn and use. You can model any project or process and make it flow. I have shared it with a couple of colleagues and they learnt it fast and use it periodically.
What do you dislike about the product?
The trial version is free to use, but it is limited to try the most powerful features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keep track of my oppourtinites. Keep track of my due tasks

Effortless Task Management & Seamless Collaboration!

  • March 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is user-friendly and its automation rules reduce manual work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many useful features are locked behind premium plans, which might not be affordable for smaller teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduces reliance on emails and meetings by centralizing task updates, comments, and file sharing. This improves coordination with vendors and internal teams.

This is the best task and project management software that exists.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Asana clearly organizes all of the tasks and projects that I am currently working on for my clients and for my personal use. I use it every day, and since it integrates directly with email, tasks can be generated directly from the inbox. Asana is so easy to use, and I have found that if tasks do not make it into Asana, they do not get done.
What do you dislike about the product?
If it does not already exist, I would like to be able to generate tasks by sending or forwarding a text message similar to how emailing the x email address generates a task. I would also like to see the ability to add an automatic rolling due date to tasks so that tasks left incomplete by the end of the work day automatically roll into the next day if you set the due dats as such.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana keeps track of all tasks and projects that I have running at one time.

Asana is a critical tool in keeping my responsibilities, recurring or otherwise, on track!

  • March 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love all the features Asana has for recurring tasks. I have many recurring tasks that happen on different time schedules, assigned from many different projects. I would be floundering daily if I didn't have this tool for my task and project management. I use it every day and feel lost without it! It is easy to use - I like the pleasant notification completed animations. I usually spend my time on the 'My Tasks' page, as I have made a category for tasks needing to be done today, and an automation to move tasks dated for today's date to be moved to that section.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes my recurring tasks recur with a time added when I didn't set a time for the initial task. This is not a super big deal, as it's easy to correct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I would not be able to hold all of the needed tasks in my mind with the appropriate recurrences if it weren't for Asana. Asana allows me to focus on the work I need to do without needing to get stuck in remembering what the to dos are.

What do you like best about the product?
Outer order, inner calm. Ubiquitous capture. All the GTD functionality a girl could hope for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the sync with my calendar was two way. Otherwise, not much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to stop managing projects out of our various emails!

I organize everything with Asana

  • March 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy working with Asana, for over 12+ years now I have been a dedicated ambassador of the app. I like how it progresses throughout time with integrations, ranges for deadlines, repeating tasks, generally ease of use and implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
1) I really need for certain tasks to have a "in progress" status - not only completed/not completed. Yes, I know I can add it as a field, but it does not have the same level of importance.
2) Also - if I am paying for the upgraded plan with goals, etc, I would like to have a better stats per task/project (like time it took, number of days/weeks it took to compete the project, all kinds of metrics for "project-based" structure (that is not responsibility/roles based per Asana project, but rather by a project with a real deadline). All these metrics would be connected to my goals and measured, compared and tracked there as well (per project but also per goal and per portfolio).
3) Automated messaging. If I want to use Asana as my ticketing system for customer support, I would like to be able to make automations such as: when somebody fills in my form, they receive a message that we have received their request, they are automatically added as a collaborator to the task, receive this message, if we ask them a question and they don't answer in X days - we sent an automated message that we are closing the ticket in 24h if no response is received. And more. Stuff like this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I would love to use it as OKRs as well, but unfortunaltelly the upgraded version is too expensive and it doesnt have all the features needed to be a fully OKRs structure with all the metrics we need (we are a service company with projects with deadlines but also monthly maintenance).
We actually use Asana for everything else so it solves us all the problems connected with team alignment, forgetting, prioritizing, planning, communicating on specific tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Is is so easy to use and does not require complex steps to enter/edit/track information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not seen any downsides at this time. I primarily use it for tracking tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is so easy to move tasks from one day or week to another. It is easy to prioritize each day and then reprioritize through out the day if needed. It is easy to enter tasks.

Asana makes our work more efficient

  • March 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how organized Asana is, and how well it allows us to keep track of each step of the process for all of our projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there are very few downsides for me. Sometimes I wish there were ways to shift entire groups of tasks or subtasks into another task, but that functionality may exist and I just am not aware?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana keeps all of our tasks, deadlines, and details in one place. That benefits us as team members are often in and out of meetings all day, so this allows us to stay in touch and on task and clear about everything we need to know and do.

What do you like best about the product?
The amount of free features and how easy it is to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything we do not like, it is our go to program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of our data is on Asana, it is our CRM. Without it, we would be at a loss.
