Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the ease of use and intuitive interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
The server is often down, causing me to lose track of projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows for communication among our remote employees.
Steep learning curve, but effective PM system
What do you like best about the product?
Love the design and the fact that all the information is stored in a single "task," including the comments - it's helpful to have it all in one place. (Plus, the little character graphics that float across the screen when you complete a project are an added bonus!)
What do you dislike about the product?
Took a bit of time to learn - it's not the most intuitive. Can also spam your email inbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The comments feature helps us keep tabs on a project without going back and forth over email.
You must give it a try
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is easy to use, saves your time, and is easily synchronized with the smartphone app. Asana is the definitive solution for teamwork, it is an excellent tool for organized and timely workflow. It also allows me to keep track of the timeline, the assignment of tasks, many notifications and reminders capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I started using Asana, it seemed a bit confusing, but with time everything became easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helped me to schedule my daily, weekly, and monthly projects. It's also better than a few others that I have used in the past. One of the best things that has benefited me is that it is free and has allowed me to manage all my tasks.
Good software, not great
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it easy to make and manage any tasks for yourself. It helps to keep organized and it feels good checking off a box once it is completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
when you are tagged into discussions on asana, you don't always see the notification.

Create For Task Management
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is very user-friendly and is so helpful in keeping all the tasks that I need to get done organized! It's also great for group projects because you can have multiple people in one task and then create subtasks to each individual with a specific due date. Before I had Asana it was challenging to keep track of all the projects I had going on and what needed to be completed in each project before we could consider a specific project done.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only thing I dislike about Asana is that when someone comments your name in a message that it doesn't pop up on the side of your computer that you have a message/ notification. When someone does mention your name in a tasks/ project there is a red dot that appears next to the "inbox" section.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its been very beneficially in keeping all the tasks for a project organized and helpful for myself to set realistic deadlines when I can see all the other tasks I have to do for the day or week. It's also helpful for keeping track of interns when we have them to see what projects they are currently working on and when they finish a project they were assigned.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My advice for others looking into Asana would be to try it out! It's helpful in keeping your tasks organized and staying on top of projects (especially if you have a lot of them!)
The best task manager out there
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple and easy to use. I have use it for different projects with great success.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support is not 10 points, but it's ok though
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every time I start with a new project (I'm a digital marketer) I organise all my tasks with my clients here.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In my experience, best task manager. Better than Basecamp and Airtable at least, that are the other two I know
Like Sticky Notes Without Killing Trees!
What do you like best about the product?
It's basically a digital version of sticky notes, which are my ultimate means of staying organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a little confusing to get used to, but I eventually learned to love it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting notified when tasks are completed among my coworkers is a lifesaver. I can reply to clients immediately letting them know they're taken care of without the awkward extra step of asking coworkers if they've completed it for me.
Easy Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity and effectiveness of it. Keep track nicely
What do you dislike about the product?
Can’t log in multiple accounts for the app
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management. Helps keep track
I find Asana so frustrating to use.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easily you can sort tasks by due date, and that you can copy tasks to use at a later time. My client likes that it is free to use. That is the best thing about Asana.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you can't quickly see tasks that are overdue on the home page. I have to click over to see all my tasks. In other PM tools you see the overdue tasks first. I don't find Asana as intuitive as other PM tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a free way to communicate tasks with clients. My clients are happy that they don't have to pay for a PM tool.
Like Slack for Creatives
What do you like best about the product?
It's useful to be able to reply all via email without having to open Asana...which is why I don't see the need for Asana.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to scroll through long threads. Not sure what the perks of Asana is compared to Slack. Seems to have limited use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Design and product development. Can share files.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Mobile sign up process is a bit clunky. Also I'd advise not asking clients to download this if they already use other softwares.
