Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple and intuitive. Roles can be clearly defined and projects and due dates are set with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user experience is great over all but I do wish I could upload even larger files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling and organization of projects to meet deadlines. Easy platform to be collaborative with your coworkers.

Decide how you want to organize your projects and then start assigning them.

Not the best for keeping track of involved projects
What do you like best about the product?
I liked asana - but it wasn't as easy to manage all of the documents, time tables and tasks for everyone to do in different departments. The site is laid out well, and I do like it - but sometimes its a little hard lay out everything you need - it is very time invasive.
What do you dislike about the product?
we need research, development and marketing to work at the same time and they make it a little hard to communicate and keep track of everything you need. I don't know if it is only the way that Asana works, or our team in general.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps use manage different projects and tasks. We can have our files under projects which is nice to have them allocated for them in the place they belong. We can also put important due dates on the calendar and we see how that helps people get their things done in time (most of the time) and what is coming up.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think going through a quick, easy tutorial once you start for every single person would be good. we had team members have a difficult time getting exactly what they needed to get done, done because they didn't not take the time to learn how to use the site. An interactive "getting started" demo from the beginning I thought would be very helpful!

What do you like best about the product?
The work team is often not in the same office. Asana handles team conversations around projects in motion very well.
We also run an electrical integration and software integration business. These are different disciplines requiring different dashboards. We can do this with Asana.

What do you dislike about the product?
For task management it is great but for scheduling it is light.
Task notifications are by email. For super critical, unplanned tasks we still use the phone. Why not include sms messaging for things that can't wait for an email check?

Task tracking and management when running multiple projects simultaneously.
Terrific Tool for Managing Projects
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a great tool for managing projects, whether you are the only "human" resource, or there are resources shared across multiple projects or company entities. There are iOS, Android and web apps that allow you to access your project information from anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
The iOS interface is clean, but "too simple." It leaves many features invisible, and can increase the learning curve for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use this product to act as a resource for a project that is run by someone else. It allows me to see the tasks others on the project are working on and who may be waiting for me to complete my work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you allow sufficient time for users to learn the software and how your company will implement it!

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy Asana makes it manage task but also separate those task into projects and even more granular or more robust categorization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really wish Asana would allow custom repetition. I would love to have certain tasks repeat 6 months (or even maybe 3 years, whatever I deem appropriate. Maybe 104 days?) after last completed, but for now it can only follow the completion of a task by up to two months I believe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps organize my teams and also helps me coordinate with other directors to make sure we can work in conjunction with each other on a task without stepping on one-another's toes.

It's so easy to use and the price is right!

I liked that we could all work remotely, but be on the same page as far as projects

Sometimes all the projects got out of control (user error) and there so many things going at one time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We set up alot of systems and procedures with Asana. It helped when we all needed to be working on something at once and were dependant on other's progress to continue working.

Make sure that everyone using the software is on the same page, do a group training together.

Not the best for projects that are graphics heavy.
