Work as a team in the easiest and most effective way with Asana.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is an excellent solution for managing tasks and projects based on the cloud that allows companies of any size to manage and organize tasks and projects all in one place and at the same time.

It is very intuitive, has easy to use tools and very intelligent functions with a highly visual platform, so that people can share plans and communicate in real time, and at the same time know who is doing a specific task and in this way to be able to work effectively.

In a simple way you can keep everyone aligned with the goals and objectives of the project.

One of the features that I like most about this software is that it is very easy to use, you learn to manage this software in a very short time. To use it you only need an internet connection and a browser.

You can also use the iOS and Android mobile App, which provides a simplified version, and everything you do from your cell phone will be synchronized in the cloud to the touch.
What do you dislike about the product?
This software is really great and I can not limit complaints, maybe the price is something expensive but it is a necessary tool and therefore worth your investment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my case, it helped me a lot in my work place I was able to invite collaborators, and create projects for different work teams, and assign tasks to each member, thus speeding up project delivery times with quick answers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It works extremely well, is quick and easy to execute and does everything you need, making collaboration and teamwork a lot easier.

Very aesthetic and helpful

What do you like best about the product?
I like that whenever you complete a task, a narwhal shoots across the screen. It's also very helpful that people can comment on tasks as you go along.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I cannot share a task with someone - I can only make a copy of it for them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Definitely meeting task deadlines and staying organized. It's much easier to follow the checklist on Asana than it is to create my own.

Easy to use and a good project management tool

  • April 25, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's fun and simple to manage task lists and communicate with the broader team. The ability to import CSV task lists is helpful as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Subtasks are confusing and redundant. They also don't behave as expected. We are better with just creating a new task even if it is a "sub task"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
project management and team communication. We've realized managing timelines can be simple to keep everyone on track.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try, you won't be disappointed

Completing Tasks Is Easier and More Enjoyable

  • April 25, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is fantastic and easy to use. We use a messaging system (Slack) which has an Asana extension and it is a great way of keeping track of all the data requests sent to me. If something is sent to keep through email, it is no problem because Gmail now has an extension too. So instead of having to write things down or type things in to stay organized, you can just hit "Create a Task" and the information is sent to your Asana page. You can attach emails, pictures, add other people to the task, create a due date, add comments, etc. There are so many ways in Asana to help keep track of things and collaborate with others. The best part....turn on Extra Delight and the "occasional celebrations upon task completion" and it makes for some extra fun any time something is completed or moved to a new column!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that in order to use all the functions Asana provides, you have to upgrade to Premium. Using the boards and calendar are free but anything else is extra.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management, organization, timelines. It has truly helped us become more aware of what everyone is working on and to be more efficient in completing that work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is free for basic functions. There are so many ways Asana could be used to improve tasks, processes, etc. Try it out.

Asana as to help organize and manage work

  • April 25, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is useful and simple. It is easy to follow and understand how to input, read the UI to understand current state, and what's not
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI while user friendly could have some potential enhancements around visualization. I.e. add colors based on specific criteria.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workflow management. Working with a team across different departments to increase visibility on work and influence collaboration. This has benefited our technology and operations organizations and their work together.

Project management tool

  • April 25, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to collaborate with many other colleagues both in our organization and outside. Easy to keep track of projects that require many hands to be completed successfully.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the tools are not available without purchasing a more costly membership level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to organize graphic and interpretation projects across the organization. Many departments can communicate with each other and with the designers about current and future projects. Senior staff members can also see the projects submitted and the progress made as well as make comments along the way.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to learn the basics and then build your project management skills from there.

Very useful for collaborative tasks

  • April 24, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The good pricing model for commercial use. - Available in web and mobile App versions - Create and assign a task to multiple users is easy - recently added task portfolio option, which helps managers to track progress in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the thing I would want to change is that Asana is somewhat hard to pick up. The tutorials on the website are not super useful for learning all of the features available (which can be somewhat overwhelming) and could definitely be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helped me keep all my projects organized and cohesive. There are so many things I liked about Asana: multiple to-do lists with different teams, assigning tasks, sub-tasks, different project views for those with different learning styles, due dates, and more.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is a great tool for teams who are already using other software where Asana is not needed. I like how they have templates for different industries, this made it very easy to start using the software.

Pretty dang good

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has been helpful to use after transitioning from working exclusively in Google sheets and scattered project management from meeting to meeting. The follow up system and accountability for who needs to be doing what is huge.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my experience the hardest part about this has been onboarding coworkers who are not as tech savvy as the millennials in the office. Some of them just refuse to get the hang of it, which is frustrating!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, employee accountability, team collaboration
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Focus on onboarding and really explore the app with coworkers to decide on best layouts, features, etc

    Education Management

Not new user friendly

  • April 23, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
In theory, it has all of the built in functions I need (task assignment, creation of subtasks with deadlines, attachment of files, etc)
What do you dislike about the product?
The overall design is neither appealing nor efficient. It is not easy to navigate or easily track progress without multiple clicks. It lacks the visual cleanliness of other project management programs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're testing it out to use for project run by the education team but completed by others. At this point, many people are just ignoring it and using their own tracking methods since asana is a pain
