The best task management product I've tried.
What do you like best about the product?
Clean, intuitive, easy to use. The design is nice, not too crowded, but you have the option to add notes and comments to delve into the tasks. I really like to be able to use Asana on a variety of devices. Asana is one of the most powerful and flexible task management products I've tried. My team is very grateful with this software!
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana has a bit of a learning curve. Due to its power and complexity, it may take some time to become familiar with all its capabilities and how to navigate them. Fortunately, the Asana guide does an excellent job of guiding new users through the basics and advanced features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can do the heavy lifting on my laptop and then access all the projects / tasks / comments / etc. in the progress of my phone. It goes beyond the basics with functions like infinitely nested subtasks, the ability to comment, assign, add tags, expiration dates, etc. At a completely granular level.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would like to recommend this product because it is ideal for a medium or large company and will allow you to create and track the tasks of everything from daily administration to project management. It has more than one way to use the platform giving more possibilities and has some excellent integrations with slack and gmail. It also has excellent role levels, which means that you can control who sees which task and group.
Great project management tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is extremely user friendly and a quick way to disperse information to a team and get things done. The custom fields are very helpful, as well as the integration with Slack. It’s also very aesthetically pleasing :)
What do you dislike about the product?
There could be a way to make the tasks with a lot of comments organized a bit better. Sometimes if one task has a lot of comments, it’s a bit to dig through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accelerated delivery across teams. Got hourly pacing back on track due to the customary fields.
Great Organizational Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can look at accounts based on different sales cycle stages to strategize outreach.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything. It has been a huge help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization management
Well laid out for progressive thinkers
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to build templates of frequently used tasks. It's good for project management and keeping track of things that need to get done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many of our "advanced users" don't like the all online approach to task assignment. It's also hard to justify spending money on a task service so I'm stuck with using just the free service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me organize and prioritize all the tasks that are hot on the stove right now.
Great task tool
What do you like best about the product?
The product is very easy to integrate into other software and it's easy to use in teams. We have integrated in places like Microsoft Teams channels and more to come. It's easy to use projects and leave comments etc. It's very flexible and the invitation of team members works really well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not really anything to dislike. If we should put a finger on something, then it's an option to see your teams tasks easier and find a way to see them even though tasks are marked as private. Private mark is the default option, so it's often not supposed to be private.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great tool to make checklist and reminders for yourself, a team or as a project. The repeating tasks is working like a charm. Making it easy to do repetitive tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Maybe be better at pushing it to other departments who use different tools which make it harder to collaborate between departments.
Dynamic Management App
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is super flexible, easy to use, and has many features that are beneficial to different workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing model. For startups this can be a burden to have a minimum amount of accounts instead paying just for each user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has lots of integrations that are very well implemented.
Asana is a lifesaver for solopreneurs
What do you like best about the product?
As a one-woman show, I use Asana in my business to warehouse all details of a project on one platform. Goodbye 167 emails and attachments requiring approval. Asana allows me to share files, track deadlines, assign tasks and incorporate feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
I need to learn more of the features! There are a multitude of functions that I haven’t implemented yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlined approach for project mamangement. Ability to work with remote teams.
Above average
What do you like best about the product?
The calendar view. It’s easy to see when items are due.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too easy to create assignment - click on a day and an assignment is created

Asana Makes To Do Lists Make Sense Again
What do you like best about the product?
It helps me brain dump my to do list to get on with my day. I like being able to drag and drop to organize my tasks and I like being able to separate my tasks into different sections.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to find tasks that have been completed. I’d also like some more powerful sorting options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of to do lists especially for projects that involve repeat contact with someone outside the company. I use the comments feature to essentially log progress and I set the due date as a reminder to follow back up on the progress if I haven’t been updated already. I like that it provides transparency and a record of my productivity.
Using what the Client Wanted me to use
What do you like best about the product?
It works well for small teams that are new to project tracking/communications platforms. Easy for most to understand. However, there are better packages if you have complex projects with large teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't reply to the alert email - must go into the package to update, respond or message. Not intuitive in use. I don't like the charting/project progress method - as it is not based on a percentage completion but a user deciding it is "complete" or blocked. You need to be very specific with subtask titles, it is easy to get lost if multiple tasks have similar subtask names. The team got confused multiple times with the subtasks, recording changes in the Master Case/Select Vendor (task/subtask) that should have gone to Retail Box/Select Vendor.
