Asana is the best project management tool I've used for teams
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is the best project management tool I've used for teams. It's easy to get set up and the learning curve is small.
What do you dislike about the product?
More and more features are being reserved for premium members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I communicate action items with my coaching clients here. It's amazing!

It's worth the time to learn how to use and implement.
Best Project Management Software, Free or Otherwise
What do you like best about the product?
I love their super slick web app, everything works better than expected. Love the ability to mention other members of the team, have lists/sublists. The text editor works great, emoji shortcuts, lots of shortcuts for doing whatever you want... Ability to select multiple items with Shift+Click and assign them at once... They also have a great API for custom integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really have nothing bad to say about Asana, they're a great service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps us keep track of all our assignments, big projects, or small to-do's, Asana is great!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try, it's free, you've got nothing to lose.
I used Asana at a previous construction job and it worked well for the tasks I gave it.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I was able to get alerted when tasks were do. It was also user friendly for others to use. You could also assign other people tasks that were in charge of the project. We really liked to use it during team meetings to keep track of which project we were discussing at the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime it was difficult to copy tasks or assign them. Also, it can be overwhelming to get the alerts if you are still working on the tasks at hand. When you assigned the tasks it was a little harder to use on the phone app. Sometimes the app would not work on my phone and I am not sure it was just too big for my phone to handle or if there were too many projects to get through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to track all of the things we need to accomplish or look up on different projects with different clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would suggest making the app more user friendly. I like working with it online but it is tough when it comes to the phone.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Asana allows me to organize my tasks, and make it more productive overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have had issues when it comes to the notifications I get in my emails, in that, I don't get them some of the times, which then causes some scheduling problems. But it's not really common however I should say.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My advisor uses Asana very often to organize his students' tasks and keep track of who's doing what, which is also helpful for us, his students, to know what we should be working on.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked being able to mark projects as they progressed along the pipeline. It was also really easy to utilize dropbox, Google drive and other apps with Asana.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I forgot to amend deadlines, and I always felt like there should have been more pop-ups reminding you to do key items based on user actions and clicks. Also, emails show up really strangely...and out of order.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use with Asana and dashboard features. Building out a task down many levels is easy, and the visual of the project makes everything easier to communicate. I like the comments feature and how I get notifications when team members comment on projects or tasks I'm included on or responsible for. The different ways to display tasks makes it easier to manage my own workload and time.
The mobile app is so easy to use and looks and works just like the website! I absolutely love the app. I get notifications on my phone screen about comments on projects and it really helps me keep up-to-date on everything going on for a project.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you can't set up project and task templates in an easy manner in the version we use. Instead I have to create a project ortask and leave it unused and just copy that project or task each time. In the beginning I had to go in and update my email communications because I would get an email everytime anyone changed anything at all on the project I was working on and it would get overwhelming and my inbox would be swamped. Since updating my settings to reflect that I want less emails, there haven't been problems.
Also, while Asana is great for cross-team project collaboration and planning, it doesn't have the best individual task management system or to-do lists that are easy to see and keep up with.

Asana really helped with the management of work we have. My company I work for works completely remotely and before we implemented Asana it was very difficult to keep track of everyone's responsibilities and deadlines. Asana helps us complete our projects more efficiently and always on time.
I'm a contractor for my company and I have to keep track of my work time for every client and report it in order to be paid by the hour. Asana easily integrates with Everhour and made project and time tracking a breeze!

Consider the benefits of different levels of plans. We use the Premium plan for the company since we're small and consist only of 10-15 people.
Smooth Sailing
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has been a great project management solution that has done wonders for staying organized and collaborating with the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've had a few issues with downtime but nothing too severe.

Our previous project management tool made it difficult to track tasks that were no longer assigned to yourself. With Asana it's a breeze
Great for Organization
What do you like best about the product?
The way it perfectly categorizes everything that I need. I greatly benefitted from using Asana in my previous position. I managed a small team and I needed all the help I could get.
What do you dislike about the product?
This interface has almost too many icons, and it can sometimes get confusing. I feel like there are features that I'm not utilizing because I'm not just entirely sure how they work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keep track of my goals and schedule has been made much easier with Asana, I have a lot of my to-do list and Asana is like having a personal assistant!

Asana is a great tool for a small company. I highly recommend it to help track and organize the responsibilities of a team's day to day.
Great organization
What do you like best about the product?
Great way to organize project management. I like how they are constantly iterating and adding new valuable features. I also like that they have a few different styles of project organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that they don't have a native application for Mac. Using it in a browser tab is a pain because I often lose where the browser window is. Also, I'd love to have a menu bar app that I could use to quickly add tasks to projects without having to dive into the web app (similar to Harvest in a sense).

Using it to organize projects so we can track progress and make sure nothing falls through the cracks, and to communicate project progress to relvant parties.
